    What a great tour video. I like it when you show us interesting stuff in your area.

      Thanks…I appreciate that! I try my best to post somewhat interesting things that many might not see in their areas rather than just throw up anything. I’ve got many more ideas, weather and time permitting. Thanks again😁

    Love to see different mine sites. I live in an old iron mining area of the western U.P of MI. Now we made trails throughout the old mine sites for all kinds of silent sports. They are working on single track mountain bike trails now. Going to be awesome when it's done.

      Thanks for stopping by! I love old mine sites as well. Living in West Virginia we have tons of old abandoned coal mines, both deep and strip mines, that you can explore. I have a couple videos posted of some old coke ovens that are off shoots of some old mines as well. The coke produced there were sent to Pittsburgh for use in the steel industry. Very interesting! Sounds like the folks in your area have a great idea about turning those old mines into riding areas. Would be nice for that to be done here as well. Thanks again for dropping a note!

    Hey, it could've been worse, John. You didn't lose the screw for your crank and the pedal threads weren't stripped and you got it back on. That's a win!😎

    • @ReflectionsofOurLife
      @ReflectionsofOurLife  2 года назад

      That is definitely a huge silver lining. It could have been much worse. Thanks for pointing that out. Another thing is that since they are ebikes, I probably could have made it home using the throttle 😎. I do a pretty long throttle test in my upcoming video that was pretty interesting.

      Hi Cory! I showed Lisa your comment and we are both totally humbled by your kind words. We are exactly how we seem on video…just down to earth people who love getting out and spending time together. I’m glad you both enjoy our videos and look forward to making many more. I’m actually working on another video now for a ride we took with our daughter on Monday. Something happened on the new video that hasn’t happened before and I’m trying to figure out how to present it. We started out with a plan and it ends up totally different than we expected. I hope to have it posted in the next couple of days. Thanks again and God Bless!!

    What a great day for a ride!! Bet you're glad you had some tools with you. Guess I'm not the only one that stuff happens to. The Gremlins seem to follow me wherever I go lol.

      Hi Dan…it was a great day because I had tools. If not our day would have been cut short!😂. Wait til the next video I’m working on now. Like Pedro said in the comments, I agree with the thought that my XP is jealous of the “Rat Rod” because we had problems in the next one too!

    This week's episode is brought to you by John's bag o' tools. Don't leave home without it. Hope you guys enjoyed your weekend.

      LOL!!!!! I wish I would have thought about that during the video!! I’ll have to remember that for the next video and give you credit for the idea😎

    Hello John and Lisa,
    Glad to see you back on the road again. Sad to see problems with the Rattan but things do happen. Good time to have tools to repair on the road. Have you had problems with your Electric at all? Very nice video and it does feel like we are going on a ride with with you. Love your comments on what you see and the interesting point of view you give while riding. Please keep on making videos and God bless.

      Hi Kevin…it’s great to hear from you!! I’d say those problems were more my fault that the Rattan’s. I never did go over it to make sure everything was tight before I started riding it. I’ve never had 1 problem with the Lectric even after over 500 miles. Thanks for the kind words and we will have a new video posted in the next day or two and have no plans to stop😁😎

    Hi, Blue Lockite. a drop or two, no more will stop bolts from coming loose. Don't use Red.

      Good tip! I was told to get some lock tight but didn’t know about the color.

    When going up ste hill drop your gear down from 7 to make it easier to climb.

      You know…my wife reminds me of that all the time! I don’t know why I don’t do that very much because I’m very aware that I should be doing that. 😂 I’m trying to get better at doing that. Thanks for stopping by and leaving your comment. That’s why we are all here…to help each other as much as we can 😀

    Not trying to be a smart guy,but Watts= volts x amps, so you can figure how many watts your Lectric is putting out with this equation.

      Hi John! Thanks for the input…I’ve never been very good at electrical terms and their equations so I appreciate that. 😀

    • @johnzudans7724
      @johnzudans7724 2 года назад

      The equation sorta explains a lot of the terminology when it comes to the electric bike motors and their capability.

      Thanks again. I have a pretty good friend that is an electrical engineer and probably should ask him some questions about it as well. I think he’d actually be pretty interested in checking out an ebike.
