We are part of the custom van club that was hosting the show and come up to support fish. Hopefully 25 we will have a van there to. Was an awesome turnout. Lots of very cool stuff. That ford panel van at the end of the vid has its factory intech 4.0 in it not a Barra. Thats what makes it unique is that they kept the original engine and turboed it instead of swapping it out. It goes real good to even in a semi mild trim.

The Hugger Orange 2nd gen Camaro is (apparently) not a real Split Bumper - I see the non-RS valance and turn signals underneath the bumpers. I'd sure like to see one of those XB-GT Falcons with a set of Cragars, the Minilites don't look bad, but I prefer them on smaller cars. That pale green and white Holden looks like a '71 Hornet in its rear half. That 265 Hemi sure stands up straight!

Those Sandman panel wagons look like an ElCamino with a box built onto it. I love it! That Falcon panel wagon with the turbo Barra looks like a blast too. You Aussies and Kiwis sure got some cool cars. But I guess you probably think that about us too. We always want what we can't get. There are a lot of cars we never got here in the States that I would love to have. Especially stuff from the 60s to 80s. Which is also my favorite era of American cars.

Those things on the back of the Valiant wagon scoop air from the sides of the moving car, and divert that air onto the rear window, in an effort to keep it clear of rain drops and snow.

That was awesome! The old UTE (Chevrolet/Holden) looked like the back of any 39 Chevy sliced off and moved forward. Even the coupes had a side window at the back that would had to have been filled in. The odd thing was the split rear window. The US Chevys didn't have that. It looked more Ford-ish. I'm amazed at how many of the Australian-build cars had "mixed make" features. Or what looked like mixed make to me. The Holden Sandman looked like it had Ford Pinto tail lights. Some of the others looked like Dodge or Plymouth 'esque grilles, but were Ford or GM. I loved the Valiant Safari wagon that had the lights in the top of the fenders at the front. Were those some kind of running lights or turn signals? Would really be a cool add on to an American version. That would really make people ask questions. The Saker, I noticed later, the guy had the doors and engine cover open. I was trying to get you to scoot back over there, but you couldn't hear me...LOL Enjoy the rest of your visit and soak up as much sun as you can. You will probably be flying back into sure-nuff winter. The cold in sweeping down as far as Florida later this week. Have whoever is picking you up bring you a coat! Happy New Year.

That's a OHC 4.0L, not a Barra, and appears to be from an EBII-ED based on the rocker cover.
