I never understood why they didn't build that Falcon ute or similar here in the states. 🤷♂️ They could have called it the Ranchero, and they would have sold like pancakes!!! 🥞 I suppose that would have taken too much of a bite out of the lucrative full-sized truck market that they had going for all of those years, though 🤔
some of the best cars are built in sheds, never underestimate the skill and determination of a shed built special. The body work on the AU being stretched as much as it has is impressive.
The north island isn't where the rust free cars are , too wet and humid . The south island is generally drier especially inland, in places the annual rainfall is remarkably low, and hence better preserved cars .
Nice panel work done. Are the front wheels as wide as the rear ? or close ? , I've found that very wide tyres on the front make the steering skitterish, and up to 235 wide is ok .That's been the situation on my Valiants anyway.
Nice "shed" wicked build. Nothing is like the pull of a quick straight 6 engine. Cheers 🇨🇦
This is so cool! Glad HotRodding is an international thing, and KIWI builders are amazing!!!
Cheers mate!!

Old engines make great coffee tables! Just add a nice glass top 😎

Bring a few Cleveland motors home with you.😊
I think he's trying to work out how to stash a couple of those Barras in his luggage.
@@donbellot4214 If your doing "Cleveland's" either 2v or 4v they need to be Geelong cast....

From what I've noticed from Kiwi's Big Adventure, no rust! Enjoy the rest of your trip mate!😎
We do have rust but not like you do in the US where they use that shit on the roads to melt ice and snow we don't need it

There's rust if you look, especially near the coast!!!
Compared to the northeastern United States they are "rust free"😆
@@glennnickerson8438 No salt used on New Zealand roads . Thank goodness.
Chur! 👍
Chur. Ya must be a Kiwi😎👍
Hopefully that Barra VCT system is more robust than that of the 3V Modulars...
I hope you show us the end results.
I'm gonna try😁😎👍
