That seems like a nice driveable car.
Its nice to see a car that hasn't been hacked up or modded to something it wasn't.

Nice 57 150. Well optioned for a 150. Power steering and electric wipers.
The shock bar on the rear is a good upgrade. Trifives were bad about busting out the upper mounts as they just mounted into sheet metal. One upgrade I would recommend is a dual master for the brakes. A front sway bar would stop the lean. Both fairly easy installs.
The steering, as you know, is going to be a little vague. I put a low mileage (non power) box on my 55 Handyman wagon and it helped but the difference in driving my 2012 Focus (rack and pinion) and the 55 are night and day but it's easy to get used to. I also added a front sway bar which is the number one thing I did that changed how it handles (GREAT!). I've done other stuff too but I won't go into all that.
I've driven it from Memphis to Nashville for the first Good Guys show, Pigeon Forge several times, to Dayton, OH a few times, Sommerset KY a couple times and a number of local shows and cruise ins. I NEED to get it out and drive it. I've been working (non stop) on another project (November deadline) and haven't taken it out in a year or so. May have to do that today...or tomorrow...LOL
    Have a good one!

It's really unusual to see a 150 with fender skirts. Personally I would like it better without them, but it's not my car...
I really like that the interior was redone in the factory pattern. I've always liked the 57 seats and door panels.

Yes sir. I think for us older fellows it is easier to get in and out of a vehicle that sets about the height of those cars. I have a 2000 Buick that I call the "go kart" as it sets low, does handle good and has good power but it is a chore to get in and out of. I have a 72 Chevrolet 4 wheel drive set at stock height and it can be a climb these days to get in and out of (old man at 72). I remember the ease at which I got into that 56 Chevrolet I had and actually out on the open road it rode quite well. After I put a .060 283 in it with some hot rod pistons and other stuff (Crane Fireball cam) it would sing right down the highway easily at 70 plus mph. Those cars as you pointed out do ride different from todays vehicles but driven responsible they handle ok. The stuff we have in automobiles today, well that was exotic racing stuff back in the fifties. I believe that car should be a 283 as the engine came out that year (may be some carryover 265's and also Chevrolet introduced the Turboglide transmission which I believe was quite troublesome). Ironically Ford outsold Chevrolet that year but the 57 Chevrolets have the distinction of being sought after. That car is representative of what people did on cars back when I was younger. Very few people did actual frame off restorations but there were some who would clean up and paint the underside of the car and also at the time these cars were not old enough to have rotted out body bushings and such although these parts could be had at the Chevrolet dealers.🥸👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
