The old Plymouth just couldn't hold it any longer 😂. Thanks for the look see Kris 👍👍. So many have been hot rodded, WOW
I enjoyed seeing all the modified ones !!! cheees mate !
The owner has an amazing collection and is obviously wealthy beyond belief. I have a couple beater projects and am flat broke, but in all likelihood I am probably less stressed out than he is and am probably happier on a daily basis because of it. My hat is off to him but I am content with what I have
Sensory overload. what a collection. world class.
It was way too much to take in, in an hour....😎👍
I'm impressed with the shine on the showroom floor 😂
Enjoyed!!!!!
How does a person amass the type of wealth that it would take to own this collection of beautiful machines?
Everr wonder why classics are so expensive? Collections like this are a good part of why.
That and all these televised auctions now. Plus the way they lubricate the hi roller bidders with free alcohol is similar to how the Vegas Casino's operate......you can't really call it shady but it's approaching it !
@@kiwiclassicsandcustoms9160 the absolute truth. Drunk people make poor decisions.
Thank you for sharing, absolutely LOVE the 2 tone Desoto Convertible at 51 minutes in the video, such a beautiful color combination!
Lots of great looking cars! Thanks Kiwi.👍
Thank you for the tour.
Glad you enjoyed it!!
I had no favorite, these were all pretty cool!
Thanks so much
😁😎👍
A funny thing about museums is the way it changes you in the eyes of the irs.
While this cost a lot of money, it actually let him keep his money in a way that he can get it back easily.
Hmm, that's true!
Who/what are you referring to?? A little more context would help.
Kaisers were sedans mostly four doors made from the late 1940’s till the early 1950’s. Continental 226 cu in six with a three speed manual transmission. Never made a ute. That is a complete custom. And the BMW is the Isetta model. Made from 1953-56. 300 cc one cylinder four stroke. Four speed manual.
I love the modern corvettes with the retro styling that’s so u unique!
WOW
Wow is all I can say. 😳😁👌
Kiwi can you believe this 1965 price for a new Selby 427 Cobra--
Since its launch in 1965, the Shelby Cobra 427 has been a highly desired car among collectors and enthusiasts worldwide. The original retail price was $7,500--an affordable sum for its time.
Not for most people, My father was only getting $20 Australian per week 😂 our house 7years later was $3,000 😮 all the best to you all
Nice collection. Must be fun keeping all the fuel fresh!
We call it diamond plate! Great video
😁😎👍
Great job and video what a collection of cars it looks like it matches jay Leno's collection
WOW Kiwi just WOW, that is the most impressive car collection i have ever seen in my life! I don't think even Jay Leno has that many cars at his place. So many to chose from to say which one you like the most. I really did like that 63 Chevy that had the Imperial roof on it, very nice job they did on it. I didn't realize that they had Stainless roofs on Cadillacs back then either. Thanks for taking us along and did you say that this was Building A meaning that there are more cars in other buildings?
BMW Isetta. Strange little car. But I like it 😊
that blue and white dodge convertible gave me a flash back to my Mk 2 Zepher she was a very similar color but that's all Cuz
Apparently the roof on the 63 Impala was from a 1960 Plymouth Fury of all things.
Kiwi if I was to line up all of my hot wheels from when I was a kid I wouldn't of had that many. 🤙🇦🇺
I hope this is what heaven is like when us car guys die!!!!!!
Amen to that👍😎
All Of Them.....
789= 57 front, 58...something in the middle, 59 rear. 7 8 9 I've seen (pics of) several of these over the last few years.
Nice collection.
That was a confusing car.....
I would just like to own one of them.
Wow! Nice collection indeed.
Looks like a lot of restomods. Beautiful cars. You have to wonder how much if any road time these cars get. Thank you Kiwi for filming these.
You're most welcome. Glad you enjoyed it!!
Surprised he didn't have a Cameo or 2 in the truck section.
I understand people work very hard to get where they are but this is next level, how hard do I have to work? Thanks for the video kiwi.
WOW What an awesome collection.
Amazing collection! Thanks for sharing! Cheers! 😎👍🏎🏁🏁
You're welcome, glad you enjoyed it!!
Holy Mary, mother of..........!! What a collection, mate! You know, even when walking around Southwards in Paraparaumu, you'd see some absolutely gorgeous vehicles, but others would be as they were when donated / offered by the owners for display and therefore more likely "careworn". Even Jay Leno's garage - the bloke who is a self-confessed petrol-head - there are vehicles that have the odd blemish or ten.
In this collection though, they're all looking just like they have been finished off the day before by the people who did them up / customised / restored them. Hardly a bum print on a seat, no stone chips, perfect glass and chrome, spotless interiors..... It would be more like walking around a showroom of new cars than someone's collection of vehicles, wouldn't it! You could eat your lunch off any part of any vehicle....but then you'd likely get chucked out on your beam end!
Pick a favourite he says. One!! How can I do that when I see so many I would love to own? The early 70s Olds 442, the 64 Buick Riviera, the 32 Ford coupe (ZZ Top fame), the 70s Dart Swinger, the early 50s black Caddy convertible, the 63 'Vette (split-window) in my favourite colour, the deep red Mercury Cougar convertible (XR7 debate).....I could keep going for a long long time, but in true fact, any of the machines in there would be welcome in my garage, as something - anything - in such perfect condition would be the pride of any petrolhead to own.
Jeez - imagine what his rego or insurance costs would be each year! Sounds like he is a bloke who can afford it though - and bloody good on him for buying the vehicles he likes, getting them done up and then keeping them in a place they won't deteriorate so he can take any one of them out whenever he likes. If we had the money, I'm sure its what any one of us would do. Me? I'd set them up so the public can enjoy them as well....and have a weekend each month set aside for people to come along and go for a ride in the ones I wanted to exercise. That's what I wanted to do if I could scrape the cash together to take on the British Car Museum in Te Awanga when Ian Hope (a very charismatic and eccentric bloke with a wicked sense of humour) passed on a few years ago and his family put it on the market....but it wasn't to be and the cars are all gone now.
Anyway, that was a great watch, Kiwi. Much appreciated as I saw a few favourites and like you, some I've never seen before. All the best
You need to know more about Studebakers!
When you see cars that could be identified by their looks alone, and then compare them to the junk being sold now, it seems as if we haven't progressed all that much. There isn't much out there under $100K that attracts your eyes the way these cars did. Of course, they didn't all have show chrome and paint 3 feet deep as these cars do now, but they were much easier on the eyes than the present array of sorry SUV's and electric cars.
For a secound i thought it was your shop lol
The Sultan of Tennessee?
It's that kinda money for sure!!
🇺🇸
Yes almost exclusively American iron 😎👍
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍 : Who ever started this collection it’s be built long over time and custom ! It would surprise me theirs a mix of original mileage cars and resto-mod very cool collection ! Great Video, 🍩☕️👀😎👍
Wow what a fabulous collection!!
Thank you for sharing this with us
You could be there all day, and probably would be able to view them all, awesome collection, thanks for sharing, all the best to you and your loved ones
My frist car was 69 barracuda fastback blue s code 💙 long gone was to nice for 17teen
BMW Isetta :)
Spectacular collection! First half of 1970 the falcon looked like the 1969. Half way through the year they introduced the 1970 1/2 falcon. Looked exactly like the torino. I always like those torino cobras.
I probably couldn't afford a fender off any of those cars
He owns COPART a big car auction & salvaging company. I'm wondering if some of the collection were wrecks or junks that he brought back to life!
I presume the 789 on the custom corvette chassis is reference to 57’, 58’, 59’. Maybe the eight is reference to the corvette chassis. 88 corvette ?
Wow, this must be heaven.
It kinda is!!😎👍
The sound
Got my new mics now but the sound is not great on this video sorry. Crank up volume man!!
What a visual symphony absolute art great collection mind blowing experience wandering around here
I am going to shock
This place is Amazing 👍👍
It really is!!
The building itself is a work art nevermind all the vehicles and condition they're in. How does one person accumulate all those cars, buy multiple collections and get them to show condition?
A love letter to American automobiles, quality electroplating. No nickel flares anywhere 😎unlike my galaxie 🤔
What are you referring too bud?
I get thrown out seting in them.😊
At 7 minutemark that roof is 1960-61 Dodge or Plymouth roof.
Sweeeeet 🤘🏼⛽️🍻
Ain't it though!!! 😎🥃
There are some interesting collections stored in the caves in the Shenandoah valley here in Virginia.
Green dart was my car afterwards bearcuda green bench😊nice car too
I want the cobra jets, the fairlanes, the cudas, the 442 w30, and the scout.
Lot of nice cars , but several of those custom ones are pretty horrendous
Flat head into ford n tractor was a kit you could buy back in the day.
Wow, really!!
Give me one of everything American Made 😎
Thanks for taking the time to video this incredible collection and facility...
I don't blame you, I have no interest in political functions either...
I'm sitting here trying to imagine what it would be like to have the money
that it would take to have a collection like that, and I can't even begin to grasp it.
Not that it matters but I'm always curious how people attained their wealth.
The vast majority of those cars are custom. Non factory colors, custom wheels and interiors.
That was obviously a 56 Golden Hawk with the Packard engine.
I had a Studebaker once.... about 45 years ago. I know a reasonable amount but I don't know it all. Just enough to be dangerous😬👍
Jay lenos collection looks very small now. This guy could do with a couple of Aussie valiant chargers, 1 straight 6 hemi with the 6 pack and the other with a 340? Hemi V8people would say…what’s that!
Or even an E49 engined VH Valiant Ranger , very rare , one only, as far as I know. 👍
Jay Leno is an honest man with an honest collection. He didn't set out to collect all of those cars. And he didn't rip anybody off to get them. Plus Jay's collection has a lot of stock cars in it. Some customs. Others only modified for safety and/or drivability. He said that when he drives a car from the 60s, he wants to feel like he's driving a car from the 60s. If he wants to drive something modern, he'll drive something modern
Willis Johnson, worth at least 3billion according to the internet.
The whole estate is mind blowing
That black el Camino has a Monte Carlo front clip.
That is right. The last ones were based on Monte Carlos.
I’ve said it a thousand times but man I will always miss the styling and designs of old cars new cars just suck and they all just copy each other!
I wonder how many of those custom vehicles started out as perfect original vehicles. I'm guessing most of them. I have no problem with custom vehicles. But when someone cuts up a rare original to make a custom. It really bothers me. I like it when people take old beaters that aren't worth restoring and customize them
Lots of really sweet cars there Chris, thanks for sharing them with us. And I am biting my tongue about the Billionaire owner of this collection as I know his Politics and views... and I'll just stop there.
I wonder how often the hired help have to go through and dust all of those off? Must be a time consuming effort!
Somebody, has tons of money! Great, for him! Capitalism, for the win! Ambition and drive, will make you!
Kiwi please don’t say it was a republican thing:( That’s one hell of a collection! A shame it’s not open to the public:( makes you wonder why not share such a sight. Anyhow I really love that convertible falcon but from the taillights it’s a 1965 or over.. but it doesn’t say falcon on the bumper.. is that a custom emblem? Or what year is it?
That was a 69/70 Shelby GT500 at 15:00
Didn't see any Plymouth Superbirds or Charger Daytonas.
That's true! Maybe he's not a fan, it's not like he couldn't afford some.......
What does the owner have against factory wheels?
Hi Kiwi
Hey bud
audio is almost not understandable, sort of like underwater with lots of base? love the cars though.
Sorry about the sound. My new mic's had not turned up ( they have now) so I just had to make do or not do the video😔
@@kiwiclassicsandcustoms9160 even if there was no audio, lucky to see so many beautiful cars in one place, aka, 4 barns.
Make Gasoline Great Again
That's a slogan I could get on board with!!😎👍
What the hell did the owner do for a living!?!
Whatever it is. I'm sure it's all not technically 'legal'. But when you know politicians, you can get around those pesky laws
Factory colour .
Cool!!😎👍
Thunbs up people..
Cheers mate!
To many Chrome rims friggin blinded by chrome.
Not to fond of the wheels on some of the cars a little too modern
Bmw isetta
