Thank you for going in detail, showing us while explaining, and expressing your (clearly!) honest opinions. Educational, entertaining, and refreshing. You're a real treasure, Kiwi! 😊
Turns out I didn't need to re-watch this. Was able to get the gist of the install on the original upload even though audio was out of sync. Good to have this new upload for those who will be referring to it when they perform same procedure. As always, hitting thumbs up first thing.
That kit makes it easy to do a 4-link. So much nicer than factory leaf springs... I'm glad that I'm not the only one that welds some parts that are made to bolt together. I do still put the bolts in, and I'm sure that it is perfectly fine just bolting it together, but I like the extra strength and piece of mind that comes with welding. I don't do it on everything, but I definitely do it on suspension components. It's cheap insurance and it doesn't take very long to do, and you don't have to worry about having your suspension come apart... I'm looking forward to seeing the old 58? Chevy pickup.
That was really good. Made a difference when your everything was falling in together and you're talking about it. Thanks for that. Good job! It's going to be interesting to see when it's all done. 👍👍🙂🇨🇦
Luv your work and craftsmanship. I do case and mill work. I have to do all my own calibrations for equipment and saws. You should look at a small magnetic digital angle finder. I personally have a little bit of pricy finder that will do angles and X y axis but you can pick up on at a Lowe’s or Amazon on the cheap now. Just saying…. I use to use the same angle finder you have…. The one I have… game changer.
Mr. B. Here ! 🍩☕️👀😎👍. Well Chris as a old guy I fine the aftermarket improvements ok , I guess ! At this point am at the getting my Oldsmobile 455 running, oh someone put a 1973 455 w/cam with no information with the car . My Olds library has been a god send . As I stated in a pass video most guys buy these vehicle and do not realize they are used cars . I knew someone had put hands on this vehicle. My goal to bring it to highway cruiser as I remember them. Oh it’s a Colonnade Cutlass S Sport Coupe . Your video is very interesting & most informative 🍸🍸🍱👀😎👍
Measure the overall length of the axle then subtract the width of the mounts and divide by 2. Place each mount that distance in from the end. Then double check. It won't be dead nuts but it should be really really close. I bet it's what you did off camera but I had to throw that out into the ether or my brain would pop... 😅
Forgive me if this suggestion sounds silly, but wouldn't stringing those axle brackets onto a couple of 4 foot lengths of threaded rod make it easier to set your spacing and alignment? It's usually worth your time to make jigs for anything you're going to do more than once.
Huh... pretty straight forward deal. I should have looked at this kit before ordering a new leaf spring kit and everything for my 69 Camaro. I looked at several other kits but decided on going back stock. I threw away half of the replacement parts and found nos stuff because it was chinesium junk and was pathetic
Even though I watched the first version, I hit like to bump this one.
Thanks man!
as someone who's edited thousands of hours of video... these things happen... keep up the good work Kiwi
Cheers mate!!

You are appreciated👍🎩
I like how you always show the good and the bad of these kits. Helps us in the real world.

Great results with good parts. Makes it easy!

Pretty slick kit ! Especially having a lift !
Awesome video, the edit made all the difference 👍
That seems to be a very well thought-out kit.
The first version was kinda fun to watch, sort of like a Japanese dubbed movie like godzilla. 😂
🤣😂🤣
😂😂😂😂Godzirra! Godzirra! Lol
It’s an improvement on the oem horse cart tech, and doesn’t mess with the inside, winner winner chicken dinner!
I missed the first one, nice install on this. Good video, nice product and even a gas tank bump. What's not to like.
Now you're ready for a little Trams Am racing!😆
Sweet, went back to watch it in the morning, and poof, it was gone... :)

Little grease makes those ends slip in a little easier. Helps stop squeaking too.

That kit looks great you need an alignment drift
My 59 Ford convertible wheel hopped so bad
Cool new complete with full audio

That's actually a pretty good idea!! 😎👍
Was the nose up 2or down 2?
Down 2 deg
can you delete that bump stop bracket
Yes you can. If I put mini tubs in I do but in this case they cause any clearance issues
