SH and Durge fit together perfectly. Both of them have lost most of their memories.

The sequences with the Tav alone and going to bed are definitively different for the Durge. Things are way more sinister and you are afflicted by your unknown past. Also the dark urge is filling your minds.

I would have killed Wulbren. He is a pain in the .... from beginning to the end. He is possessed by power and revenge, because the Ironhands were once thrown out of the city, because they collaborated with the god of murder Bhaal. BTW: Things would have played out a little differently, when a misfortune did not happen in your run in Act 1.

it was the right decision with Wyll. A hard decision, yes, but the right decision. Wyll has earned it to be free of the pakt and not be an eternal slave to the hells. There is also another reason, for Wyll that it is the better decision. But that would be a spoiler.

I rolled a nat 20 on the 99 difficulty roll, it doesn't matter. None of those rolls really matter, tbh. In my playthrough, Karlach volunteered. She said she was dying anyway. After she transformed, she said the infernal heart stopped trying to blow up and she was excited to continue living, albeit as a mind flayer. Broke my heart. In my playthrough I was also Gith. A Paladin, and I went with Bae'zel to liberate the Gith.

Huh, I didn't realize how much more hostile Shart is when you leave her to die. I mean, fair enough, I would be the same in her shoes. Her thing with Githyankis is kinda fair, I don't like them either, but I may be biased because I somehow got every single one I met to try to kill me. I befriended her pretty qukckly, mainly because I told her that I didn't care who she worshipped (mostly because I didn't know who Shar was at the time, but the more I heard of her the more I started to despise her and most of her followers). But now I see why she gets some hate and I kinda agree

I wonder if it depends on your decisions and approval with her until that point. most likely yes as I know Larian. so if you were good to her and people in general she will decide like this on her own and persuading her is unnecessary. If not maybe even that won't help. Anyway now I don't feel that good about rolling that dc 30 persuasion check :D but then again it seemed like she is not sure and needs a little push :)

I just realized why Astarion was coming onto you so strongly and why it felt not sincere. It's because of his past and how he thinks he is owes you something for your help, and heartbreakingly bc he was basically used as a prostitute by his "master" to lure victims, that's the only way he knew how to express gratitude.

The House of Hope was the most memorable sequence in the game for me-the whole story has been building up how inescapable infernal contracts are, Karlach has so much PTSD about her decade in Avernus, the Emperor and even the game UI itself warn you as you manually put the items in place to conduct the ritual-so much built-up tension, it really makes you feel like you triumphed over impossible odds when you pull it all off (even if you're a filthy casual like me and played on Explorer difficulty, lol). Yurgir pointing and saying "I'm with her" was priceless. What an awesome adventure.

Kay! Just caught up with your Dark Urge playthrough, glad to see you're still around. Veilguard looks interesting, tho the new graphics are going to take some getting used to, unless this isn't really what they're going for in the actual game itself.

It would be great for me if this "parallel universe" has to do with the ending of the first. Thinking they may be using your save file or ask about some choices you did on first game, or at least ending, so the Alternate reality is the "what if" version of the one you did not choose and it had these extra ramifications. Also, it would be a great reason on why Max would use her powers again, since learning or seeing that you your choice had more consequences years ahead than thought, affecting even on people she is close to in the future would certainly be enough to shake one's "determination" again, specially when you thought that whole topic was "closed". Maybe it's a stretch, but even without that, I will still play it since the 1st one has such a unique feeling and Max was a great character. Also really liked having those little differences when talking with someone about how my story differed or how I handled certain events from them.

It’s different because before she was only able to stay in the photographic barrier of the past that would of course change the future now she’s able to just go into a whole entire parallel reality

To this point, because they have so many variables, they usually leave 90% of them unmentioned, but you will be able to choose key decisions feom previous games and even Inquisitor will show (you will be able to sdit them, same as Hawke in DAI)

Hardings voice actor is the same as Liara in Mass Effect.

great to see you back! i know you've obviously played the DA games before, but i would totally watch you play through the series on the channel :) Neve and Lucanis were in the comic Tevinter Nights, and Emmerich had a quick cameo too, which is a collection of one-off stories taking place in the DA universe (basically an anthology), all mostly after Inquisition. there's one that involves Solas that could be crucial to Veilguard. Harding, Varric, and Neve were in The Missing. Emmerich was in The Eternal Flame. Taash, Bellara, and Davrin are brand new characters we haven't seen before!

I love the Dragon Age series, but the art style in this trailer was really jarring to me. Idk, it felt like something marketed towards kids (like Fortnite), and I just really hope the tone of the game is given the maturity that it deserves. Especially considering that Dragon Age is similar to BG3 in that it has very *adult* romances, definitely not something for kids.
