- It's been a while since I've uploaded, and I'm excited to be back! AND WITH DRAGON AGE NEWS!
It's been forever since the last Dragon Age game! I'm so so so excited to react to this trailer, and I can't wait to see what the 'Dreadwolf' has in store for us.
DRAGON AGE VEILGUARD IS FINALLY HERE!
I can't promise a full return to uploads, but I can promise they're on the way! I'm working hard now that the semester has wrapped up to start on the content I've been working on!

Great to see you back! What happened with the Durge playthrough? (not complaining, we all have lives. Just curious!)
I may be a bit late, but I’m playing Inquisition currently
My first reaction was. „What did they do with Varric? Why did they make him look so worn out?“
My second was: „Oh, can we recruit Harding now?“ 😂
Oh I LOVE that Harding is coming back. I didn't even recognize Varric until he spoke though!
@@CuriouslyKay Yeah, many people had quite the chnages through the DA series. Remember Alistair and Cullen for example, they also looked quite different/ better later :D
But yeah, Harding is also pretty cute :)
I love the Dragon Age series, but the art style in this trailer was really jarring to me. Idk, it felt like something marketed towards kids (like Fortnite), and I just really hope the tone of the game is given the maturity that it deserves. Especially considering that Dragon Age is similar to BG3 in that it has very *adult* romances, definitely not something for kids.
Oh I'm definitely not a fan of the art style here either, but I usually don't like the cinematic trailer art styles for these games. Aside from DA2, I can't think of other cinematic trailers that even looked like the game. Definitely excited for what they have planned though!
@@CuriouslyKay yeah I just saw the gameplay trailer and it looks much better, imo. Dragon Age Inquisition is one of my favorite games, so I'm really invested in this one since it directed ties to the events in DAI, I really hope they do it justice. Also, I romanced Solas in DAI and I hope if they allow the inquisitor to come back that they factor their romance choice in, as they have done in previous games.
@@Anima19925 Still not convinced after the gameplay trailer. The whole vibe went to cartoon style, not a fan at all, but thats life. New people probably wont mind and old ones don't matter in that industry. Was very much a fan of the older more serious tone. Those demons from the gameplay trailer looked like your 0815 random mob with absolutely no menacing or dark vibe - defintely not rotten, blood magic evil demons of the old games. Could also be a djinn, some storm minion or anything else. And still too cartoony for my taste.
@@joelquinn5347 Yeah, I would prefer if they made the enemies look more dark and menacing like they used to, but I'm glad that at least the people don't look like that cartoony style that was in the trailer. Maybe after all the backlash from the veilguard trailer they'll make some adjustments? Idk, I know its a slim chance but I just really want them to do this game justice, I'm so invested 😭
Kay! Just caught up with your Dark Urge playthrough, glad to see you're still around. Veilguard looks interesting, tho the new graphics are going to take some getting used to, unless this isn't really what they're going for in the actual game itself.

i know you've obviously played the DA games before, but i would totally watch you play through the series on the channel :)
Neve and Lucanis were in the comic Tevinter Nights, and Emmerich had a quick cameo too, which is a collection of one-off stories taking place in the DA universe (basically an anthology), all mostly after Inquisition. there's one that involves Solas that could be crucial to Veilguard. Harding, Varric, and Neve were in The Missing. Emmerich was in The Eternal Flame. Taash, Bellara, and Davrin are brand new characters we haven't seen before!

So cool to see you back! I'm fairly clueless when it comes to Dragon Age but seeing the hype around the new game is definitely drawing me in, would absolutely be there for anything you do about the older games especially as a sort of primer for Veilguard

Oh I definitely agree. She kinda gives Peebee vibes from Mass Effect Andromeda, so I’m excited to see how her character is in game!

I loved the trailer! It's a good introduction to the characters and the vibe of the game. Taash, the Qunari Dragonslayer, Bellara the Veil Jumper and Neve are my favorites, just going by vibes.
Oh I definitely agree with your fav characters so far. The necromancer is very very interesting to be since he seems to be older than the rest of the cast

To this point, because they have so many variables, they usually leave 90% of them unmentioned, but you will be able to choose key decisions feom previous games and even Inquisitor will show (you will be able to sdit them, same as Hawke in DAI)
Yeah I figured that. What I’m really excited to see if how the Wardens ended up after everything in Inquisition, especially having a warden on the team
Hardings voice actor is the same as Liara in Mass Effect.
