I’m cool with 2.0 but enough time has to have passed since it was released officially. I’m not crazy about upgrading as majority of my figures would just get moving eyes. Any new accessories or heads might just grab on eBay if I want them badly.

I love the outlook here Keco. As a newer collector, I am personally thrilled at the rate of 2.0s. Especially in the world of Batman, as he is my absolute favorite character. I don't pull the trigger on many older figures as the asking prices are so high I can't justify them. So when something like the Bane 2.0 comes along, I'm happy to add them to my collection!

I remember when DX09 had a 2.0. Im glad I kept my original one. Because the new faceplates aren’t as accurate.

Good video man, glad you are back. For me 2.0 are a chance to get old figures that are way overpriced on the secundary market. And occasionally a chance to upgrade my collection if I feel a big enough step has been made. Heavy Infantry Trooper to Paz Vizla was a skip as it's barely an upgrade. 89 Batman 2.0 was actually a downgrade from DX09. But figures like the Mark 2 2.0, mark 42 2.0, and T2 Battle damaged T-800, Black Widow Artisan I felt were good enough to accept the L on the old figures (though I actually did get my money back on the DX13 T-800). While I am still building my collection I don't mind not having a figure until the 2.0 arrives. I suspect my collection is nearing completion sometime end of 2026, I will keep the 1.0 until the 2.0 actually arrives. so I am no longer stuck without any representation of that character in my collection.

Not all 2.0s are better. The 89 Batman 2.0 was the biggest disappointment ever. I'm glad I kept my DX09 in lieu of selling it.

Great to have you back! 2.0s are definitely a necessity as new technology, new material, and updated sculpts are becoming better and more accurate. As well as it is a way for the company to learn from their mistake. I wouldn't want to be spending a ton of money on a Hot Toys Xenomorph from the 2000s with a deteriorating rubber jaw when Hot Toys can release a new Xenomorph with better material.

All for 2.0's.....mainly because I missed the first releases. 😄

Some people might think 2.0s are a rip off to make more money. Other's it's a 2nd chance on a figure or grail they missed out on. It's a debatable domain. The trouble is, there's no way of knowing for sure there will be a 2.0 of this particular figure so people (like myself) just go ahead and buy this figure because they can't wait and they are so hyped for it.

You updated and re-issued your opinion on reissues! But still you damn influencers are all the same, well apart from what your favourite figures are, and what figures should be made next, and who the better companies are, and whether or not you do reviews, and where you buy your figures, and whether or not to use payment plans, and what the best cases are, and what the best lighting is, and how to rig that lighting, and how many figures to display on each shelf, and whether or not you should keep your boxes, and now whether or not 2.0s are a good idea, but other than all of that you're all the same!

2.0s I want to be announced: Falcon from Civil War with no joints. Clean T-800. AND GUARDIANS 1! Reissues I want: War Machine Mk3. Iron Man Mk45. Jyn Erso Imperial Disguise 2.0 that took me by surprise: Batfleck cause that universe was already dead and I had just gotten his justice league figure because I didn't think they'd make him again but of course, Batman always sells. 2.0 that I think people have a right to be angry about: Chrome Mando cause Beskar had just released. 2.0s I'm a little worried about: Batfleck. Will that suit break if I so much as bend the arm past 90 degree? Scarlet Witch Endgame: The sculpt looks good but it's not making me think it's better than WandaVision or MOM. And the coat. Is that pleather? Black Suit Tobey, other than what Nick and Ryan have pointed out, I HATE THAT NECK BULGE. Iron Spider - NECK BULGE.

I enjoyed episode 2 of the new season, loving the refreshed Keco so far! Since I just started collecting about 5 years ago, I don't have most of the original 1.0 figures so getting the 2.0 figures at retail is working for me. The only reason to upgrade any of my figures is damaged 1.0s. If you don't have them side by side, you should still enjoy your 1.0

What I really want is a new hope artisan Leila.

2.0’s are a necessary evil as technology improves so does the quality of the product. If the 2.0 looks like a huge improvement I sell the old one after the announced and hope to break even. I put a NRD on the new one with went I earned. This is a norm in collecting from Kenners, Hasbro, Matchbox, to Video games. It’s part of the hobby.

Happy to see you back again. The problem is that there will still be toy collectors who are only doing it to "make a huge buck". All toy collectors must understand that this hobby is there to fulfill your interests and happiness, that's why its called "hobby and interest". If one collects just hoping to make a good profit then they couldn't be more wrong.

I've recently been wanting the new statues of Deadpool & Wolverine, another is just Wolverine alone. I've personally been wanting the Avatar statues from both Sideshow and Hot Toys, but I get confused by the two. Also other companies like Prime 1 Studio and Infinity Studio. Any help?

I'd like to see $60 1/12 line that is very true to scale and not making every one a generic 6 inches. At 1/12 each inch represents one foot and a six inch black widow is wild when standing near to or worse next to a six inch figure who should be taller.

Hey hey. I'm currently building my own display. I'm using similar shelves but with metal shelves (covering in felt adhesive) but I'm curious about your acrylic panels. Did you do get the black boarder added by the company or did you do the vinyl black tape?
