At least 2 years ago, before seeing your great videos, I just entered 'No Change' to all of the questions. I got rejected and had to appeal. I did eventually get it. They hope that'll you'll be so beaten that you'll give up.

I had my P.I.P claim declined at the beginning of February this year. I cannot walk more than 20 metres without sitting down as I had cancer in covid and was not allowed out or mix with people so I never recovered and I am always out of breath so I use a rolator to walk with so the declined my claim because of my rotator.

Thank you for your video, it's still helping many of us, many months after this was released. I was really overwhelmed the 1st time I watched but I found the helpful people at Benefits and Work were saying exactly the same things as you, so watched it a 2nd time and filled out my PIP review sections whilst listening to you talk about the same section and completed the form. I am autistic and found this benefit very traumatising last time to say the least. I had to go to tribunal last time after nearly a year of fighting for PIP whilst bereaving my Nan who passed away in the pandemic, so this review brought all that pain and intense anxiety back. My mental health was pretty stable before the review form was sent. It really feels like the process especially tries to catch us autistics out, as even those of us who can be more independent rely on prompts for a lot of everyday things to actually happen. The tribunal asked me very specific questions which was really helpful but the assessors as you say don't do this, the whole benefit really sets us up to fail and is openly hostile and that is everything wrong with PIP, it needs to look at people's needs neutrally and wholistically. The high success rate of tribunals proves how broken it is. I have a lot of needs and the criteria was nearly impossible to align with them, luckily I met a welfare advisor who really knew his stuff and as you call it the "PIP Language", it shouldn't be this way though. I had indefinite DLA many years before this, so it never made any sense that PIP made it so hard. Literally went from 0 points to Enhanced daily living and standard mobility at the tribunal! Didn't even get it the first time (this current award was my 2nd attempt to get PIP), nothing changed then and nothing changed now but at least I know my rights now. Also somehow got LCWRA 1st time based on the papers just before PIP in 2021 too. Anyway, completed the form now but just wish I knew someone who could quickly look over it before sending it.

I don't know if anyone will read this but if anyone can advise I would appreciate it. I don't have a clue how it all works but basically I had polymyalgia for 4 years and I have severe social anxiety, OCD and CPTSD which prevents me from leaving the house. The polymyalgia has now gone so after my last assessment last month they have reduced my money by £600 a month. Is that right do you think?

I got Covid in March 2020 and have been bed-bound with Long Covid with breathing problems and chronic severe fatigue for 70% of the time ever since. I have been turned down for PIP 3 times and my appeal was rejected. I think the 30% of my life when I am semi OK, is was what they took as my norm. I am applying again, but will do it differently this time and just talk about my 70% where my legs can't hold me up and my arms can't hold my phone.

I get that your trying to help people Charlie.but have u not thought of all the people who shouldnt be claiming any kind of disability benefit.As far as I can see after watching some of your posts.what your doing is pointing out loop holes for the undeserving to get away with fraud.l think that your hearts in the right place.But the snakes and fakes will take advantage of what your saying.

I have eye conditions and I'm on the Visually Impaired Registar and my conditions effect everything I do and yet according P.I.P I don't qualify for it as they don't award it for just having bad eyesight as if all I have to do is wear some specs and everything will be fine. Funny because I still have to use a white cane and wear special anti glare glasses when I'm out because I'm photo sensitive to sunlight.

I was under the impression that you could not claim PIP after you had reached retirement age. I am due to retire in less than 3 months and after watching this video am really worried that they may try to stop mine. I have had no notification to that effect so hopefully I'll be okay but I have a much better idea of what to do if it happens thanks to this video. I agree that the state pension is nowhere near enough. I have worked for 50 years paying my taxes, national insurance etc. And the government reward me with a pension that equates to half the minimum wage! If a company tried to pay me so little they would be prosecuted! I noticed that another person on here had their telephone interview cancelled at very short notice due to the assessor going off sick. The exact same thing happened to me so is this a tactic they are using to scare people from going ahead with their claim?

Hello all, I found Charlie AFTER i had put my form in for PIP, finally had my phone assessment last month and dreading it, i watched all of Charlies videos made a list of bullet points for each issue i have, everyone was telling me that everyone usually fails and you have to do a mandatory reconsideration, i even printed off lots of paperwork to write it all up and help me. So i was VERY SHOCKED this morning to get a letter in the post telling me i HAD been awarded PIP at the standard rate for daily living needs until May 2027 BUT i was also awarded standard rate for mobility needs as well!! I wasn't expecting that at all, i only missed out on enhanced for daily living by 2 points. I have to go see my spinal consultant tomorrow for new MRI results so i may consider appealing depending on what happens but at the moment i am just in shock! Preserve and never give up, follow Charlies advice and ask for help if needed, i found another website with guides and it was very useful, if you believe you need help then do it, NEVER GIVE UP.

The first I knew I’d passed the medical was when my money stopped I appealed and then one day 7 months later I had a large payment into my account and I had had my money reinstated I still haven’t had any communications from dwp but as the person doing the medical had got nasty as he’d missed a whole page out (the one that affected me ) and I pointed this out he had systematically gone through the forms and crossed out what he had previously written and said the direct opposite I think some one with a brain had seen this and knew they didn’t have a leg to stand on

With bank accounts being monitored, from what I've been reading its giving the DWP the powers to monitor peoples accounts, like for means tested benefits rather is more about rather than them suspecting fraud and then getting the rights to look into someones account, its more about them knowing from the get go. With a trial thats happened in least one area (possibly more infact I think a few were trialling this) they found some 10s of thousands of people fraudulently claiming benefits. They just won't have the time to go through a persons bank account looking at every single entry, its more of a summary.

Good advice Charlie I will be getting my state pension on my birthday 11th June and my ESA will stop I was awarded enhanced PIP for both backdated from November and this started in February for 10 years so I have ordered and motorbility car that is coming in July so I think I am safe for now I have you to thank, and myself for studying and practicing so if you want to get PIP and deserve it you have to put the work in study and practice watch Charlie's videos and over then you will win good luck all and thank again Charlie you are amazing 🤗♥️

I filled in my renewal form just over a year ago, may 2023. Two weeks ago i received a text message from DWP to say they had now come to a decision, which i will receive on Wednesday 5th june 2024. Is it normal to get a decision, without even speaking to a claiment, they haven't rang me, sent for a medical, (last time i had to have 3), no home visit, nothing. Do they normally make their decision based on the form that i have filled in, I really dont have a good feeling about this, not slept, eaten or anything since the text message 😢, I will be 56 September 2024

I'm 60 and due for a review this August but haven't had my form yet. I've being told that there is a backlog of up to 12 months from another channel. I had a stroke in December 2018 but was awarded enhanced PIP on both rates in August 2014, if they take me off PIP and expect me to repay any money from August 2024 until the date they try and take me off PIP then it will put me back on benefits as my savings would fall well below £16,000.

Im sixty four and after two and s half years the secretary of state has admitted I should have been awarded pip at the UtT they have also stated the award should be ongoing. The reliability criteria is a legal framework. The DWP cant refuse anyone who fails to meet the reliability criteria.

I'm currently on DLA (higher rate for both)but have been dreading the change over to PIP for years. I'm 72 and on DLA for 11 years after struggling to get it for years. My problem is that I'm really not fit to fill in any forms. I have the added issue of being phone phobic and having situational mutism. I really need an advocate. I'm physically disabled with mental health issues, including CPTSD, chronically ill with fibromyalgia, CFS and musculoskeletal issues and other conditions, am diagnosed autistic and waiting for an ADHD diagnosis too. I'm immunosuppressed due to having Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma (I've had chemotherapy and 2 years maintenance immunotherapy too but it's only treatable not curable.) I spend most of my time in bed and only go out for medical appointments or rarely to see friends and family. People tell me that I shouldn't worry because they *can't* refuse my PIP claim but I've heard such horror stories. I don't need this hanging over my head.

No change is just about the worst thing you can write or your care assistant write. They trigger them to do a review and that means less points or a kick off if they do a phone or video interview. People coming into pension age are ripe to to target and get their £80 bonus. A good idea is to get blank forms and fill them in as a personal template ready. However with Sunak and Starmer about to adjust the PIP goalposts again we don’t know what kick off plans they have in the pipeline. However forewarned is forearmed get your answers ready filled. Listen to Charlie’s videos on the common trick questions and how to emphasise that there are no good days and that they’re always bad but some slightly better. Example: how many days in a 7 day period are good days? Answer : zero …… add maybe one Ok day in a 7 month period. Spin out the interviews with waffle they they have a maximum time limit which once gone they will to grab another claimant to try and demote and get that £80 kick off fee. Record everything with several devices including one with a cassette style tape if you can. Be ready for the tribunal court… mandatory consideration is a fine Lott at which they always agree with the bogus health professional Atos Maximus provide. Do that as quickly as possible but get tribunal rolling ASAP. Worryingly courts in America have been obviously bent and the UK tribunals at this time appear to be on the level however it doesn’t look good and the kanga banana judges and justices may be making their debut here soon.
