    WHO AM I:
My name is Charlie and I am disabled. I live with chronic illness, I have a severe form of Psoriatic Arthritis and its crap! I am in pain all the time and always battling fatigue. BUT, I will not let it win. I love to learn and to laugh (even though it hurts my arthritic rib cage LOL). You will often see Ollie (she) my black Labrador. She is currently my trainee assistance dog! We are together, literally ALL the time.
As there are a number of awful people who target us - the vulnerable - here is a link to my personal LinkedIn account. You can literally see the past 25+yrs of my career, people who have recommended me (as a Logistician as Disability Specialist is very new for me).

Hi, I LOVE your comment. You are right, its not that they do not deserve it......its that it was not worded right.

Hey Richard!!! I have done another FULL claim and a REVIEW that I am going to edit and I think will go live er.....I might bring them forward (I have videos scheduled for a while) but I think these are going to be really good.
So, some weeks there might be 2......and I am going to cut back on consultancy as I really want to be able to film some more about:
      - Pain management
      - Tips to improve quality of life
      So excited for 2024!
I hope you are as ok as possible and you have the best day possible!
      Merry Christmas!!!!
      Charlie
P.S I tried to be normal since I have been off (21st was last day of work) so I have sat on a sofa for 3 days (I do not normally do this, its my desk or bed). I was trying to spend time with my mum........fcuk me....my hip pain is really high....so I am up at 0300 not for santa....due to pain damn it.....so less time on the sofa....which is ok as we save movies to watch at Christmas!!!
Really hope you are ok as you wrote this really late....hope you are not in too much pain

@@CharliesJourney , A friend of mine has fybro, chronic fatigue and bursitis so I can relate to the pain, sleep problems and relaxing... she can be laid up for days.
My pain varies, but its constant and the tramadol, paracetomol and ibuprofen help, I was on naproxin but during the first month I was urinating blood, so I asked to come off them pretty quick.
I hope you have an enjoyable day, I am spending it with family myself (mum, her fella and uncle). Take care and I'll keep my eyes peeled for more vids.

I have copd, diverticulitis, I had sepsis and actually died and was resuscitated,I have a colostomy bag(which does leak occasionally )and a massive hernia made worse due to medical negligence, I’ve suffered ptsd (partly due to a wrong cancer diagnosis partly due to the treatment I received) insomnia and depression, I get lower rate pip, and should have had the higher rate but the expert medical examiner decided otherwise I appealed but didn’t get anywhere, and had to give up as it was affecting my mental health, I’ve become a recluse virtually since 2019, and am still awaiting surgery,

I asked for a second opinion before I had foley and was denied so can I reapply and update them? Or do I write a second letter to them? I have ms,fibromyalgia and spinal injuries. Please can you advise me ? Katie x

I’ve also discovered that motion activated lighting in disabled toilets, yes even the ones in hospitals, only last until you reach the toilet, you are then plunged into darkness, and I end up hopping about with a soiled nappy round my ankles trying to get the light back on 🤬🤬🤬

Hi, have you had a look at the points? If you are able to managed this yourself, without aids.....even though it must be awful for you, it would result in no points.
But, I would expect this to result in points regarding:
      - Engaging with people
      - Planning and following a journey
      I hope this helps

Toileting probs. Due to nerve damage in my hands I'm unable to hold toilet paper and wipe properly. The best I can do is to wrap my hands in paper like a mitten and press and dab. If I'm 'loose' then it always smears over my fleash and contaminates my front area. That gives me urinary infections. My fingers and thumbs don't work as to hold toilet paper properly. (Try wiping your bum with mittens on...its just like that). Im 70 and I had to use my life savings pensions pot to pay for the cost to remodel my home to create a wetroom and a raised bidet plus put new drains in (as there were no drains where the wet room and bidet needed to go). Social Services refused to fund the remodel for the layout I needed. They only offered a walk in shower in an inconvenient place and no bidet or new drains. The only way I can clean myself is to sit on a bidet and soak my bottom. The Japanese type loo seats that wash and dry don't help as I need to sit and soak the smudged mess off. All those silly poo sticks to clean are useless. Wrong size and not bendy enough and a faff to apply paper if one has disabled hands. We all have to devise our own way to clean ourselves as non-disabled bureaucrats who make the rules have no idea. Theyre all bloody Idiots!

I’m applying for adult disability payment which is similar I have stomach pain made worse by anxiety and joint pain I have a syndrome that causes the stomach and joint pain called hyper mobility but the name of the syndrome doesn’t suggest that and I know the “ medical professionals” employed don’t need to know anything about the conditions they’re assessing. I need to use a hot water bottle all the time to help manage the pain in my joints and stomach and lie down a lot or I’ll faint. I spend a lot of time lying down in bed or sitting down and often don’t have the energy to move. I’m embarrassed to say this and don’t want to include it on the application if it isn’t relevant but I use the toilet too much getting through 1 - 2 rolls a day as one person. am I likely to get any points
