Yeah, J's own opinion on X6 has... changed. But Trav, understandably, sees the game as worse than X7. But that's mostly because he grew up with X5 and considered it one of his favorites.

I grew up with X2 so I’m biased. X2 starts out a lot quicker than X1. X1 is more innovative, but X2 is more refined. Both games are great. Overall I find X2 to be a more pleasant game and flows better than X1. I like the graphics more in X2 and it feels gentler and easier. X2’s music 🎵 isn’t as good as X1s. Regardless X1 and X2 are much better games than X3. X2 is very fun just like the NES Megaman games were.

Megaman 1-3 take the top 3 for me automatically. The series was innovative and state-of-the-art in those releases. There's also a certain darkness to them that never came back. After that it's been mostly stale or retro while still worth playing.

Megaman 2 is not just the best megaman ever, it’s one of the best games ever period. THE best soundtrack in all of gaming.

1st video of ours i have ever seen and we have such different opinions on these games. I think 9 is probably the worst game of this series. I find it to be the one i want to go back and play the least. Only one i find may be worse is 1 as the controls are not great yet in that game

I didn't feel the world Mega Man X was in was post-apocalyptic or dark until X2. As a kid, I didn't think it was a good thing, and I thought the soundtrack screeching at me was obnoxious and weird compare to a very safe, just-Megaman-but-much-better-in-everyway kind of feel like X1 was. Now looking back I appreciate it more. I like all 3 X's game, and X3 is definitely the worse, it was not bad.

did you know... the reason the buster upgrade in this game svcks is because a programming error? well, several... you see in mega man games the damage an enemy receives from a weapon is determined by a table hardcoded in the rom, index 0 is normal shot, index 1 is running shot, index 2 is half charged buster, index 3 is fully charged buster, index 4 is second buster and indexes 5 and 6 go unused. in mmx3 they recycled these tables and asigned the upgraded level buster to index 6 and spread buster to 6, BUT THEY FORGOT TO PUT THE RIGHT VALUES, thats why the regular buster does regular and the upgraded buster appears to do LESS damage, in fact, level 1 buster (the 2 smalls balls) do 0 damage to some enemies, yes, ZERO, also they f-ed up the z saber damage too, the saber was meant to be as powerful as zero s but they assigned the wrong damage index (the mmx2 shryoryken i think) and thats why the saber when used by megaman kills bosses with 2 or 1 hits but not always and not consistenly

Yep, completely agree to your review! At first I didn't like MM11 - but after taking a closer look at the gear system etc. it really is one of the best - if not THE BEST - MM Game!

After watching your review it seems like you are WAY too gracious in the favor of the game by rating it 7,5/10. Also.... covering 1/2 of the video for the STORY of a Mega Man game? Does someone really care so much for the story in those games? And that being the best thing about the game doesn't speak for it either. If a majority of (Buster) upgrades, collectibles, enemy design, level design and the fiddly "up jump" simply aren't fun and frustrating, this game just can't be "good".

Okay, 1, 2, and 3 are and always will be my personal favorites because I played them in order and loved them. Your list intrigues me though...sub +1

To touch on what you were saying about the loading mid level. It gives the stage a certain sense of disconnection if you will. Obviously old hardware was a factor but the problem remains even on todays consoles which is what bothers me.

CRIMINALLY underrated games and some of my favorite arcade games of all time.

I do find myself going back to mm 4 alot when i start missing the series. Although the orignal soundtrack for the game is not for me.. some of the music is just hard on my ears but the complete works version is totally different. I love replaying 4 with the complete works soundtrack.

It’s fun to think that somebody in the year 21XX found the blueprints for Dark Man 3, and made Vile based off of that. There’s not much to support that theory, but it’s cool to think about.

Mega Man 11 is a fan game at best. The level design is as garbage as my first Mega Man Maker levels, bullshit enemy placement and questionable platform placement. But then I got better because I learned from my mistakes. How the FUCK did we go from 9 and 10, two of the best, to this shit show? You talk about how amazing the dual gear system is and only show yourself using it once. It's garbage, a gimmick nobody remembers til they need a crutch to overcome the shit design. "Cool particle effects on buster shots" yeah I just love when everything has a bloomed out light source, especially the most essential part of the game that is now harder to calculate thanks to bloom and oarticle effects. Thanks for artificial challange yet again in the terms of "graphics". Garbage garbage garbage. Know what MM11 is better than? Mighty No 9 and that's it.

I am a diehard mega man fan. Ive been a fan of the series since Mega Man 3. Ive mastered Mega Man 1. When it comes to MMX6. I also thought of it as a lost opportunity. If the game designer had more time the product might of been better. I do agree that Aila should of explained about the lost mavericks. However, i feel like this game is so bad that its good category. Because this game is so buggy there are moments where you can make x or Zero invincible. This game reminds me that even in games as spicy as mega man. There are some rotten peppers mixed up in here. Mega Man X6 is bad but its not the most terrible but i think the worst Mega Man game is X7. When you play it you will see what i mean.
