I could smell mangoes and flowery notes in this but gave me and allergic reaction but I was fortunate enough to use it up. Never repurchased . Nordstrom is having an anniversary sale until August 4th. They have the Maison Francis Kurkdjian discovery sets for 20% off, so $220 for eight 10 ml bottles. I've only tried Grand Soir, from that fragrance house so far. I have an official sample, and I really want to buy a bigger bottle. I really want to try their oud fragrances, like the ones in this video, but they're not included in the masculine set. It does include Grand Soir, Baccarat Rouge 540 EDP, Gentle Fluidity Gold and Silver, 724, and I forget the other four. It's a decent deal per ml, though. I was thinking about ordering the 35 mL bottle of Grand Soir straight from the MFK website, and getting samples of the oud fragrances, but that would cost more by volume than the wardrobe set from Nordstrom, so it's kind of a dilemma! I've really been spending too much on fragrances lately anyway. Not that I'm broke or anything, but just like I can feel myself indulging in my impulse buying lately. I ordered a bottle of Secretions Magnifique the other day, and a few samples from that same company, even though I know it's going to smell nasty. I just ordered it because it's a novelty fragrance. I just got my first PDM bottle too.

I have an old Lyric Man (friction fit) for that zesty summery rose vibe that Silk Mood tries. I really like the Satin Mood journey, but below 17°C only 😉. The main question is: what does one want in a rose fragrance as a supporting note? Because what is a rose fragrance? Depends on what else is in it. I like the gothic rose in Rose de Russie by Tom Ford for the combo with leather…

(A brand that did it right for me for example is Acqua Di Parma, amazing marketing). I would have never gotten it if not heavily discounted. This fragrance was an AWESOME surprise!! I like it a lot, the oud/animalic does give it that interesting sophisticated twist that makes me feel great while wearing it for an intimate night out. I dont find any similarities to m7. However i find ebene fume as tom fords answer to interlude man, they give me a similar idea, ofc interlude blended better and overall higher quality and way more powerful. My resime of TF private blend is. Notoriously high price, awfully cheap presentation, cheap atomisers, boring blends and average performance. To me this brand is buried and gone. There are some offerings i do appreciate but i am a person who does not repurchase bottle ever, so i already finished with those interesting fragrances or i am close to finish my bottles.

The problem i see with all the Xerjoff is that there is minimal to no evolution at all (which is what makes them boring after a while) and they all sit on a sweet drydown which is what makes them last fairly long. I was very enthusiast about Torino 21 (i still think it's the best of the brand) but even though it's a very fresh scent, it becomes "heavy" during the day, dull perhaps. This heavyness also reflects in the medium/minimal projection in many, like Naxos (very minimal) or Alexandria and Opera. I don't think i'm going to buy more of them, unless they come out with a very interesting cologne, which is very unlikely i think. Xerjoff looks more like a royal mantle, it seems luxurious but it's actually heavy and dusty.
