Angel's share refers to the amount of an alcoholic drink (such as cognac, brandy, or whiskey) lost to evaporation when the liquid is being aged in porous barrels. The term refers to the idea that angels drink the evaporated alcohol.
Exactly, except that Angel's Share doesn't smell like that, the wonderful smell of a glass where there was a Lagavulin, not even close; it smells just like a clone of Ambre Narguile.
Fievre Verte is actually my signature scent. I bought 3 bottles!! Its criminally underrated. Fievre Verte is different from Lhuerte Verte. Its similar but there is a significant difference.
@@SeldomlyOften lhuerte verte smells more chocolaty 🍫. If you look fragrantica Fievre has more notes. Wormwood and cypress and tonka and some other notes. Literally 2 sprays last me 10 hours and still leaving a scent trail. I also keep mines in the fridge.
I always love to see a new video from you. I know you don't create this kind of content, but I would like to see a video with what perfumes you wear to the gym 💪💪💪
@@SilviuValentinMeila I might actually do something like that! My gym stuff is really unconventional and I’m often wearing weird stuff just to see how it fares in the heat 😅
I love those bottles and almost want Angels Share for that reason. Absinthe I’ve never even heard of but that line of Kilian is very popular!! You make reviews look so easy :)
They are good fragrances and sell really easily on the classifieds so they are relatively safe to buy 🙂 Talking for hours about random stuff and sounding convincing is my super power 🤣
I think with the new naming, vanilla got added in as an official note, so you're not wrong with that drydown description. To me this one is great and one of the best kilians, but the fact its so anise/licorice forward makes me think of ouzo/sambuca more than bitter wormwood forward absinthe. Maybe that's how absinthe is over here in the states, but its more bitter herbal than sweet. I'd recommend trying to look out for stora skuggan's hexensalbe for a decidedly more bitter take on this style with a less creamy drydown
@SeldomlyOften yeah they probably just changed the descriptive notes after renaming, maybe they realized that the vanilla ingredients had enough of an impact to warrant it being officially recognized haha
Never gave Killian a fair chance, After smelling Angle Share I was like "Ok, nice, NEXT!" Roses on Ice was unique! I did prefer Santal 33 from the same perfumer.
Bravo, happy to see you reviewing L’Heure Verte. It’s a long time I’m trying to get this one for a decent price but haven’t been lucky so far. I like anice absinth liquorice and find it indeed interesting and different from the usual scent. I tried Fievre Verte recently and had the feeling was slightly different, not sure. Kilians don’t perform long, I agree, and hence I wonder why to own this if you can get the liquorice opening of Amouage’s Royal Tobacco for a better price/ml: stronger, much more long lasting, incredibly complex and in my opinion on another lever in artistic perfumery. Well, I know I will end up owning both 😂
@@DA-ju3iv thanks! This is very different from Royal Tobacco 😊 It’s a gourmand, sweet, ambery thing, great smooth fragrance; RT is one of my fav frags ever but it’s not smooth 😅
@@Principemostprincipe it’s not my favorite house either but I’m trying to be objective. It’s a good brand for most people who are not searching for ultra weird stuff.

Lhuerte Verte is definitely not the same and they changed the name because they reformulated it better. Its not because of copyright.
