This house sounds so interesting to me and I have the cherry sample (from your recommendation I think months ago!). You have a good one from Electimuss! Electimuss is on my radar and in my next video :) I have two and the discovery set too!
I have the big 20 fragrance sample set from Electimuss, there are LOTS that I really like. The other bottle I have is Cupid's Kiss, really good one also.
@ I have that same discovery set but it takes me a long time to experience them so a video on that will take TIME! I have Vixere and Vici Leather but was looking at one of their patchouli frags and cupids kiss!! There is an oud one that everyone says smells like FD’s The Moon 🌙 I’m impressed and here I can get great deals
Can we have a top marine fragrances ranking? Since you don't like to have redundancy in your collection so it'll be interesting to know how you dealt with it considering this genre can get redundant.
@@armoghana6129 I did not smell nearly enough for a complete list. Yes, there is some redundancy but you can find differences in the nuances. My 3 options are all very different 🙂
I love Lorenzo Pazzaglia. I'm quite new to the house and the chaos, impulsive nature of his fragrances cut through the pretentious nonsense of so many fragrance houses not just designer houses but many niche houses are becoming pretentious houses like his and Kerosene in the US are like a breath of fresh air. I only have 4 fragrances from the house currently with one on the way but I'm working through the discovery set and drawing up a shortlist which currently stands at 6 and growing. I would love to get my hands on a bottle of Ficus in Fabula but alas I'm to late to the party to snag this limited edition, but I love the fragrance from the discovery set.
@SeldomlyOften my top 2 so far are Esco Pazzo and Van Py Rhum, but both Extreme Passion and Evil Angel are not too far behind that's all I have full bottles of, I've not had a dud yet but that's the benefit of getting the discovery set, as there aren't many decanters out there who stock any of their fragrances.
Great presentation as usual. Ive been stuck trying to figure out which one of these L Pazzaglia fragrances to grab first. Dream Sea, Black Sea, Artik Sea and Vampyrum have been kind of circling the drain for a while. Also, great lighting and video quality, Im still trying to figure out how to get it right.
@@Frag-Jitsu I actually think the most unique from the Sea line is Dream Sea, my personal fav is Artik Sea. I film with my phone, I just got the settings right 😉
This one is an absolute beast! And I think I am going to buy it, but after my Megamare empties out (they are not that alike though). I still have a paper strip inside my wallet for over two weeks ago and you can smell it as it were sprayed two hours ago. I did not like much Arctic Sea, and Sex Sea I did like it a lot but I need to try it again. While Megamare is a Kraken in the deep sea, Black Sea is like Aquaman in the Black cold sea, near the arctic. Although they both work in summer and spring. I need to try Aqua di Sale, but they do not sell the brand in my country. Another one I wanna try is the new Adam & Eve from Lorenzo Pazzaglia, which appears to be a green fragrance comparable to Phylosykos.
Way more wearable than Megamare. But definitely built in a similar direction with respect to the perfumer's take on freshness. I remember trying a few Lorenzo Pazzaglia, and most of them dried to a couple of distinct bases. The fresher perfumes (atktic sea, black sea) I feel like they are built around a calone accord, while others I feel like they have some sort of woody vanilla base. Even Sun-gria, to my nose, dries down as such.
PS: I like Electimuss, as well. Although, I should say, I got a bit tricked by the fact I ran into this brand while abroad, in full blown winter, and those scents do smell different where I live, I Cyprus, in much hotter weather. Regardless, I find them to be high quality, and to my nose, they are very similar to Boadicea with respect to the ingredients used, or the way they are blended into perfumes. I was not surprised to learn at a later time that both brands are owned by the same company.
I also have Sun Gria and I quite like it. Bloody Smoke is very different from those though... weird one. Electimuss has really surprised me, I was expecting a low quality flashy brand but the scents are SOLID
Daniel are you able to get ahold of Fischersund there? I would really love to hear your thoughts on several of their offerings and would be willing to send you some 3ml decants of their line if you can’t get them there… I love the brand and their perfumer’s unique signature style and I think it may resonate with your sensibilities.
@@Tungincheeq I absolutely love Iceland and those perfumes seem awesome. They don’t ship here and the only EU retailer that can, has everything out of stock. They are totally on my list 🙂
100% agree on Fischersund, very unique, distinctive DNA with some great smoky scents and interesting marine offerings as well. Really oddball scent profiles too that have a synthetic slant to them but may be right up your alley Daniel as they are well executed and artistic.
Unfortunately I am one of those with sensitive skin ( or nose) to marine scents, it just turns a bit rotten egg/sulphery. I’ve tried a few and even basic designer ones like ADG profundo, Chanel allure homme sport cause it. Entry level niche like ATH blue fever had the same effect. Now I’m staring at the sample of megamare thinking… am I ready to spray this on and take 30 showers after 🥲🥲🥲I am sure there’s one out there that works on me, but with the notes being ‘ozonic notes’ ‘watery notes’ and ‘salty notes’ it may take me a few years. If anyone has the same skin tendencies and found something please let me know
I get the same vibe with DG light blue intense and with Profondo, but not with Profumo. I'm gonna buy some decants of Megamare and Black sea, i'm curious if it give me the same egg vibe
They don't smell 1:1 the same but I do feel you get kind of similar characteristics from this. It really depends what you are looking for in a fragrance and how much you like marine smells. I would rather go with Artik Sea.
Will any of the fragrances you list as options in all of your videos eventually get a standalone review or only some? Also, what are your top 3 year round signature/versatile fragrances of all time?
@@maalyraw9818 every bottle I own will eventually get a review, unless I absolutely hate it (in which case I’ll never feature it as an option). That question is a really hard one, I need to think about it as I’m totally not the guy to go for signature frags 😅

Gret way to put it, it's a fantastic scent that is very exciting, just not sure it's for me as I have many marine fragrances.
