You Don't Want Precise Splitters in Satisfactory
Просмотров 56 тыс.3 месяца назад

How to Build a Truck Route in Satisfactory | Setup Automation Guide
Go for upload speed, not storage. You will need such big amounts that the amount in there is not important. What is important is that if you build a blueprint and connect it, in that time the storage is full again
1.0 has 150 Mercer spheres.
Definitely don’t get the inventory upload upgrade first or even within the first 5 upgrades. You rarely need to store extra items in your inventory, but you almost always will run out of items when making a large build.
I think aluminum is the most complex loop to set up in the game. The byproducts are a pain in the ass I eventually just switched to sinking all of the excess water to wet concrete instead of feeding it back to the same loop Nuclear byproducts are pretty easy to handle. Tedious, but easy
Honestly implementing a ratio splitter in a useful way would be super straight forward. Don't try to use actual item/min values, but just attach a value to each output which determines how many items are sent out that output before moving on to the next one
No, it is needed if you have a central storage for project assembly and want to send precise number of items to the space elevator by belt rather than inventory. Without it you'll have to keep deleting belts due to the overflowed amount no matter if have a sink.
I think it is time for an update here. One can now process the nuclear waste to zero waste. But it is a long process...
hypertube cannon solve everything
As much as i love the power storage. It makss it hard to manage power. I had 2 full charges units and i never noticed that my power production was not enought. And my factory quite actually ran off batteries for a day. Then i redid my power grid 💀👍
I'm a big fan of a hybrid approach. The only thing that makes the game challenging is logistics, so that's what I optimize for. In practice that mostly means that I'll produce core items on-site if that makes them easier to transport, but everything else has a place in the megafactory. For example, aluminium is produced at the bauxite source, copper ingots are brought to the megafactory, and screws are produced on an on-demand basis for specific production lines.
The power storage units saved my factory once, as I accidentally removed a connection between factories and power generators without noticing, so my other factories over consumed the available power. Without the storage units my energy system would have collapsed, but with them I got some additional time to find the issue and fix it.
Unfortunately so much of this information is obvious to the devs but is not passed on to ther player IN GAME! The game forces you to stop playing it to go browse how top do something
Don't ratio splitters already exist in-game? Granted, you have to build them out manually (and hope all your ratios are powers of two and three), but still.
Yeah, that is true, except for particular weird scenarios.
Hey do you know if Satisfactory is getting on sale the 21 nov to 28 nov for black friday sale?
I would have no way of knowing that if it's not already public info, sorry.
does anyone of you guys use the fluid buffer and yes for what reason?
0:28 start
Good tips! Frame around conveyor was a good one!
They've removed the nuclear waste from the list of drops for the doggo.
see me personally i have ways of getting around this because i only load balance because my brain wants everything to be perfect, numbers and looks, like when i made my motor farm to make 20 per minute, i had a belt of steel of 306.92/min and the first part i need off of it was 180 so i just used a mk2 belt and a mk1 belt then merged those and the excess went along to get 180 because those tier belts are limited to their set things, and then next i had 126.92 left and i need to split that into 50 and 76.92 so i took a mk 1 belt and a mk 2 into a splitter and the mk 1 will be at 60/min so then i split that 3 times and merged 2 of those lines so thats 40/min and the other 20/min i split that and merged that into both lines so 40+10= 50 and 66.92+10= 76.92. And then also i need to take 1000 screws a min and because i only had up to mk4 belts which only held 480/min i used 4 mk 3 belts holding 250 then i put those into splitters to get 12 sets of 1/3 then merged sets of 2 for each 1/3 to get 6 lines of 2/3rd's to get around my belt limit issue, so you never really need a precise splitter to do what you need, there is always a way. I also do all my builds with sandwhich layers to hide my belts so i gotta learn to do all that in a gap about 3 studs tall.
That is another way to do it! Balancers like that do take up space, which is a major criticism, but I think it's more fun to do this kind of math.
Will we get the option to get automated the biomass with machines who harvest leaves and trees?
Can we have a survival game mode kind like in the game The Rift Breaker with a robot suid, guns automatic weaponized tower, fences and aliens who attak and demolish the base and we need to defend our factorys. travel between planets with new ressources etc There would be so much potential in this game, this would be great. After Tier 5 when the spaceship is build its getting boring. why i cant travel with this ship to another planet with more alien activity?
i need a doggo army
Water geyser and thero generators, are the most useless imo
I bet the nuclear wasting is a reference to Let's game it out
My argument would be that Upload Speed is better than Storage Space. Likely you've got a container before the depot, meaning that you have a buffer for the material going to the cloud. If you're away from your base building something and you run out of the 5 stacks of a material that you need, it's gonna be a slow drag getting it to fill up to a usable amount again. But if you've got full upload speed and only 1 stack, that stack will refill at a pace that can almost keep up with your build speed. So if you're building at 4/s and run out after you've exhausted your stacks, you can either wait 8s or 1s depending on if you prioritized storage or speed. Likely, the best overall approach is still going to be a balance 😄
"Let's look at the wrong answer first!" THEMS FIGHTING WORDS. *sees the wrong way* Yeah that's 100% the wrong way. Everybody knows you split one belt into 3 and each of those into 3 for 9 outputs for only 4 splitters instead of 7 confusing splitters for only 8 outputs. If it ain't spaghetti it ain't art. (Just kidding. Do what you want)
"Beware they can bring you nuclear waste" Josh from Let's Game It Out: Or they can help you get rid of it....
long leggy boi
Personally, I just make creatures non hostile in the gameplay settings. Combat was just distracting imo
I did the same for my 1.0 playthrough. I just want to vibe.
This is really, really awesome! Great vlog, with even better people!
OBSERVATION TOWER: Once you get the rebar gun, you can snipe mobs from the tower. I deploy it fairly close to allow me to run and climb the ladder before the mob closes the distance to me. This is good for clearing landmarks. The tower can also function as a stand-off build platform or be used to access elevated areas.
I do both, all at the same time... half the resources are 1k plus meters away because their nodes are pure or normal and the ones directly on the base are impure
I feel bad for the Circuit Break Priority tab. It seemed anxious anytime it was on screen. Poor thing.
I can say a ratio splitter would be best for one area. Coal power. Hear me out, in the west edge of the stony desert there is an area with 4 coal nodes, a great place for coal power, one mk2 miner on an impure node gives 60 and there are 2. 8 coal plants need 120 coal per minute. But oh no with max clocking you are missing 60 coal and it takes 3 water extractors to power 8 plants, so problem
my brain hurts
Only just started playing a week ago and built my first actual building last night, and this is a fantastic tip. Will definitely be doing this from now on.
Programmable splitters should definetly be here
True. VERY niche. I personally use them with trucks, as I tend to load up trucks with small amounts of multiple materials. So having a programmable splitter to sort those materials when they get dropped off is nice, although technically a series of smart splitters will accomplish the same thing.
As a beginner, I was approximately load balancing. Later, I discovered manifolds were actually working if you wait long enough. Now, I'm in post game, and I went back to load balancers and ratio splitters. Why ? Just because it looks better when nothing is clogged anywhere :)
Don't forget that Doggos are a great way for permanently getting rid of Nuclear Waste, just ask Josh!
If modding isn't an issue what anyone. Try using a mod called " load balancer". It's very good for effective splitting and merging
If you max our uranium you will be limited by SAM or Nitrogen.
#JusticeForKonstantKonrad
Or just download mods like Infinite Nudge and Curves xD
Also true! Since not everyone uses mods, I choose not to talk about them in videos like this, and just focus on the vanilla game. It's easier for me that way when writing the video 😛
power storage is super useful when at nuclear power, especially if the waste backs up for any specific reason.
answer me this? WHY AM I BUILDING A 40 MILLION MWH BATTERY
Compensating for something
Compensating for his lack of building skill
You're not good at placing load balanced splitters, ive been playing this game for a couple of years now, i only use manifold if it involves just and handful of machines. I dont like the manifold, if something happens and it falls behind that can make a lot fall behind. If you have 18 refinery's tuned to take exactly 1200 ore on a manifold, that can create an annoyance. I have 36 on a balanced that uses less space behind the machines than the mess you created. Balanced is absolutely the best when it comes to loading. Each splitter splits every load in half, so that can cause problems on a manifold. For example, If you are running more ore to the machines then what they are needing, then it's not much of a big deal. But if it needs exactly what the miner can extract, one hickup can cause an annoyance. I created compact balanced loading methods and hybrid manifold/blance loading methods. And they are clean looking. But i just have to disagree with manifold. This is for lazy people. Not having space is an excuse, the world is huge, there is plenty of space if you really want to drag a belt 50 ft between each splitter.
No matter how you build, you need to connect the dependency graph one way or another. This leads me finding that building according to the shape of dependencies is the best way.
I always kill bean
I’m mass produced fabric so I can automate filters. Definitely helpful for late game!
What I did was feed multiple items onto 1 belt (8-10 different items) so it's 1 line going in, a manifold smart splitter system that will filter items into the production, an overflow system for the smart splitters at the production line, and then the overflow system takes all secondary items to storage. once it hits storage I did the same smart splitter manifold system with overflow, and if it fills up at the storage it gets sinked off. Production > storage > sink . this enabled 100% of my machines to always be producing, the only shortfalls are supply (which i can increase), none of the lines are EVER backed up, and i generate tickets like crazy. it's all about how it's managed, but a stopped belt is a non-producing belt.
