Good Video :) Here is a tip for making a S-Curve Usally I start with a double L-shaped foundation like: 1. Pillar --> 5 Foundations in front --> Pillar --> 5 Foundations to the Right --> Pillar --> 5 Foundations in front --> Pillar 2. I delete everything except the first and last Pillar as well as the Middle Foundation of the whole Construct (3. Foundation from the 5 Foundations to the right) 3. I turn a Foundation 45 degrees on top of this Middle Foundation and go out like 2 or 3 more to come close to the Pillars 4. Rest is putting Beams in Freeform-Mode and nudge the Foundation to create a Curve - do the same on the other Side and you have a S-Curve
@being47 I'm currently using 21 mods, not one of them blocked achievements. I just don't pick those considered as cheats, but in my opinion none of mods installed with Satisfactory Mod Manager will break them.
To make a different texture to walls, use the 1m versions. The 1m versions don't have the indented surface texture of the 2 and 4m versions and allow creating a cleaner look.
Cannot recommend the Infinite Nudge mod enough for this. Even if you what to play purely vanilla, this one mod will help you painlessly nudge them to your heart's content.
Thank you. Thank you for the inspiration, thank you for the artistic imagination and thank you very 🤬🤬🤬ing much for my coughing fits born of laughter with your commentary 😊🤣 however, I'm now happily investigating some different directions 🤓 Oh yes, my laughter / coughing fits have totally annoyed the Cat 😖
Yo, thanks for the shout-out dude. I've done a guide on how to build those pillars at the end of my latest video on my RUclips channel if you want to see how I did it as there are two different methods to get smooth and ridged pillar.
Oh nice! Didn't know you had a RUclips! I will check that out. Really liked your design, it made me immediately want to reverse-engineer your ideas, haha.
FICSMAS is a lot of fun, but it can be a grind, as you need to research a lot of things and set up some serious production lines, although the materials are pretty similar. Ultimately, you don't get anything - it's just for fun and to get some silly Christmas cosmetics. I have an old video from the event 4 years ago if you want to get spoiled! ruclips.net/video/PK7jXorFEC0/видео.html
I only made it until 2:30 in this video before I learned a tip that I haven't heard before. I never knew I could right click a material to change everything on my current hotbar. That's neat!
My personal tip: If something looks not good, play around with signs in glossy mode. It'll loke twice as good instantly
So true. I love emissive signs.
Good Video :)

Great tips :) As for curves, there's new mod available allow to switch to "curve mode" when building foundations.
Will this mod affext achievements?

@@mdradek nice. I will try them then

But the grid alignment 😡😡😡
True! Good tip! It does mean you'll have a higher item count, but most players will never reach the limit anyways.
@@SatisfactoryNews I use it more for trims or breaks in smaller walls. Don't use it on larger builds.

That's not a bad shoutout! I personally don't use any mods but that one sounds useful without breaking the game.
Don't even get me started on the hoops I had to jump through to align an extra wide sign with the 4m slope foundations 💀
I've been trying to do this for a while and was never able to figure it out.

@SatisfactoryNews Thanks! Well I'm always happy to share but I know alot of the fun is to figure it out. Thanks again for the shout-out
I didn't know you could put swatches into the hotbar. As for curves, I know 4 different methods
Haha yeah, curves are a deep rabbit hole! Just wanted to cover a couple basics here.
Do you have design teaching tutorials?
I don't have anything specific. There are much better builders out there!
@SatisfactoryNews thanks anyway. Anything I should know about Ficsmas? It's my first time

Nudge mode don't move things by 1meter
How so?
@@Zn0ZY it moves it by 20% of the pioneer height 😁
@Zn0ZY nit all structures move by 1m some of them move more some of them move less then 1m
@@Tomcom666 well it looks the same on the blueprint grid, and I believe some buildables just look off grid but their "hitbox" is still on the grid
In Russia army we saying "what is uniform is not ugly". It sounds better in russian (что однообразно то не безобразно). 😊
Where is my news for satisfactory 2.0 ... I thought this was the satisfactory news channel 😆
Great video learned new stuff
I was joking a while ago that I'd need to change the name after 1.0, lol 😂
@@SatisfactoryNews now it's a brand keep it ... was joking too 😝
