First I've seen your vids and i was glued to this although I've only sea fished , I am a nervous wreck with that water flowing so fast it looked like no-one else on the planet to help if you become I'll and slipped. Im grateful for your kindness to the fish but try being more kind to yourself (one roll) not enough for the work you do. Im so hungry tonight i just about bit your fingers of when the roll got closer😅 Anyways, thanks for the entertainment absolutely smashing.

Another cracking session on the cod Dave like the last few sessions you have found the cod some beauties with the odd coalie aswell. I've been wanting to get out but work and family commitments come first, I've got pulley rigs using the trident components which are fab. I've done a couple of dongle rigs with the knotless knot to try and my main pulley rigs I've put an imp into the termalink on one end, on the other termalink I've put a fast change link, onto that I've put on a koike 5/0 circle instead of tying the perfection loop, then take a piece of 150Ib mono thread on a double crimp make the loop and place over the hook pull the loop down and crimp, take another double crimp and do same again to make the loop that fits onto your imp once you have the size dongle you want I just want to try them to see if they work and give a perfect hookup. Keep the videos coming Dave awesome footage and some cracking fish, roll on the EOBC 2025 if your going with Gary I'll probably see you there m8 tight lines 👍🎣🎣🎣

Nice video! I’ve been fishing along the North East coast near Newcastle, and for the past two months, it’s been almost constant offshore wind with barely any onshore wind. I’ve tried fishing from cliffs, piers, and low-water rock marks, but there’s been little to no sign of fish. With the fish seeming so thinly spread out, how are you still managing to catch cod in these conditions? Do you think there’s something specific drawing them in, or are they just harder to find this season? I'd really appreciate your thoughts-thanks!

Nice one Davey 👍 gotta watch those freak waves only a few days ago 2 guy were on a mark near Montrose and they were told to come of ignoring the warning right after one of them got hit chest high with a wave picking him up and flung him in the gully behind apparently breaking a leg or ankle and sucked right in to the washing machine of the north sea apparently the guys mate was more interested in saving his gear as his pall was drowning and a herculean effort from the guy who gave the warning he would have drowned he some how got hold of him and put him self in grave danger the coast guard and helicopter on the way by this time but he was already out the water thanks to that guy ,, crazy stuff and definitely user error,, cheers 👍🎣

I ended up there last night just after dark had set it and the rain had stopped so just missed you, but fortunately it had lifted a bit by then and as yous mentioned to big to fish. It's about an hours drive for me so we stuck it out and tried a few places but no luck

Great video David. Good to see Garry and yourself getting amongst them. I was rather intrigued to see you pull a Doggie out. In all the years I have lived and fished in the North east(And I`m not saying how many) I have never caught a Dogfish on home turf! The closest I have caught them is on trips to Bridlington and the Holderness coast. Still you never know what will turn up when you are sea fishing.

All the shit that got dredged out of the Tees has wrecked you sea life over the years.

I'm going next week to fish beadnell beach that's Nov 27 any advice we're about on the beach is advised,I know this is a older video, I'm coming up from Manchester .any advice will be great regards Paul
