The Hounds are in on the holderness, loads of Doggies ( VERRY WELCOME for me ) and a few Raymond's in-between the crap weather. Had a fantastic session on Saturday

Mission accomplished skipper, a nice red codling, bites and fish on and unfortunately lost. Never a wasted session in such beautiful surroundings mate most enjoyable and thanks for the technical tips etc, tight lines as always.
Cheers John glad you enjoyed, tight lines 🙋♂️👍
Good to see you back out on the rocks Dave a cracking session a nice kelpy to save the day, top angling as always with great footage with the drone thanks for sharing m8 tight lines 👍🎣🎣🎣The trident clip your using is the aero pulley which is a figure of 8 when line is threaded and there is the dynaform pulley which I use, I've used a few different terminal tackle brands for making my rigs and Trident tackle is the best never let me down 👍
Cheers mate much appreciated. Totally agree re Trident. Very well
Made indeed 👍
@@fullcircleangling No probs m8 I used the solo splashdown for the hook clip, and one day while fishing on the holderness coast I found a rig that someone had lost and it had a couple of the trident components on it and I made a pulley rig and Iiked how the bits work so I ordered they termalinks, dynaforms, aero pulley and the roto bait clips and I haven't used anything else. Going to tie a few dongle rigs up and have a go for the hounds hopefully, keep the videos coming m8 tight lines 👍🎣🎣🎣
Well in mate the skeer to ya right of the front is canny mate
@@nefishingandtackle8557 cheers mate and noted 👍 tight lines 🙋♂️💪
Well in dave proper fishing
Thanks Mark 👍
nice to be out..wd
Great stuff - may follow that reel recommendation. Black and white frames ! Really nice edit.
Great bit of kit Andrew, you’ll not be disappointed. Thanks for the feedback, tight lines 👍
Another great vid as usual David .. well deserved kelpy too 👍🏻 stunning footage as usual .. I know you also do a bit lure fishing for bass so wanted to share that I had a surprisenly good session at Cambois last week with my lure rod , standing in the shallows in my waders .. got 3 which all took the same surface lure and right at my feet too .. mind you it was perfect conditions for bass , nice rollers coming in making plenty rich oxygenated white water and the wind was in my face .. fishing the flood at seaton sluice / blyth beach yesterday until just after it turned .. flat sea and wind behind me so not great but got a couple under sized schoolies.. tight lines mate 👍🏻
Thanks Mark very much appreciated and well done on the fish 👍
Stunning video Dave, Hollywood is waiting my boy, and it's Hoyck
Cheers David hope you’re well 🙋♂️👍
Yes submarine hole and cracking video and well done bud
Cheers Craig much appreciated 🙏
The last couple of weeks in May I was taking codling on small plastic creature lures off the north end of the bay when I was fishing for pollock.
I was more surprised than the fish were.
Nice one Dave good stuff 👍
Really nice video with great scenery and a bit of action with the Summer Codling. I found your thoughts on types and use of fixed spool reels for rough ground fishing extremely interesting and am still mulling over some of the points you made. Good luck with further trips up the Northumberland coast.
Cheers Gordon really appreciate that mate 🙏 glad you enjoyed the video 🙋♂️
If you run the bungee from your box to the little hook that hangs under the head of the tripod it will anchor it down like a limpet and stop it blowing over. Do that all the time in the wind now! Acts like an anchor.
Good tip, I’ll give that a crack 👍
Nice the Saragosa there very under rated here dont know why. Mine replaced my ever reliable spinfishers for the very heavy ground the past 6 years and been faultless with solid hauling.
Always like the Swinedene marks, another good video with panoramic views.
Cheers David, yes excellent bits of kit indeed, really pleased with it 👍 thanks for watching and tight lines 👍
@@fullcircleangling there great reels simple strong reliable, very good water seal, l ve drowned mine in surf quite a lot with no ill effects so far. Usual wash sprayed under tap in fresh water worked wonders for past 40 years for me. As for my heavy reels, upgraded to new sw hg 10k and 14k twin power for big fish heavy ground, now this is next level fishing. Unfortunately prices have gone up over 25% since l aquired mine November 2022.
All in though the added bonus, it saves beating up my techniums to much, now just use for clean to mixed ground on tidal marks.
Really enjoyed the video David, you make and present the videos exceptionally well and have the knack of making me feel I’m right there alongside you and getting the same feeling and enjoyment as yourself. One thing I’d like to ask, how easy is the access to some of these locations from where you park the car ? I’d really like to try this type of fishing but at the moment mobility isn’t 100% following a injury.
Many thanks for posting, tight lines to yourself and Gary.
Thanks very much really appreciate that mate🙏 that particular mark is get easy, car was literally a minute behind me, albeit down a bit of a short hill. Some of the other marks are a bit further away so harder for me get to and a bit more of a walk, I wouldn’t suggest those types of marks if your mobility isn’t great currently. Hopefully you’re out and about soon though 🤞 thanks again for the kind words and tight lines 👍🙋♂️
Much appreciated reply David, I’ll take your advice and hopefully get fully fit first 👍
I vac pac mine 5 large at a time or 10 smaller ones straight In freezer.
I just got a sargosa 10000 for my rock and cliff fishing using my excalibur tt and komp ss
Hi mate its a shame fishing in a good kelp mark that there wasnt any more fish playing out lol and line was it not spiderwire braid em a was out thursday night had 4 sized and a wrasse so not a bad session and was out last night only managed the 1 under size but nice to be out always tmora 🎣anyways enjoy your wk end 🎣👍🏻
Hi mate, yeah tricky but never mind. Good session well done 👍 tight lines for the next one 🙋♂️
Whatched you video fishing the tyne from south shields, you showed a loop rig in a packet andsaid it was good. Could you tell me was this available to buy , if so where from . Nice to meet you in Billy's.
Hi Keith, nice to meet you too.
I make my loop rigs myself but I’m sure AD Tackle or Billy’s in Wallsend will have some pre made. Give them a bell, hopefully you get sorted 👍 tight lines 🙋♂️
Cracking video David how is TOP GUN gary 😂😂😂
Cheers mate much appreciated 🙏 Gary is fine, watch this space 😉
Good video like mate. I agree with the reel thing. I had XG ultegra spinning reel with a larger spool than I'd owned previously and it felt extremely under gunned and weak winding. Just about compromise i suppose.
Cheers much appreciated. Yep, agreed👍
