Thank you, I do enjoy the fishing and very glad I was shown how to. I do meet the occasional couple out fishing together, but me and Mark have very different work hours so I tend to do half my trips with him and half alone. Thanks for watching 👍🐟
Great session again the whiting was a nice size , the good days make you forget the blanks . Its amazing how fish prefer a certain bait as apposed to another i always seem to do well on bluey , keep the video's coming and look after yourself
Really enjoyed watching . I've not fished for a good few years , but spent 15 years fishing the East of Scotland often 3 or more nights per week . This inspires me to get back out . Tight lines
Plaice have orange spots Hinny, flounder do not , very well done there. Missing one ring with the line can affect casting distance a lot & it does the line no good either,...I've done it loads myself. Good to see, thanks for posting.
Thanks Ashley 👍 I inspected my braid for potential damage from the eye, but it seems ok thankfully. I’ll watch when setting up from now to try not do it again Cheers 👍😆🐟
Thanks 👍 Yeh, the fish can be right under your feet, not always necessary to whack it out - I like to fish two rods of varying distances, seems to work for me 🐟🐟
Hiya Hinny, good to see someone willing to stick it out in the nippy weather. First beach sesh and two fishes! Yay! Can I ask, when you whip that bait elastic on, how do you tie it off? Best regards. 🙃
Thanks John 👍 I don’t tie it off, once bait it secured just do half a dozen turns around either the top or bottom of the bait and it will hold itself a together
thats the beach I like to fish myself, nice and clean apart from times its gets a lot of weed tight lines you are doing ok and the videos are great down to earth nowt fancy 👍 good craic 👍
I like druridge beach just the weed can be a problem at times ,yes we have some good beach fishing in the north east, mind its not as good as it used to be when I first started fishing over 50+ years ago I am now 77 and still enjoy a day out
To Watch you fishing is a pleasure and you are a natural with the casting. Sometimes the fish are under your nose and the two flatties you had were sizeable be nice with chips keep safe keep warm and crack on
Flounder can have orange spots, but have rough bits on their backs, mainly along the spine. Plaice are smooth all over. Dabs feel like sandpaper. What you have is flounder. Hope this helps
I am a lover of fishing sandy beaches, that is where my first experiences of fishing took place. You can fish light, wade and fly-fish ... have you ever fished Embleton bay?
@@fishinghinny worth giving it a try, some good bass are caught there as well as fat flounders. Salt water fly fishing does not require expensive equipment and even a humble mackerel on a fly rod gives a fantastic fight.
Thanks Chris It would depend on what fish you were targeting. I’m new-ish to this to sport myself so don’t have a great knowledge of the gear out there. What I will say is don’t be afraid to buy second hand as well as new. I started with a second hand bass rod setup (Abu Garcia/shakeaspear), which I picked up off Facebook for £40. We both now also have new bought 13’ Sonic Black rods which are very suitable for medium/hard rock and beach fishing. Hope you get sorted and get into fishing soon 👍 cheers 🐟🐟
@fishinghinny thank you for your reply. Ah no worries at all. No I was thinking of getting second hand gear to start with as I know like any sport or hobby it can get very expensive. Never thought about what kind of fish I fancy going for. Probably big fish 🤣. Did you go straight to sea fishing or did you do a bit of lake and river before hand?
Haha … big fish 😆👍 I started on summer holiday a year ago, just spinning with light rods for pollack, mackerel and coalies, got me hooked immediately 🤩
@fishinghinny 😁 I have done it before but when I was really young. Been mackerel fishing on a boat a few times and float fishing on a lake but never had my own gear. With me living in Ellington it's just 2 mins away from Cresswell and other beaches. Also with the cost of food at the minute I would like to catch and put food on the table as well 😁.
Fishing hinny you fancy teaching my girlfriend how to cast nd bait up we r from Sunderland would love to bump into you sometime hopefully? And well done keep it up
Thanks Edwin I never thought of that - great idea, I do need to buy a better stand still though, I got that old one for free of a friend Tight lines 👍🎣🐟
A woman fishing like this is rare to see, even very rare. It deserves a subscriber, I'm on board.
Thank you, I do enjoy the fishing and very glad I was shown how to. I do meet the occasional couple out fishing together, but me and Mark have very different work hours so I tend to do half my trips with him and half alone. Thanks for watching 👍🐟
Always good to take the wife fishing saves kissing her gooodbye hahaha
Fantastic! Fishing world is full of blokes, lovely to see a fine woman doing fishing and enjoy the sports. Thank you!
Thank you, much appreciated- hopefully I can show that it’s a sport for all to enjoy 😊👍🐟🐟
fantastic video keep up the great work
Thanks Jeff 🤩👍
Well done Danielle. Some nice flounder there. Nothing quiet like being out in the great outdoors.
Yeh it’s a good beach for flounder, I’ll be back there later this year 👍🎣🐟
Great video, couple of nice flounder.

Great video and true honest fishing to go with it 👏👏
Look forward to watching the rest 👍
Thank you, more to come in the New Year 👍🐟

I should use bluey more often, I usually forget to take it even though there’s always some in the freezer 🥺😆

Thanks John, I really enjoyed fishing from the beach, I’ll be doing more of that for sure 🤩👍🐟🐟
Nice one Hinny, I've learnt a little bit more from you today. Thank you.
Thanks Bob, I’m learning each time I go fishing too 🤩👍🐟🐟

Thank you, I certainly will - lots more videos planned 👍🐟🐟
Good on ya..
Great video as usual good to see someone actually varying g there casting distances instead of blasting it out everytime
Thanks 👍
Yeh, the fish can be right under your feet, not always necessary to whack it out - I like to fish two rods of varying distances, seems to work for me 🐟🐟
Improving every time. Can’t ask for more than that. Good luck Hinny. Until next time.

You’re never too old to fish 👍 well done.
Excellent couple of fish. They’re a bit awkward to fillet but are a tasty fish to eat, nice creamy white flakes.
Thank Jim, looking forward to eating them this week, yum 😋🐟🐟
Another great shift, you're definitely getting more confident 😁
Ah cheers David 👍🐟🐟

Thanks Kevin, that’ll help me for identifying future flatfish 🤩👍🐟🐟

I’ve not fished there yet John, another place to add on my to do videos list. I’d also like to try fly fishing, I think I’d really enjoy it 👍😆🐟

Yeh, some great spots around where you live, and fish definitely tastes better when self caught 😆👍🐟🐟
Carnt believe I have never seen you out.
Haha you will do one day 👍🎣🐟
What make is your finger stall I like the way it folds back to bait up, I need one of them as get sick of taking mine on and off
Hi Mark, it’s a ‘Golds’ - got it in Billy’s, North Shields 👍🐟🐟
@@fishinghinny cheers

Haha, whay aye 👍
Does she catch more fish than you?
👍😆🐟
Well done nice Flounders, Codling next time.
Cheers Paul 👍
And yes, deffo some nice Codling in the next one - filmed yesterday near Blyth, will be posted up next week
🤩🐟🐟
@@fishinghinny nice 1, we are catching noting but whiting in the River Mersey lol, hardly any codling showing yet.
Whiting are everywhere just now, it’s hard to get past them at times 🐟
what a nice tough lady.
Haha, thanks Brian, cheers for watching 👍🐟🐟
That ramp is at North Blyth, not Cambois.
Ah knaa, I'm from there.
Duly noted 👍 was behind the houses last night for a few hours, was a pleasant evening
add a carrier bag of rocks to hang under your rod rest to make it more stable
Thanks Edwin

What is kart or cart I've been beach casting for 40 + years and never heard of it perhaps I know it by another name x
I believe it's the inner meat & coral from edible crabs.
cart is the unused bits of a brown crab
Yeh, the inners of eater crab - the bits which don’t get consumed,. It’s very messy but does the job 🐟😆😆
@fishinghinny thank you everyone and hope you all have a lovely Christmas xx
Not going to cast, just CHUCK it in😊😊😊😊
Nice going kinda.
Thanks Donny 🤩👍
Getting too good for this lol hopefully we can get a fish together one day over Christmas if my backs better 4 weeks outa action 😭😭😭
Yeh, that’d be good Josh. I hope your on the mend now 🤗
Caught my biggest bass of 4lbs from the mouth of the Wansbeck.
Still waiting to catch a bass Alan, it’s on my to do list for next year 👍🐟🐟
Canny video
Thanks Micky 🐟👍🐟
If you reel in and the bait hasn't been touched, spray it with WD40. An old method but it causes a scent trail. If that doesn't work change rigs
Thanks, I’ve not heard that before, I’ll have to give it a try sometime
🤩👍🐟🐟
