I recently took up fishing and enjoy cresswell private beach right at the corner to the left of you. Always wondered if these rocks would show much in low water. Think il get myself down one morning!
Boat fishing on Genesis From Seahouses.lots of cod,savage takes on Orange muppets. However Seals are a real menace los t a couple of 10lb + to them on Monday. That cart did the trick. Just made some last week,for the shore fishing. Another great video.
@fullcircleangling made some cart wings. Just waiting for a lift,and some coloured sea. Lady hole on half ebb is my favourite spot. Those cod were a bit rough ? Did anyone say what was wrong with them?
Great video David but I`m still not convinced about the benefits of circle hooks. For instance, the second fish you took gave you the classic slackliner bite which is certainly not uncommon with Codling and even less so with Bass. When you take up the slack with rapid winding or moving backwards which I tend to do as I generally use a multiplier, the urge to strike is overwhelming! That`s supposed t be an absolute no,no when using circle hooks. Still you you managed to land the fish, strike or no strike, but I will stick to J hooks a while longer.

It is actually still a push force and friction that are working when we describe a 'pull' force. Have you ever wondered why the horizon is flat? No matter how high you go. We live on a flat plane and the tides are actually the Earth rising and falling. If the tides were caused by the moons gravity then the Great Lakes and indeed any body of fresh water would also be tidal. There are so many holes and obvious flaws in Earth as a spinning ball wizzing through space with 3 compound motions that we never ever feel....the only reason anybody believes this stuff is because of the brainwashing at school and non stop in the media. If you can take the time to actually stop and question the narrative with a truly open mind leaving the things you think you know outside...it all falls down very quickly. Anyway have a nice day and maybe we'll bump into each other chasing the cod this winter. :)

I live near kelp beds here on the west coast of Ireland .I have been trying to run a float above the weight to keep the bait above the bottom. Is this a good idea or should be fishing the bottom ?? Thanks for the video.
@@horsemanoftheapocalapse5837 hi mate thanks for watching. I suppose it all depends what you’re fishing for. If you can suspend the bait just above the kelp that should hopefully yield something. But if you’re fishing for species like cod/conger/huss then you might be better off going heavy on the tackle and fishing right on the bottom amongst the kelp. Thanks for watching and tight lines 🙋♂️

I laugh at your terminology, if fact, your not the only one, we all say things like, "it's not a bad fish" or "it's a good fish". What, would be determined as a "bad fish"???. Everyone seems reluctant to answer this!!!!
Going back to the 60's and 70's, there were many "bad" fish especially in the Tyne. They had fin rot, twisted back bones, big head and shoulders then a very short and twisted tail. You would always put them back, too risky to eat.🎉
@reiverone the point went way over your head. Even if a fish has 3 eyes and 2 tails, it's a good fish, especially if it saves the blank. Therefore the saying "not a bad fish" is irrelevant. But as anglers, we all tend to say it. A question in jest, has seemingly opened a can of worms 😂😂🎣
