In the new year I will be buying my first big boy's fixed spool beach casting reel after always going for the cheap and cheerful £25 cheap jobbies that die after a year since getting into sea fishing in 2016. I'm looking at spending up to £200, could you please do a video showing your own personal preference top 5 reels, based on your knowledge of understanding of Chesil, what gear ratios and what reel size means, in that price range to help us new to investing in fishing, not new to it but first time splash out on nice tackle...? What a trip you had ... We had our annual cod comp out of cardiff on Sunday 1/12/24 out on the boat this was number 47 and that's 47 years . Of running this comp we only had 8 yes 8 cod fish to the scales. So we can say the fish preference cod was crap. I think the British snow flake government needs to grow a pair of nuts and stop all of these ffffffing trawlers hoovering them all up out of our beautiful see before they are gone. We had 80 boats and 290 fishing lovely people fishing this comp. Which ment we would of had 580 rods in the water. Its about time we all stop and take note on what we are doing.... just stop and look whats happening to our Bristol Channel this was one of the best cod grounds in the country it's not the climate its over fishing wake up people 😢🙄💩 I've seen year on year that it going down the tube
