Love to see Tony and CJ Fishing your neck of the woods in the North East in mid winter at night in the kelp for the big codling , you should invite them up For a session.
Happydays david well done mate nice little toys ya got there lol always good to treat ya self your not getting any younger so why not 😂👍🏻hope you had a good drink too🍺🍺
Cheers mate and yes exactly, the toys have to be bought now and again don’t they! Put plenty booze away that’s for sure! Thanks as always for watching, hope you’ve been out getting a few 🤞🤞
Mission accomplished spotties and whiting well done mate, especially with it being a new venue. Tony's been going quite a few years now bought a few Zziplex rods of him in the 80's top man and good service, tight lines and keep em coming matey, hope you got the iodine off you wrongun haha
great little video David, great little beaches to fish, im heading down to family in Crawley in May so might have a trip down to Eastbourne and have a go, well done mate😊
Nice one David, your right about comfy fishing. It duz look a good coast to fish. Iff I only I was closer lol. I watch tony's chanel and they all seem a nice bunch of sea anglers. All the best from GRIMSBY
Hi Dave I love your videos you are a good presenter, a natural unlike some on YT, I am from south Wales and like you I am now a travelling angler , I travel all over the uk when its worth doing it, and yes most of the old rigs are the best I know im 70,lol. if you want any info on marks in south wales get in touch, regards .Allen
Shame I missed you. I live across the road from that beach and cover Tony for a few hours in his shop most weeks. Had to pop to LA to see a friend the week you were down. Tide runs right to left on flood and left to right on ebb. Ebb fishes well however the water was a bit coloured to get the big place and hook size is normally 2, 1/0s are a bit big. Still you got some fish on new gear well done. Hope that I will catch up with you one day. Tight lines.
I keep going as often as I can, but blank after blank, well never mind a day on the beach fish are just a bonus. Great to see you youtubers catching though. Happy days
Another great video nice to see you down this part of the world I have fished eastbourne many times it’s good until you get the may rot and then it’s a pain happy days 👍🥸🎣🐟
Cracking video as per mate. Keeping it plain n simple old skool 👌 man after my own heart. Looking forward to the next one. I still need to send you the os map of west Scotland. I'll do that soon
Nice video mate. Low tide at Eastbourne is pretty good for plaice theres a lot of sand banks. I always end up catching some once everyone has gone home and im sat there losing hope 😂 i use black and green beads they seem to love them! The tide doesnt go down much further than where you were at the end 👍
What a cracking little session David 👌🏻 I wish we had some steep shingle beach’s up our way .. like you said , comfortable fishing in deep water with no snags .. pretty alien to what we’re used to up here eh ! Excellent footage as usual .. 10/10 mate 👍🏻
Cheers Mark much appreciated 🙏 yeah very comfortable fishing indeed down that way. They don’t get the quality of cod we do but you can’t have it all I suppose…thanks very much for watching and tight lines 🙋♂️
A other fab video Dave new rods, new reels, a new venue a d got your target species 4 of the and 2 pin whiting top angling m8. I'm thinking of getting a Penn 525 mag 4 seem nice reels to cast with for ppl wanting to try using a multiplier, keep the videos coming Dave and hope to see Gary back out fishing soon tight lines 👍🎣🎣🎣
Cheers Michael much appreciated mate. I’d suggest going for a Fathom either 15 casting special or 12 size over the mag mate. Better for casting and more powerful with the handle. That might help….🤷♂️
@@fullcircleangling cheers Dave thanks for the info I was thinking of the Penn 525 mag 4 due to my financial state to get used to the multi and hopefully put some distance on my casts, I've got a Daiwa slosh 30 Ive been having a go at the OTG. Thanks again m8 I will have a look at the fathom, tight lines on your next outing I may be going this weekend if my m8 ain't at work then I'm going to target the rays on the holderness coast 👍🎣🎣🎣
Cheers Derek much appreciated 🙏 yeah just about getting the hang of them. Few more sessions then should have it hope. Thanks for watching and tight lines 🙋♂️
Great little video that and nice to fish for something totally different on different ground and slightly lighter tackle. You mentioned you were meeting a guy to fish in South Wales in a couple of days ? How did that trip go and did you get some good fish and footage for the next video ? 🤔😁🤭😉
Not long picked myself up a t900 sgt hoping to get a few fish on it soon enough, plaice is actually one of my targets this year as I am yet to catch one but great video as always mate
@@fullcircleangling haha we can work on the subs. I'm sure Matt over at saltwater angler would swap some subs for your casting ability! 🤣 Every time I watch you cast I'm like... I barely know how to fish 🐟
@@yorkshireaquatics9537 it’s all just practice mate, I spent a lot of frustrating hours developing the style I use. Try and get down and have a practice but only Go for an hour max, any longer and you’ll sicken yourself and go backwards. 💪👍 I’d be happy to give you some tips if you’re local?
@@fullcircleangling I will snap your hand off for any tips and advice and I'm not scared of a 3hr drive to get up your way for some fishing. Already been to the mull of Galloway for a blank earlier this year so I drive up the east coast would be most welcome 🙏 What's the best way to get in contact with you?
Congratulations on the new rods and christening them! 🐳👍 I’d rather have stuck to the fishing rather than a wedding - any day! The roof tent looks great too. That will be you sorted for the EOBC then. 😂
Cheers mate. That was literally the first time they’d been cast so they’ve bedded in nicely now they’ve had a bit of water and tension on them. Thanks for watching and tight lines 👍🙋♂️
