New to channel, interesting ideas so far

I tend to shop weekly so these kind of big shops make me feel anxious I’d never have the space to store all that and would then be overthinking what to make with it all? is anyone else like that with huge food shops? I do like to watch them though, it looks like you are well stocked up and make some interesting things yourself, plus lots from scratch, would love to see how you make curries, dips etc - it must save a lot to cook like that rather than reach for a jar of curry sauce or pre-made dips - I bet homemade are far nicer too

Have you tried making your own hummus? I can't remember the last time I bought the ready-made version. I make my own now and tins of chick peas are 49p each at Aldi. Can't remember how much tahini is, because I get it elsewhere and it lasts a good while.

Lots of fresh single ingredient foods. But the cartons apple juice and crackers highly processed and full sugar

These are great tips in these trying times.. I long for a world where ordinary people don't have to worry about saving just to buy enough food to eat, we have more than enough food and resources in the world to feed the world 3 times over, why are we grasping for crumbs while the richest people in the world who control our lives feast. Why do you hate milk so much? I personally, cant eat white flour, oats or barley. That cuts out a huge food group. Sacrifice enough, i think. Children need milk unless intolerant

I do a Costco run every 8 weeks I normally buy thing like washing pods fabric conditioner chocolate bars

I think part of being savvy is having a stock of essentials (if you possible can ) life is not predictable its just a safety net when things don't run to plan !!!!so pleased both you and baby look really well x😊

The doctor waa telling you the truth when she said they probably would have sent him home. My 4mo had rsv at 4 weeks old and the childrens hospital tried to send her home but a couple of hours later she deteriorated and ended up staying for 8 days on oxygen. Its hard to tell when they are that small. Try not to beat yourself up about it even doctors get it wrong sometimes. Glad to hear he is on the mend x
