Thank you coach !
Brilliant! Simple and pro teaching. Thanks for your time coach! !Desde Sudamérica, un gran saludo!
Appreciate your comment brother and thanks for supporting my channel 👍🥊
Thanks for the technical content, coach! I do have a question, being that I am no longer a spring chicken, how would you recommend training for these defensive moves with a dodgy lower back? That has been the main concern while practising, and I tend to rely more on my legs, but it isn't a complete solution. Any advise would be appreciated.
Hey brother I have a similar problem , I have compressed discs at L1-2-3, a herniated disc at L5 and I have moderate to sever damage in my neck from C5 through C7, my advice would be to do the movement slowly in shadow boxing to find if you have any limitation , and just go steady , I feel your pain though , I know I’m 49 but in my head I’m still in my 20’s but occasionally my injuries , mostly from combat sports let me know just how old I actually am 👍🥊
Great coaching and Boxing tips a hidden gem of a channel you deserve lots of subscribers. From South Australia🇦🇺👍✝️
+I've been a tattoo artist and I've got my children's names in old English on my forearms too good choice 👍

Currently my favorite boxing channel on YT. Helped me improve my technique and movement. Thanks a lot. I'm taking a few weeks off boxing because of the rib injury, from a biking accident. Can't wait to try these combinations.
Sorry to hear about your injury my friend I hope you recover quickly and thanks for your continued support of the channel 👍🥊
Thx coach for all your content 🙏 im going to save this and take it to the bag. Thank you
Your very welcome brother I hope it helps take your bag work to the next level 👍🥊
Solid narration and demo that also serves as a "check list" for cleaning up technique. Well done and thanks for what you do.
Your very welcome brother thanks for watching 👍🥊
I'm going have to watch this several times. Thanks for posting.
Your very welcome my friend and I hope you get on well learning these lead hooks 👍🥊
Standard check hook vs the Russian check hook. Is one better for getting off the ropes ? Thank you for another great video btw 👍🏾🔥
Both are good for getting off the ropes , I personally prefer the Russian check hook for it but then I know people who prefer standard check hook so my advice would be practice both, try both in sparring, and see which feels more comfortable for you brother 👍🥊
@@coachcraiguk got it! thank you
Very welcome brother 👍🥊
I just found the channel. Now I have homework to do. Your work is appreciated.
Appreciate the comment and the sub brother welcome to the sweet science 👍🥊
Nice definitely going to work on the back pivot 😊
It’s a really good hook variation to work on brother 👍🥊
Best explanation I've heard of rolling.
Appreciate your comment my friend 👍🥊
This is a great one coach, I've been training for something like 6 months and I'm at the stage where I am combining different things to produce movement of the feet and head, I notice one of the biggest things is not paying attention to my feet when pivoting and such and ending up in a position where I'm off balance after doing a few things. I like the way you emphasize where the foot needs to be and explain if it's a fluid motion of the foot with the hook, I've gotten the impression in class sometimes that since it's explained in steps, you end up separating the hook and the step, obviously that feels silly when doing it. Anyway thank you this is really helpful, I'm gonna practice those hooks on the bag today!
I’m glad the video has been helpful brother , yeah everything starts and finishes with your feet , we’ve all done it , thinking more about our hands than our feet but your foundation is everything , let me know how you get on with the hooks brother 👍🥊
Thanks coach!
Your very welcome my friend 👍🥊
thank you
Your very welcome brother 👍🥊
My favorite knockout punch. Always a pleasure coach
Always my pleasure brother 👍🥊
Wow I feel like I should be paying for this content. Excellent video

Your very welcome brother 👍🥊

Your very welcome brother 👍🥊
Excellent Series!
Really glad you liked it my friend 👍🥊
I really like how you explain the footwork. That's the most important part.
Agrees brother footwork is so important thanks for watching my friend 👍🥊
Another clear, concise and focused lesson. Your videos have helped me fix some bad habits and avoid developing new ones. Thanks again!
Your very welcome brother 👍🥊
awsome when throwing straight left rightleft right should they land in same spot or a little bit apart on the bag when u hit it
That’s entirely up to you brother which ever feels more comfortable, obviously the more accurate you can be the better however whenever I’m volume punching , if I’m sparring with someone with a high guard all I’m really doing is occupying the hands and lanes so as long as they are roughly the same place all is ok 👍🥊
That's completely wrong. Check the Soviet style boxing coaches like Frolov or Isaev. Bending the rear knee is not a stable structure, and 70% of the punching power is from the rear leg. If you bend the knee, you are not able to push the weight. It Is similar biometric as shot pot , they throw the iron core with the rear leg. The core should be loose , otherwise, you are losing range of motion when you rotate the hip and when you receiving body body shot you will be not able to flex the core on the right moment
That's why 90%of Soviet boxers are shit when they turn professional 😂 Soviet boxing is good for amateur but very risky when they turn PRO .
Bivol, Usyk, Loma and GGG all deliver their rear hands with bent rear knees…… all Russian or Ukrainian amateur champions. The ultra Russian style you speak of doesn’t work in the pros, the gentleman I mentioned prove this.
@@glennr2358 Chill out my friend 90%of them fall Only 10% 📈 That style is very risky if you want professional carier , amateur yes 100%. But it will kill your carier in long tern. If you want only amateur carier than take Kazakhstan/Russian style . If you want professional carrier,American /European style .every smart coach know this .
this channel is gonna be huge
Appreciate the comment brother 👍🥊
Great work friend! way to go! Keep it up! I practice throwing punches at home for many years, I'm not a fighter but I know how to move and throw punches in a correct way and fast combinations.
Good work my friend and there’s nothing wrong with not being a fighter brother you can still get all the benefits of boxing , out of all the members at my gym only a small % actually fight , I always tell people you don’t have to be a fighter to train like one 👍🥊
@@coachcraiguk I see, that's true!
Way more people box for fitness than actually fight mate 👍🥊
every time a different gem. thank you
Your very welcome brother thanks for supporting my little channel and I hope it helps 👍🥊
@@coachcraiguk Always fun to see these video's breaking down what makes a punch work properly
There’s so many details that a lot of people don’t see, they just think boxing is two meatheads lumping each other, it’s way more intricate than that brother 👍🥊
Los detalles, los detalles hacen la diferencia entre la mediocridad y la excelencia. Keep the superb work coach! Thanks from Southamerica.
Appreciate the comment brother thank you hope the content helps in some way 👍🥊
Fantastic stuff as always.
I suppose it’s like learning chess and putting in thousands of hours with white openings and not any black openings, it’s clear whenever you start as black you’re gonna be lost.
That’s right my friend if you’ve not learnt it not only do you not know what to do with it but once you do learn it it gives you a better idea strategically 👍🥊
