    Wow this is something I started noticing lately at karate too with punching first before stepping. It feels weird at first but is so much faster but at white belt or even at Muay thai basics it was step first then punch. It makes it harder to unlearn. Cheers

      Your very welcome brother , trigger defence and attack does feel a little weird to begin with but is a brilliant concept once you get your head round it 👍🥊

      @coachcraiguk  5 месяцев назад +1

      Firstly my friend there’s no need to quit boxing , it’s a learning curve I’ve got some more videos coming out soon about sparring drills secondly I would suggest that the person you are sparring with is sparring with ego, in the beginning sparring really wants to be at a play level so you can work on your drills and your defence without having to worry to much , listen to all the top fighters they don’t spar hard unless they are in fight camp the rest of the time they play spar, super light and enjoyable, another thing while your still working things like footwork I would suggest only body sparring so no head shots while your building your fitness up and getting rounds under your belt my friend , go to my video about sparring drills and find someone who’s willing to practice them with you while you build your confidence and timing brother 👍🥊
