- As we begin our boxing journey it’s easy to just want to hit hard , cause the harder we hit the better we are right ? Nope you should be focussing on technique over power to develop one main key skill you need which is balance. As a beginner boxer focus on balance , footwork , foundation and body mechanics, the power will come with proper technique. The other thing beginner boxers forget to train is exits, exits after you punches , every combination has three parts , an entry , execution of the combo, and an exit. Here is 5 simply ways to exit safely after throwing a jab cross , although it may look easy , when everything is put together there are a few key skills , footwork for an entry , correct body mechanics for your jab cross , defensive movement and footwork for an exit
Watch for the common mistakes that usually happen with footwork ie closing the feet to much and remember … technique over power.. stay balanced stay in control , focus on the detail and the rest will look after itself

Are these exit strategies the same for Southpaw vs Orthodox (open stance) ???????
They can be yes although us southpaws, ( I demonstrate everything orthodox but I’m actually a southpaw ) we tend to want to go to our right but then if we only ever go right it becomes predictable 👍🥊
I'm 56 years old and. I still train
Good for you my friend thanks for supporting the channel 👍🥊
Great. Do you still spar and at what intensity?
@javedhashmi3315 hey I do yes , although I shouldn’t , it’s really light and only people that I trust and who know how injured my neck is , I’ve got some really badly damaged discs in my neck that are constantly putting pressure on the nerves and if I got my head snapped back hard enough , according to my chiropractor that could be wheelchair time, how true that is I don’t know, I know I’m in constant pain, and he knows telling me not to spar is wasting his breath , so he’s agreed I can but only light stuff my friend 👍🥊
Please please put some timestamps, captions, some minimal production.
Damn it I keep forgetting to do that , I will make more of an effort I promise 👍thanks for your continued support though 👍🥊
C est super''oui''mais. En salle '' hélas en bagarre 'de rue''le pied 'avant ''hum..
