Great video boss! Question for you.. since you say that the head gasket will blow once the water pump goes out, would it be safe to say that if we change the water pump before that happens, that might save the head gasket or at least make it last longer?

You don’t know what you’re doing because you took off way too much parts just to replace the ignition. -all u need to do is turn your handlebars all the way to the right and you create a big enough gap to remove the ignition without taking everything you took off. Rookie or let’s say amateur removal

Gud infor! A little trick to get it home or some where safe you can unplug the small elec plug on inverter coolant pump replace the am2 fuse and drive the car short distance or to get it loaded up to save you from a tow bill! Done a many times to help customers out, thanks Nate

I just purchased a 2007 Prius last month. The car was $4900 plus fees. There was an issue with the hybrid battery so I had it replaced by a Toyota dealership. I was told the battery should be good for about 15 years. The car appears to be running okay. It has 173.000 miles.

In my Gen 3 Prius #4 is wrong, the engine will start up and charge the traction battery regardless of how long you run the AC for in park. #5 can not avoid fluctuation, it is part of how the system works.

I did this for a number of years started in 2010 mainly purchasing Prius cars the 2nd gens 04-09 from GA SC and NC coparts auctions, main goal was to purchased run and drive car that had no frame damage or air bag deloyed most just cosmetic damage, during that time my wife and I purchased everyone we could! Never had a problem selling them, just finding the right ones. Though my health let me down i had to stop doing in 2015 but they were very gud cars to me and my customers most of them still running today! Gud advice is be honest with your customers and try to provide cars you know very well.... prius!

I will probably get a prius 2007 EU model. Would you say this failure is common or its a rare occurrence? Should I be worried it will eventually fail? Car has 142,000 miles. Also is there a way to test for it before buying the car and then learning it has this problem? How can I tell if its problematic?

Any thoughts on the Prius C to gen 2 conversion? I finally got a low enough, Prius C engine assembly for under around 250. Around 160K miles and will most likely use gen 2 intake, delete EGR, gen 2 exhaust manifold, controlled electric water pump, drill out block for all eCVT mounting holes and I forget what else off hand. I do not need yet, so will work on slowly and try to detail concisely as I go. I have an 08 P0A92 with P0AA6 codes, so time for my first eCVT swap in the mean time. Would be nice if there was a way to repair the eCVT.

I do believe newer model hybrids have software management capable of managing the battery for maximum efficiency and longevity

Thanks for a quick and easy break down on how to replace the bulb without taking off the bumper. The bolts on my Prius were rusted and stripped when I tried taking it off. I gave up for a few months and was riding dirty. Thanks to your video I was able to replace my bulbs with ease! Cheers!

my 4th gen front wheel drive in ct averages 65 mpg combo driving - my old 04 averaged 44- 4th gen uses 0-16 synthetic doesnt burn a drop xtra ever- the 2nd gen did it used 5-30 conventional

I have a 2001 prius and got P0300 and P0301. Replaced all spark plugs ignition coil 1 and fuel injector 1. Now the engine shakes at times. Codes were clear for 2 days but I am now seeing the same codes again. Any suggestions?

CLEAN YOUR BATTERY FAN, its under the back seat. stupid toyota was'nt doing this when i took my car in for a service.

So basically you have to keep your eye on the system while driving to make sure it's in the blue...lol smh
