Awesome information!
No problem!
Isn't there warnings its going bad before it creates a big problem or does it just die out of the blue. I have a 2010 with 76k which mostly had brake problems in the rust belt.
There is a warning when it goes bad and a lot of the times it’s to late
Nice video, Is this still an issue on the 4th gen Prius?
Haven’t ran into any issues with them yet but still could be as they are still pretty new to the market
Thanks, I just bought a 2017 Prime a few months ago. Great car so far.
Does it make noise? I WISHED they had temp guages for engine & battery. 🙄
Yeah I know me too but no they don’t make noise
I had prius head gasket went bad on 174000 mile i had it fixed and mechanic told me replace water pump indid not and head gasket never went bad again
Yes!
Replace water pump every 50k miles? Where did you get that number?
Better safe than sorry. It’s easier to replace a water pump pump than a bad motor

How to know it's going bad?
You don’t that’s why you have to just put a new one in to prevent it
The reason of why the water pump going bad is starting lossing water from the car ... You need to check the radiator before putting the new pump..
Incorrect. The pumps are electric and they go bad often
@@carhub2178 electric thats rights if dose not like in gen2 its not go bad ... Electric pumps in gen3 must be speed target 2750 - 2850 rpm So if all radiator are good . Then we dont need to change the whole pump , just the ventola
