Why did I not watch this video first? I completed this very job this afternoon, but I went from the top without removing the headlight. I saw the main two bolts of the headlight but assumed the other bolt was somewhere hard to get. I didn't realize taking off the bumper was so easy. The job was NOT easy doing it the way I did it, but I got it done eventually leaving the existing bracket in place.
Yea, you should probably bleed the system to remove air. Mine didn’t have air bubbles, but it definitely needed more fluid to replace what spilled out.
Thanks for this video. Removing the headlight made this job dead simple.
Best vid ive seen of this. Thank you

I like the light removal approach for access, but this video skips several steps. Also, add more fluid and bleed.

What to do it the new pump isn’t pumping?
Check power and ground at the connector

Is bleeding air required after replacing pump?
No just have to check antifreeze level again after driving it a ways
