NICE BRO I appreciate the disconnect description on the electrical. MAYBE,,,, mention what to do with the charged ac before disconnecting the lines so people don't blind themselves like so many have before. Sad but true.
I just disconnected mine on a 2010 prius and it definitely has a clip. I tried prying up but that was a no go. Took a picture of all the sides and found a clip at about 8 oclock if the engine is 12 oclock. So on the flat side that points toward the front and to the left. Very bottom has to be pryed away from the connection and then pull up.
Hi, my used 2012 Toyota Prius V needs a new Hydraulic Brake Booster and a pump. The Toyota dealer's cost to do the job is $4533.31 which is more then I have. Being a senior on a fixed income. I have checked with a couple other mechanics but the said they don't have the equipment. Do you know of any other mechanics I can check with that can do the job for less near Temecula, California zip code 92586. Thank you for any help you can give me.
My ac is blowing cold as usual but when it kicks on putting it under a load either compressor or the fan is making noise. So im afraid to use it. Do i need to change comressor? Has anyone else had an issue like this?
You’re awesome! I was nearly gonna break that orange plug until I decided to look it up

Thanks for sharing, why are 90% of replacement compressors that are sold as replacements for these years of Priuses dont have orange wiring included?
Do you need a scanner to reset the compressor or the battery after hooking everything back up?
No you do not
My Prius V needs brake work and is sitting in my garage. Should I turn it on for 10 or 15 minutes once a week to keep the battery charged?
I would recommend too. Yes
Tx but you didn’t explain how to disco the orange cable. Can’t figure out how to move the green clip b
Slide green clip back
How do disconnect the black plug? Not clear on :proper tool".
“Popper tool” you just pry up on the bottom of the connector.
