New Electric Water Pump from 1AAuto.com 1aau.to/ia/1AEWP00270
This video shows you how to install a water pump in your 2010-2015 Toyota Prius. The water pump keeps coolant flowing through your engine. Common failures of the water pump will leave the coolant leaking, or stagnant. Both will lead to overheating if left untreated. Install a new engineered to fit water pump from TRQ for total peace of mind.
This process should be similar on the following vehicles:
    2010 Toyota Prius
    2011 Toyota Prius
    2012 Toyota Prius
    2013 Toyota Prius
    2014 Toyota Prius
    2015 Toyota Prius
    Tools you will need:
    • 10mm Socket 1aau.to/oa/1AXAA00017
    • 12mm Socket 1aau.to/oa/1AXAA00015
    • Socket Driver

This is the only video I found that actually walked through the process in an instructive, normal pace. Thank you!

The dealer just charged me $1600 to replace this pump. It should be illegal for Toyota dealers to scam people like this.

    Very good video. Well done.
I found that a deep well socket with no extension was just the right length to get my ratchet in to take out the pump bolts. An extension + standard socket was a little too long.

I am confused about the link to the torque wrench needed (Torque Wrench Range: 25 to 250 Ft. lbs. Socket Drive: 1/2 in. Drive) and the torque required 19 & 15 ft-lbs. at 5:04 and 5:18. What torque wrench did you use?

Does the car need to be level when draining the coolant? Or can you just jack it up from the front?

It is better to do the under bolt if you see them because the timing cover have the same bolts and this can make mistake and open one of the timing cover bolt 😅
