have you tried using a piranha tooth bar on the bucket?
Thanks for watching. I do have a tooth bar on the bucket. When I got my tooth bar the company BXpanded that makes the Piranha wasn't around yet. I have heard great things about the Piranha tooth bar and I hear it does a super job taking the sod layer off.
you could make some money doing this for others on the side. i'd pay to have this done.
THANKS for watching. I've been asked before about doing this type mods but the parts (windshield and cross braces) required for the Curtis Hard cab are no longer available. I know of only one other person who followed my lead and made the conversion so that the 45 loader can be attached.
Thanks for sharing, just finished fabricating mine. Made my own extensions and saved a bunch on money there also. Looking forward to spring so I can try it out. Thanks again.
Thanks for watching and I hope your thatcher works a good as mine! You will not regret making it .
will the x758 pull a 2 plow?
Thanks for watching! The short answer I think would be YES. It all come down to traction. People usually put weights on the front of their tractors and use AG type tires for extra traction. Secondly it depends on the size of plow with 8", 10" or 12" bottoms and whether or not you will be plowing previously tilled soil. Turning new sod would be a bit of a challenge for a 2 bottom plow I would think. I've seen pictures of a JD 318 (2WD) pulling a custom made tandem 10" bottom plow.
Briliant
THANKS and thanks for watching!
Whats your measurement from the driveway to the highest point on the cab?
THANKS for watching and your query! On my machine the measurement is 74 3/4” so just under 75”. When I bought my machine I made sure that it would fit into my garage which has a standard 7’ high door. Hope that this answers your question.
Didn't have any doubt. Looks like a winner.
THANKS Levi!
Very nice design and build! This is something I have wanted for some time, but just can't justify it.
THANKS and thanks for watching. I will get a lot of use out out of it as I'm building a new house with lots of sand/dirt/stone to be moved around.
That seemed perfect, I’m so happy it works flawlessly. I absolutely loved the trip through the trees!
Thanks and I was very pleased with how it worked on the first try. Not pleased with how shaking the in-cab video section are though. must of had the camera mount not tight enough.
@@X748SE Don’t beat yourself up too much I didn’t even notice 😀.
I like this trailer better than the other one. This one is bigger right?! You do good work.
Thanks and the trailer has about twice the capacity of the my previous 17P tandem cart.
Worked perfectly. Great job on the wagon. Cheers
THANKS and thanks for watching!
Wow, nice work.
THANKS and thanks for watching!
I'd suggest going with a gravity down to save on your battery power! Nice trailer. Well done.
THANKS for watching and your suggestion. Your right it would save on battery with gravity down.
Woooow, I have been waiting for this for so long :) I have the wheels and hubs waiting for me to build something similar! Great work!
THANKS for watching and good luck on your build!
Very nicely done! And a "beast" it is.🙂 Nice to see you back at it again.
THANKS and it’s been a while. I hope to make a few videos of it in action soon.
Good job

Looks awesome! Nice work!
THANKS and thanks for watching!
Awesome job on the new cart! Now, how about you selling me that 17p cart? 😊
THANKS and thanks for watching. The 17P will be kicking around for a while.
Awesome Engineering! Another great project for us to drool over!
THANKS and thanks for watching! This project definitely had its challenges to get everything aligned and working properly.
Man we haven't heard from you in a minute if you know what I mean
Thanks for watching and ya it's been a while.
very cool :)

I need this wow
Thanks for watching. Having a hydraulic dump cart definitely makes life easier!
This is a great build. I would love to ask you a few questions about it if you wouldnt mind.
Thanks for watching. If you want info about the core aerator, look in description section of the video for a link to my build thread. If you want more info, then you may have to join the forum and message me through it.
Life’s simple pleasures, watching the snow curl off the edge of the blade!
THANKS for watching! I don't get to use the blade often but it is definitely is a lot of fun playing with it.
Good to see you again!
Thanks! We just didn't the snow this year to make other videos.
Wondered if you would get to play this winter. Good job.
Thanks - A winter that almost never happened.
yea!! snow clean up. Been long time. I installed a linear actuator like you did on the blower chute to make the deflector electric. Still working like a champ.
Thanks. Those linear actuators really help in place the snow where you it. Mine is still really strong. Zero issues with it!
Where have you been the last few years?? Why aren't you paying regularly?? Cheers from Tillsonburg
I'm still here. Life gets in the way sometimes. I hope to do more videos this year.
Nice to see you making a video again! This winter has been whimpy at best. I too plowed out about 5 inches of heavy wet snow with my X758 with a 60" blade this morning in western New York. I think I have only plowed 4 or 5 times the entire winter this year. Wishing you all the best and looking forward to seeing more of your videos in the future.
Thanks - It's been basically been a no snow winter.
Thank you for your APPRECIATION to your subscribers who watch your videos 😢

Bummer of a winter too here in SE Wisconsin for us snow removal fanatics.😢
Yeah - I'd rather have a bunch of snow in the winter any day over what we had this year.
That is completely awesome!
THANKS and thanks for watching! There are more videos on my channel showing it in action.
Where did you get your cover from. And how much?
Thanks for watching. If you are referring to the hard cab, I bought at the same time as my tractor from John Deere. A used one is hard to come by these days but they do come up for sale once in a while.
where did you get the pulleys from?
Thanks for watching and your query. I found mine at a local surplus store at the time but I don't think they carry them anymore. From other people that have done this mod have found them at McMaster-Carr. As of this week - here is a link to some that might work --> www.mcmaster.com/products/pulleys/od~3-000/od~3/shaft-diameter~1-2-2/shaft-diameter~0-5/number-of-grooves~1-1/rope-diameter~1-4/rope-diameter~0-25/?SrchEntryWebPart_InpBox=3%22+pulley
How did you make the custom grips on the factory levers? I'm very curious and want to do the same.
THANKS for watching and your query. Please click on this link to see some pics -> www.mytractorforum.com/media/albums/custom-lever-grips.19209 I bought a piece of plastic material (Nylatron) from a surplus store. A couple of things. The holes drilled for the lever bar and switches are offset. The hole for the wires is beside the hole for the lever handle spaced about 1/8" between them. Used heat shrink to conceal the wires.
Would you be interested at all in making me 4 grips like that? I love the clean look of them. I just tried to use my OEM ones and screwed them all up.
@connerf7283 - I'm currently starting to build a house so I'm going to pass on the prospect of making grips.
I almost started to laugh when I saw her walk out with shorts on .
Thanks for watching and yes a lot of Canadians still wear shorts in the middle of winter!
Great to have you back! Looking fw to more videos 😊 Happy new year!
Happy New Year to you too and THANKS for watching!
Good to see you back, looking forward to some snow removal videos!
THANKS and thanks for watching. There will be some snow removal vids that is if we get any snow this year!
I know this is an older video, but I just found it and have the same type spreader. Do you remember what "throw length" the actuator was/is? 4" sound about right? Also.....at the front of the actuator, how did you raise it up? Is there a bracket welded to the tongue or something like that? I cant quite make it out in the video. How has this worked out long term? I need to spread lime, fertilzer and seed using this spreader behind my ATV, and reaching the on off handle is not easy. You rmethod looks much better!
Thanks for watching and your query! Yes I welded a little piece of square tubing onto the tongue and notched it out to so that the end of the linear actuator can attach to it at the proper height. You are correct that it is a 4" stroke linear actuator. I don't have that spreader anymore as I have a 3PH one now. If I remember correctly I bought a speed controller for it because it travelled back and forth too fast to achieve precise settings for the material to be spread. You can eliminate this issue by getting a linear actuator that has a slower travel speed.
Welcome back
Thanks and thanks for watching!
Dude! where have you been? Cheers from southern Ontario Canada
Thanks for watching! Too many irons in the fire, I guess. I’m looking forward to recording some more escapades with my X748 in the future.
I think your microphone is picking up your voice better! I use my 318 w/gator blades and I blocked the discharge w/ a piece of aluminum plate I had lying around. This is the first year that I was able to mulch them up fine enough to not choke out the lawn. I think the difference was because 1) I did it more often 2) I went slower 3) It stayed very dry this year. I like that you said it stores compactly but I would still have trouble finding room for it. I was able to help out my neighbor this year and he was ecstatic. He doesn’t own a tractor, just a big blower on wheels he pulls around by hand. He has 5x the leaves I have. I think I was more excited than he was!🤣. More seat time for me. My 18HP mulching machine got a good workout this year and the leaves stayed away from the muffler so no smoldering leaves this year!! That was a direct byproduct of doing it before they piled up too deep. Thanks for taking the time to record your yard work. Looking forward to see you blow some snow around.
Thanks for watching. The remote microphone does make a big difference. I totally agree with you that if you do it more often, go slower and the leaves are dry, mulching is a great idea. The problem we rarely get ideal conditions here and it is usually quite wet when it’s leaf season. I hope to make a few videos this winter if we get enough snow to warrant it.
