Hey there fellow canadian looks like u guys got a small bit of snow were im to we got some real deep snow drifts and we lost alot doto this weird winter weather but eh keep up the good work and try to make the videos a little bit longer
@@X748SE if u help out anyone on ur lane see if they will let u video it or when u move ur rigs and stuff that way ull have more fotage to put into a video just some ideas or even maintance on ur tractor and blower
I love your videos man! I’m the same cab as you from my dealer to go in my x730! Is there a chance you can design me a area up on top like yours for all the electrical controls?
Thanks for watching. I would like to help but I'm quite busy right now. It is fairly easy to design your own panel! I used cardboard from cereal boxes to see what would work for the basic design. Then it is deciding what you want for switches etc. to put in it. Basic electricity is used for the circuits to wire everything up.
Do you find any issues with your front pto u joints when you lift the blower up that high when it is engaged? On my 455 I do not do this as my u joints will make a god awful noise. Been like that since I bought the 47 blower in 2000. Ever since I just raise it enough to clear the ground however I see lots of these blowers being raised like yourself.
Thanks for watching! I can honestly say that my PTO does not make any excessive noise when I raise my blower. So far I've had no issues with it and the U joints are still a good as new.
Brian Campbell I have a 445 with the 47” snowblower does the same thing. I only pick mine up a few inches. I get the same awful noise if I pick it up any higher.
Thanks for watching. Maybe next time out I'l throw the blade on and do a plowing video. I haven't done on in a while. This is if we get some more snow of course!
Is it even or has the cutting hight altered, other videos show the surface clear after snow removal, but this night pass appears to have less downward pressure across the snow plow width or are the cutting surfaces worn ?
Thanks for watching and you query. You are right the snow blower usually clears right down to but pavement but we had about an 1 1/2" of snow and then freezing rain, then rain and finally a flash deep freeze all overnight about a week ago and I didn't get a change to clear it. The compacted and frozen ice and snow from that storm is what you see underneath from what I cleared in the video. Will need a good warm sunny day to get that stuff scraped off. I'll probably have to put on the front end loader in order to do that though.
I think it's the first time I've seen you do night time video . Except for a few blurry spots it turned out pretty good . Must have been a pain to change the shear pin on the impeller . What's that red dot that we were seeing in the video at times ?
Thanks for watching. Yes it was a real P-I-T-A to change the shear pin. The heavy wet snow was really packed in there. I think that the red dot is the record light of the Go-Pro that I had mounted inside the cab. Since it is dancing all over the place now and again in the video, I think it must be reflecting off the curved rear windows and then off the front window and then back into the camera. Who knows?

Thanks for your comment and for watching. I'll try to make some longer videos, that is if mother nature cooperates.

I think it maybe the ice on the ground that effected the blower . Can't get down to the pavement with all of that ice .
