my cx5 doesn’t make any noise when i try to open it. I unhooked the battery and it started working when I reconnected the battery again. Now it stopped working again. Do you think it’s the fuse?

great job with the camera and video step by step instructions only thing I would have done differently is check the light bulb to make sure that it worked before putting everything back on besides that it was a excellent video very helpful

Your Lift Gate Video wouldn’t let me leave a message. My problem is that I can open and close my CX-5 (2020) Lift Gate from outside of the car. However the button inside doesn’t work. All it does is beep at me.

What does that hold button do?

Interesting! I wonder if both the the latch and the lift-arms are on that fuse. If someone tried to open the lift-gate while it was blocked I could see the lift-arms blowing a fuse...but the latch itself?. Anyway I attempted to dodge that bullet by buying a base model without the $650 per lift-arm option but it still has a power latch.

Hey - glad to see you're back making videos again! So....once again - I have a question......OK, so there are not many electrical things on cars that get "fixed" by changing the fuse (alone). I say it that way because usually SOMETHING caused that fuse to blow. So sure, you changed this fuse, and it started working again. This leaves us with the BIG question (drum roll please): How long until that fuse blows again??? Any thoughts?

There are shockingly few Mazda engine videos. You kick a** for making these man. I wanna know about these motors. You can find a thousand tear downs of any eco boost engine. Also all of the Honda and Toyota engines but no Mazda engines. If you go international RUclips you can see the 2.2 skyactiv diesel get a lot of repairs. But the 2.5 or 2.0?? There is 1. And only one. So thanks again for anything you add. Keep posting videos like this and I have confidence you’ll blow up. This engine is in SO many Mazdas and we have no viewable data on it except for yours. Seems weird

Thanks for such an awesome video! I own a Mazda cx 30 2021 as well and after watching your video I want to try and replace it myself. I'm hearing a rumbling noise whenever I crank up the fan. Which model was the blower motor? BDTS61B10? I'm looking to buy one online but it seems like there aren't that many options for the cx 30. Are there any alternative models (Mazda 3 or cx 3) that's compatible with the cx 30?

So I have a 2015 Mazda 6, it gotten pounded wrongfully but that's another story, I got it back and it's engine was knocking I checked the oil that oil is good anyway it broke down on me, I'm trying to get my gas out of it cuz I need it for my truck. I can't find any valve on the fuel injector rail and I can't get any tube into the tank. So I reckon this is my next best option? Edit: It has damn near a full tank Edit: also I still have like 12 more payments of $400 on it, it's going to cost me like $13,000 total after the finance charge and all that jazz, I think someone's sabotaged it, It all of a sudden started knocking really bad as soon as I got it back like not immediately like I got back to my state and filled it up with gas went to work and it started knocking come home from work and the next morning I went to work it was knocking even worse and then it's just shut down, (The oil was fine as far as I can tell everything maintenance wise looks okay), but maybe not maybe it was just bad luck coincidence, either way I'm contemplating it just returning it to the dealer, it was from a buy here pay here place, if I return it on the plus side I save about $600 a month because of the full coverage insurance, and that's going to need to go to a lawyer to prove that I ain't do nothing wrong, by the way don't go to Currahee Mountain in Georgia after dark, DNR will pop that ass....smh. and as an added plus, It will take you a while to find your vehicle be as a tow receipt won't have any relevant information on it and every number that you'll get won't know where your car is Edit: I finally got around doing this and somebody lock tighted one of the bolts in I can't get it out I haven't stripped it but if I keep trying at it I might, not sure what to do

This might be a dumb question but I’m not a mechanic, is the coolant control valve the same thing as the thermostat because if I search for that part on auto zone or OReillys it doesn’t show up when using the search term coolant control valve, however when I did past research on thermostat issues the part looks the same as these coolant control valves.

It says 122F on the dipstick because you check the fluid level with the car warm and running.

I have a 2017 cx5 not only does it ghost touch..but sometimes the screen will glitch out and the whole thing resets...would this fix that too?? I also did the display check and ot works fine, no loss of cursor when I move my finger across the scree

That connector won’t come off

If you want to save some money, instead of buying the $279 replacement screen with bezel from Mazda, eBay sellers in China sell just the screen (without the new bezel) for $20. You apply some heat to break the adhesive connection between the old touch surface and the bezel, clean out the old adhesive and re-use the bezel. Big savings! In reality, I think Mazda should be on the hook for all of these defective screens. There are plenty of TSBs. Maybe time for someone to file a class action lawsuit. My family has three newer Mazdas (2020 and 2018) and ALL THREE have ghost touch. Terrible!

At 10:21 before you tighten that bolt, there should be a jack next to the ball joint to push the control arm up to simulate the suspension's neutral position when the car has wheels and is on the road. If you don't jack it up and tighten it, the bushing will be twisted when you lower the car on the ground and if you hit a bump, it will twist even more. The bushing will fail prematurely.

I think I found the issue with my Mazda 3. A message saying “Keyless entry system malfunction have the vehicle inspected” pops up randomly and freaks me out because I just purchased the car from a Toyota dealer and they can’t seem to figure out the issue either smh. Thank you for this!

I’m glad yours was easy, but mine were much harder. That bolt holding the ball joint in was frozen solid. I had to bang it out using a hammer, but not after snapping the head of the bolt off then the ball joint wouldn’t come out of the knuckle and had to use a tie rod separator or a pickle bar in order to pop it out, others don’t have as much problems as I did but just beprepared
