Well it sure is a lot easier than doing a pump on an 89 Mitsubishi Galant you have to drop the gas tank in that case which means you have to put the car up on a lift. This is definitely a lot more convenient and preferable.
Great Video...Hope to see more like this. I had 2015 CX 5 I had to replace two wheel bearings at about 65k & 80k miles both on driver side. Is this common on CX5? I drive my cars forever and over 50 years never replaced a wheel bearing. Used to repack them with grease and retorque on occasion back in the 60's & 70's prior to CV joints etc. OK now I'm subscribing to your channel. 👍 Thank You
I haven't replaced a wheel bearing yet due to normal wear and tear. I have replaced a few tho because the vehicle was in some kind of accident. Thank for the sub tho. I really appreciate it.
@CARDIAX PLAYS... thank you for the excellent how to video. It was helpful for me to replace the crack fuel pump housing assembly on my 2015 CX 5. Do you know if the long crank on a 2015 CX-5 is also related to the low pressure fuel pump. Done so far: battery charge is good, alternator tested ok, recently changed crankshaft position sensor but long crank still there. Much appreciated. Thank you
I got a Fab9 fuel pump recently for my 2017 Mazda3. I know this is a different model Mazda but I'm sure the process is nearly the same. Gives me an idea on how to. Thank you brother.
The way you did this video is GREAT! Step-by-step......thanks! Now only one concern - a 2019 CX-5 needed a fuel pump already??? How many miles on that one?
This was actually a recall. I have not yet had to replace a fuel pump because of failure on this Generation CX-5. I replaced one once because of bad gas. Recall 5321K. If a customer orders a fuel pump for replacement it would be the entire unit witch is actually way easier than the recall.
@@CARDIAXPLAYS Well that is a relief! I mean, it's bad there is a defect and a recall, but much better than having an overall pump design, that only lasts 4 years for most of the vehicles (even if it is easy to replace!) Thank you for the video, and this info!

If my car has a small fuel leak and code p0442 i know they are known for the top plastic craking and causing leaks would replacing the housing clear that code?
