😒 From the 90's Mazda has always been overpriced with parts prices compared to the value of the car. Great lease or rental cars... but definitely not something to keep more than 5 years or pass down to the kids.... utter garbage!

great job with the camera and video step by step instructions only thing I would have done differently is check the light bulb to make sure that it worked before putting everything back on besides that it was a excellent video very helpful
They are auto leveling, but if you need to adjust, turn the vehicle on, aim the car infront of a wall, there are two plastic screws on each headlight which can be easily accessed above the headlight you can use a philip screw driver and adjust easily
Do you know if it is possible to horizontally align the headlight on CX-5 (2022 Signature)? I got my passenger side headlight replaced but it seems to throw light few degrees off towards the right (instead of at dead centre). I know how to align the headlight vertically (using the screw) but could not find anything about horizontal alignment.
I just got finished replacing the light assembly with my daughter. We used a Phillips head screwdriver, a small flat head screwdriver for some of the clips and the wiring harness, a clip removal tool for the fender trim, a 10mm socket and an 8mm socket, an extension for the sockets (for a couple of the screws/bolts), a small flashlight and I think that was it. We didn’t jack the car up or take off the wheels. It was fairly easy and took about an hour and a half…but we really took our time.
Yes, the colored bar part on the top of the bumper is fastened with plastic rivets though. So you will need to replace them, other than that the grill is completely removable. It's held on with a bunch of screws on the back side.
Question, on vehicles with parking sensor and the front radar, is their just extra electrical clips to undo, like the one you un-clipped for the fog light?
The front parking sensors have a short cord harness that stays with the bumper when removing it. there a small connector on the driver side were the fog light connects that will free up the short harness for the parking sensors. The radar behind the Mazda emblem does not need to be disconnected.
I have a friend that has the exact car with the headlamps, and they are like WET from the inside, Is there any water removal thingys in the headlights that could be clogged up or something? I did notice that both of the headlamps had a minor crack on them, probably allowing the moisture to enter. but the fact that it never evaporates or the headlights never dry is worrying, any way to fix this? Theres very limited info about this on the internet.
There's also a tsb for that. 09-041/23 "some customers may complain that the headlights get foggy or have water spots inside. This concern may be caused by the anti-fog coating not preventing inner condensation under certain situations. To eliminate this concern, the anti-fog coating preformance was improved. Customers having this concern should have their front combination light replaced."

Great video thank you! i will never buy Mazda (or any other car with ripp off led headlights again) Mazda here in Europe want 2,000 euros!!? two THOUSAND!! to replace and fit new hesdlight Absolutely scandlous. mine also died because some knob DHL driver dl rashe dinto me and as it turned out later (not picked up by Mazda) cracked the vacuum seal and my"stiped" section of the light died. they will still scam me for 209 euros to fit one i will buy 2nd hand.

Common flaw in those newer headlamps. Hope my 22 CX-5 doesn’t get that. Expensive fix.
