Hey - glad to see you're back making videos again! So....once again - I have a question......OK, so there are not many electrical things on cars that get "fixed" by changing the fuse (alone). I say it that way because usually SOMETHING caused that fuse to blow. So sure, you changed this fuse, and it started working again. This leaves us with the BIG question (drum roll please): How long until that fuse blows again??? Any thoughts?
my cx5 doesn’t make any noise when i try to open it. I unhooked the battery and it started working when I reconnected the battery again. Now it stopped working again. Do you think it’s the fuse?
Interesting! I wonder if both the the latch and the lift-arms are on that fuse. If someone tried to open the lift-gate while it was blocked I could see the lift-arms blowing a fuse...but the latch itself?. Anyway I attempted to dodge that bullet by buying a base model without the $650 per lift-arm option but it still has a power latch.
disconnect your positive and negative battery terminals and touch the negative to the positive on the vehicle terminals for about 30 seconds then retry it. let me know what happens.
THIS WAS SO HELPFUL.....Awesome!!!!
You’re a live saver, I didn’t even know that my mazda came with spare fuses. It’s working now thanks to you.
Fantastic- hope this is all that is needed for my 2021 CX-9! Thanks so much!

Is there a way to update my 2018 cx-5 software and the navigation myself?

I did that and it still doesn’t work. Any other ideas?

touching the vehicle terminals to each other will reset the lift gate module.
