The best thing about this game was that there were infinite levels. Even after finishing the story, you could always turn on the game and play a new community level every day.
I love infinity
So roblox?
@@mubarak5123 I've never played it myself but yeah there's similar games too.
You just couldn't get bored of it
roblox
I also feel really bad for anyone who didn't grow up playing this gem of the game. Getting home from school and playing this with my bro created some of my favorite memories and I'll cherish them forever.
Frr I had it on PSP
bruh sameee my big brother bought the game and he, my big sis, and i would always play it together whenever we came back from school. we’d spend hours just making the perfect sackboy customizations lol. the best man.
We had the same childhood haha
hopping on my ps3 and playing new community levels everyday was unmatched
I didn't "grow up" playing this game. However I did find this game when I was living alone and depressed. This game brought out a lot of genuine child-like joy in me and I always look back on playing LBP with fond memories. :)
Not just the levels could be made custom in such huge amounts. The character customisation was INSANE
Yeahhh my costume was like this one decoration that resembled ribbon like tentacles and I had the Chinese dragon costume under, all painted bright yellow, when I jumped into the water all the tentacles flowed behind me, it was a fun costume but it took a lot of screen space lmao one guy got mad at me online for blocking his view hahah
I remember my cousin made a peashooter costume cuz he was also in his pvz phase
DUDE THE CHARACTER CUSTOMIZING AND LEVELS WERE MY FAVORITE PART OF THE GAMEEE
As the older sibling you would have the cool costume because you stuck a bunch of decorations on yourself
@@Creepo_J not to forget the other sibling would constantly ask how you did it XD, i get where you're coming from
this game truly was a gem, and there’s nothing out there that compares.
Dreams begs to differ
@@bamban_garcia5562 doesn’t have the same feel
@@ecci0261 May not have the same "feel" but its the one thing that compares to lbp
@@bamban_garcia5562 doesn’t have the same charm. It could never be a replaced and literally no one talks about dreams. Roblox is more popular.
@@kgoon4689 Dreams has replaced Little Big Planet even Media Molecule confirmed it since it is their only 10.year old priority project they will keep supporting while everything else is secondary, sure roblox is more popular but like I said Dreams is the evolution of Lbp
Seeing this game again is so bittersweet. Like seeing an old friend that you haven't spoken to in years. I miss it so much.
Look up "Restitched" the game, it's a fan remake of the series! It basically started out as an actual porting to PC of LBP but Sony threatened to sue, so the fan developers had to rebrand, but it's basically a LBP4!!
Yooo same pfp
@@chimbychimbson Based.
Nothing will hit as hard as lbp or lbp2
Then go play it
LPB2 was my entire childhood, I'll never forget replaying the same Slenderman and Jeff the Killer levels over and over
That Jeff the Killer level where he jumped through the window was so fun
@@ThisAintMyGithub Hell yeah man, still have his sound effects burned into my mind, all the "eeees" and the "oooohs"
Omg right
Don’t forget the shark survival run too
@EllieeElven I somewhat remember that now that you mention it, my favorite were the universal, Disney and titanic levels
As a software developer now, I owe my career to this game. When I was in 6th grade, playing this introduced me to concepts like logic, creativity and iterating loops to make something cool for others to play. It'll always be in my top 5 of all time.
SAME I have a huge passion for coding and I believe that stemmed from hours of creating things in LittleBigPlanet 2 with it's elaborate logic/gadgets interface. I've recently gone back and looked at some of the things I created and several of them I don't even remember and I truly have no idea how I managed to make them at that age. I am so thankful I got the opportunity to play this.
As of last week, I've downloaded RPCS3 and got both LittleBigPlanet 1 and 2 on it so I can play them on my PC conveniently. I can't wait for Project Lighthouse to open to public so we can play online again. Long live the LBP community
Totally agree with you, in engineering school now and I owe everything to this game, developing my creative mind.
I haven’t played in a long time but curious, what in LBP had coding concepts for example?
@@ranidudeBRUH In LittleBigPlanet 2 on The Moon you have access to a variety of different logic gates and other things for computation (like OR, AND, XOR, invert, counter, selector, sequencer, timer, etc.) as well as several switches producing output and a lot of things like lights and pistons that accept input. Utilizing the logical components, you can make a lot of really cool things (someone even made a working calculator)
@@ranidudeBRUH LPB2 had very detailed circuit boards to program sackbots and other machinery
Little Big Planet is by far my favorite game series. It got me through some seriously rough times as a kid. I spent the better part of a month playing it non-stop because of a surgery I had on my face at the time, and frankly those were the best times I ever had. Paired with Minecraft, It's honestly what made me who I am today.
Same to both games
I tear whenever a song from LBP plays. Of all the great games I’ve played when I was a kid, this was one that I can vividly remember the people I met and the good and bad maps I’ve played in.
It’s a gem that will remain in the past. One that showed me creativity had no bound.
So true..
@@alexmelz1986 and no political censor that much
Bro it breaks me down in tears Fr I fucking miss this game I’ll do anything to go back or have MM make a new one I wish they come back 🥹🥹
@Soliye I dead ass have some of those bangers on my spotify
🎶🎵 Singing is easy if you can remember the tune! 🎵🎶
Hearing the music from the the Gardens level felt really nostalgic
takes you back to a place that doesn't seem to exist anymore, doesn't it? Or maybe it is just me.
It sure did
Dude me and my sister used to play the first little big planet game all the time. We never beat the game. But, everytime we’d play the game it was always a good time. And hearing the garden theme made some forgetten memories coming back and the memories I already knew flooded my brain. In high school now and my life sucks. I miss the old days.
yup.
Same honestly😊
this game literally helped shape my childhood so this actually brings a tear to my eye. not trying to be dramatic at all like i literally loved this game so much at its peak
I feel you
2:34 anyone who didn’t fall off this horse when they played this game is a legend
i always keep replaying that level but i always fall of that stupid ass horse-
@@littlebiglilian same, It took like 15-35 minutes to beat it without falling off the horse
Nearly got a heart attack when I thought LBP was actually dead.
Really shows the power this franchise has on me despite never having a proper Playstation (my relatives had Playstations)
But it is.. their servers got DDOSED last year and now both LBP 1 and 2 are completely offline. LBP 3 can barely stand on crutches to even play online. It’s dead.
@@trlopzzz6722 I feel like your pfp
@@trlopzzz6722 that hurts like fuckn bricks to know. I've been waiting for years to get a chance to play 3 on ps4 (I don't own - too expensive) just so I could revisit online levels. I'll still try, because to me something is better than nothing
But as someone from the height of the online community, this is crushing
@@ryandowner2998 playing community levels is still okay. But trying to play with other players is extremely challenging. You will lose connection a lot, and often won’t even go into the level with the other player.
@@trlopzzz6722 LittleBigPlanet was the first game I ever played and has been my absolute favourite franchise ever since, and I ALWAYS played it offline. Only on a few occasions did I dive into the online levels, I never got deep into them. The story levels and especially just the infinite possibilities one has while fooling around in create mode were more than enough to entertain me. That makes it far from dead!
The only thing that comes to my mind when I think about LBP is: Don’t cry because it ended, smile because it happened.
"We didn't know we were making memories. We just played the game for fun."
I miss LBP 2 so much, i've spend my whole 13 and 14 years on it.
LBP is a lot like the Spider-Man trilogy from Sam Raimi.
The first one was amazing and laid down the groundwork.
The second one was a masterpiece.
And the third one was ruined by an outside force and fucked our chances of a continuation.
It was a dumb fuck who took advantage of my childhood but sad to see the game die (a bit thanks to Lbp3 ps4 continuation) !
Holy shit, you're here, too?!
Surprisingly my friend it is me lol!
So thats why I hated little big planet as a kid. My first experience with the game was the 3rd one and I got immensely bored so I went back to Skylanders
@@sambreyer7344 I feel so bad for you Sam :(. The time me and my friends had with LBP2 was something else. I'm honestly sad I'll never get an experience like that in my life ever again
This game is literally my whole childhood. I remember the titanic level, bora bora island, little dead space, Spice&Co, Mini Golf all of them I used to spend hours on I even remember there were levels solely based on slapping other people and so much more I miss everything about this game and it's really a shame to see it dissolve out and kind of dissappear
Holy shit I forgot you played this in some of your videos
bora bora island is nostalgic, i think it got deleted at one point though. idk just a random memory i have.
Holy shit dude. That titanic story level was amazing, I remember beating the level and then getting the keys to the sport levels and other community levels
How the hell do you have more subscribers than me?
Eyyy
Lbp2 was such a huge part of my childhood. I remember getting it for Christmas and always playing it with friends every single day. Little big planet truly was a different time man
Little Big Planet 2 was my absolute childhood, and I'm so sad that we'll never have anything like it again. This video is so painfully relatable - I just had to subscribe
Exactly that man I feel you
3:00
They did, in fact, make the story levels using the game's own create mode.
Same for the sequel games as well. 👍
I imagine many of the assets were made specifically for the story mode tho
I would be surprised if they did not

Anytime I think about LBP and LBP2 I just get extremely happy. It was my escape as a child living in a somewhat dark household. I made so many friends and poured countless hours into creating levels and playing levels. So much shark survival and bomb survival. I remember some of the creators online that were absolute legends. I really hope they are doing good in life.
Yea those shark survival and the zombies maps were my favorite
Right over 1000 hearts you was famous hell even hundreds
Does anyone remember Spoon?
Dude same here. It WAS my world because I didn’t like my own. And man I had made so many friends, though never having a headset. Everyday there were new levels and it was exciting to see what people came up with
This game literally means so much to me. The game was a huge escape from my crappy home life, I made so many friends, explored my creativity, and learned a lot about myself. Literally so many hours of fun on this game were spent with my friends and little sister. When I found out they were shutting the servers down it was really upsetting, but then you gotta remember that everything good comes to an end. I still keep my PS3 and all my discs. Unrelated but I loved shark survival. Alright that's all lol
I still play LBP1 & 2 on occasion. Really just whenever I think about it. Never gets old. I could replay the story over and over again and never get bored. My best friend and I back in the day would play shark survival like it was the best world ever published to LBP. The LBP2 "Sleepy Head" OST makes me tear up. It even brings me back to the days of ModNation racers and the LBP collab or the sackboy song. How i wish i could go back.
the thing about this game that I think can't get recreated is the soundtracks it had, man, that stuff was like god singing into your ears
Yea I enjoyed the soundtrack more than the game for the most part.
It was literally impossible to hate the playlist! It was always such a great playlist. Every song suit the level so well
Soundtrack was so good
I recommened checking out the Botanicual soundtrack. The first song of it is what made me come to this video. The music brought me back to LBP
Hearing about the death of Little Big Planet is such a depressant for me.
This game ruled my world for a time, I miss it so much.
You've got a long name
I grew up (sorta) on LBP 1 & 2. This game was fucking unreal. Will forever have a special place in my heart.
I absolutely agree with you. Very good video!
Damn, the fact that I ended up growing up with little big planet 3 and hearing all the other great things on the first and second game makes me a little sad on what I missed out on
Don’t be too hard on yourself. It’s not your fault. But someone who did play the og games on release, it was amazing, no bugs, and creative levels everyday instead of Sonic house, awesome DLC releases, and the RPG levels when LBP2 came around was top notch. You could also play online so much more cleaner than LBP3 without glitching out and restarting your game.
go back and play the first and second ones, you wont regret it
same
I feel so sad that you never got to experience it's full potential. I'm mourning for your loss. I grew up with LBP 2
You missed out on good servers, lbp3 has some terrible servers
my child brain was absolutely blown by everything 2 added, it didn't take away anything from the original, just added so much more POTENTIAL. there will definitely never ever be another game like it, with the worrying direction media is going
I loved lbp as well, but tools for making games are becoming so much more available and simple to use. I'm honestly only worried for kids, since the tools they'd gravitate to are so heavily monetized
@@CapnNapalm Roblox used to be the same thing, they had so much potental but then they were corrupted by greed and everything went loose. Erik wouldn't be proud.
I loved the cute crafty nature of LBP1 so I was sorta disappointed with 2&3 but still very great games for creating.
@@splitsee2526 I hated when Roblox started changing everything (no more events, tix removed, uncreative looking logo, more expensive everything in general) but they needed more money to pay for their servers and employees since the community was growing
but it did result in the platform becoming more soulless
@@s1mon512 Not to mention the censoring algorithm and now the stupid pop-up that tries to force the user to download the app version *(it sucks ass btw)* and there isn't an option to turn the pop up off. (you can't even exit the game without it asking you if you want to download the app first)
this game gave me my childhood, and my creative art launch, this game deserved so much more than what it was given
This game brings me back all of the good memories, I remember begging my parents to buy the game for months until they finally bought it, I was struggling alot in school because i had ADHD and my school did not like me so they’d get me in trouble for no reason always, It also was a very creative game so i had tons but TONS of ideas in that game to make an underwater lobby, Levels and much more, I only grew up playing lbp3 and others call it trash, but it will always live in my heart.
I would literally do anything to get this series revived
Hopefully they’ll come around and make a LBP4
@@RobXCaliburn I highly doubt that.
Give your soul to satan and then it will be revived
@@justblazey_sp Yep. At least it's good we got good memories from an awesome game series that came to an end rather than having a soulless one just being milked or something similar
I would do anything for the servers to be fixed. hell even just getting lbp online back
As soon as The Gardens started playing I started tearing up and whistling to the tune. The soundtrack of the LBP games is absolutely marvelous but I am slightly upset that I can’t listen to them without bawling over times when my cousins, aunts, and siblings would gather around the TV and watch each other take turns playing
I got goosebumps like 7 different times throughout this video, I will always love this game, ty for the video :)
Very late to the party here, but just wanted to say how much this franchise has meant to me over the last... well, over 14 years. Some of my best friends I only know because of LittleBigPlanet and I've met people from all around the UK and the US on my travels just because of this game. Honoured to have had the opportunity to meet the devs several times and I must say, they aren't only the most creative people in the world, they are also the kindest and most generous people too. Lots of love to Mm!
2:22 hit me good. This video is pretty funny, but man that moment with the gardens track just temporarily brought me back to that childhood feeling of innocence. No stress of bills, and work. I still had my grandma, and father in my life. Spending time with my cousins playing this game for endless hours was so free. It's sucks as I approach my thirties how difficult life has been, both good, and bad. Moments like that part in the video just take me back to time I wish we could live in again, even if for only a brief moment.
I remember when my parents first bought me this game in 2009, I immediately fell in love with it's charm and Sackboy. I was so ecstatic to hear the announcement of LBP2 in 2010 that I begged my parents to preorder it for me. In January 2011, I found the Collector's Edition box sitting on my table after I got home from school, and loved it even more than the first game. These were games I would get up at 6 in the morning just so I could play with my online friends before school.
When I heard about the game getting DDosed I knew it was really only a matter of time until they pulled the plug, the servers have been up for over a decade and had a bleeding player count. The only real way to play LBP1 and LBP2 online now is through custom/private servers, which unfortunately aren't that well known and barely have anyone online. I'd of course be overjoyed if a 4th installment ever got announced, but seeing how LBP3 turned out and the server shutdown, I'm not holding my breath. Sackboy: A Big Adventure was really the nail in the coffin for LBP, showing that Sony wanted to ditch the LBP brand and just keep Sackboy. I don't think SABA is bad by any means, and I'm glad Sackboy himself made a comeback, but it isn't LBP.
Dreams is cool, but it's really meant for developers rather than casual players or kids.
Also, I don't care for Restitched, it just isn't the same without Sackboy. You can't replace him.
Me too, I don't wanna have sackboy ruined by furries..
man the second i saw that little wolf mf I was like "who the hell is that" lmao honestly i could handle it if they had come up with an equally or almost as creative fun design but the characters in restitched just don't hit right.
Jeez this brought tears to my eyes. Media molecule was a really good company with compassionate people and developers. I really wish they make a remake of the series on next gen and and pc so that people can go back to the nostalgic feel or make another little big planet but we all know that won’t happen 😢
@@deviousfootlicker9663 It's not ruined, I just don't really care for it.
I grew up on this, its amazing what they did, and it pretty much made my childhood, thank you for being a entertaining youtuber!
Took the words out of my mouth. Instant sub. And hearing "Everything is going to be okay" at the end made me wanna sub again.
Little big planet, my beloved. Me and brother always played this game all the time. I hope the game restitched could recreate that same feeling.
I hope so too.
My entire preteen life was this game. All of my friends I had were on there. As an adult I'm beyond sad that it's dead.
I will forever miss this game. The "dive in" feature was always a simple little button, but for me as a kid, it was everything. I experienced online multiplayer (because i had no friends irl), and I would've become friends with everyone there. Sadly, nowadays when I use that feature, it doesn't work as great, and not as many people are hosting, anymore. I will always miss that feature, still being alive. Also, that music you played at 2:21 it legit made me cry. Not real tears though, I just yawned.
LittleBigPlanet was everything for me as a kid. My escape from reality. I made so many friends on that game, more than what I had in real life. The game will always hold a special place in my heart.
No other game could make me cry at the sight of it, RIP
Who says it won’t come back 😊
Loved this series, the third game still holds the place as the worst little big planet but one of the best games ever made
It could have been the best just the glitches and the story mode
The creation mode is the best, but the online is horrible.
I think 3 is best
3 was my favourite until the servers shut down for a while that made me realise the flaws
The crashes, the lag, the storyline, the switching between different sack animals personally SUCKED to me
My childhood all conveyed by one game and its series. I truly miss it and wish i could go back to those days. Thank you for this video.
Lets be honest, train bomb survival and 100 jumps went hard on saturdays
Even as someone who never had any internet connection growing up and thus never playing other people’s levels, I loved LBP just for the story mode and using the level creator as a sandbox alone
I feel sorry for you.
I live in ksa and this game was huge stores plastered sackboy everywhere, this shows that this game is universal cause no one knew english back then and had to learn everything through trial and error
It's sad that you'll never get to experience the pure joy of screaming with your friends while being chase by sharks 😢
Hearing the Gardens theme made me deeply sad and nostalgic. My little brother and I poured hours into the first LBP, and knowing that there will likely never be another one is just… depressing. Hopefully something good can come from the ashes of the server hack, and maybe LBP3 can redeem itself by being the only surviving piece of level-building fun
Well hopefully they can at least remaster it for the PS4 & 5 and maybe continue the sackboy adventure games. 😢
Is there something wrong with LBP3? I played all of the games and I liked 3 a lot...
Will always remember dying laughing with my friends playing the absolutely insane nitro shark survival levels
I played the first LittleBigPlanet before I was 10 years old - I’m in my 20s now. This series helped shape my music taste, hobbies, and even career to some extent.
I’ve only recently realised how my inclination towards graphic design was likely spurred by LBP and just how similar the tools in the level editor are to the ones found in Photoshop and Illustrator, whilst being intuitive enough for a child to understand and use. Moreover, the music sequencer in the game is the first time I touched any kind of digital audio workstation; now I’m a producer. LBP even influenced my perception of fashion. Creating outfits for my Sackboy was one of my favourite pastimes. This game was an absolute powerhouse when it came to its tools and they were all so organic and easy to use. It’s amazing.
Putting the practical aspects aside, this series gave me great memories. Its relentlessly positive and inspiring attitude, its handcrafted charm, the calming voice of Stephen Fry, its large and involved community, the thousands of amazing community creations, the friends I played with on a daily basis, the music it featured which still gives me tingles, and which has influenced what I listen to today. It’s all incalculably impactful to me and my life. I am kinder and more creative because of it all.
Media Molecule deserve their flowers for this because they made something incredibly important to me, and I’m sure to many others. I wish every child got the chance to experience it and love it as much as I did. I don’t think anything much like it can ever be replicated. ❤
Dude, this was the best game when I was a young child. I was so sad to see it slowly fade away from our culture.
EVERY time I hear the music for this game, nostalgia hits hard and I always feel sad because of the memories from LBP2. No other game has hit the same since then. It's just a shame the servers are dead now.

I remember playing lbp1, 2 and 3 with my little sister. We really grew up and don’t have a lot of time for each other, and seeing this video brings back all the memories.
I personally LOVED their first intro level. They put you into a mini level where you learn the basic controls and obstacles while showing the credits in such a cute and fun way. And out of nowhere, something happens and the actual story starts immediately.
And let's not forget the theme song. It was the FKING BOMB!
The level editor was the best. I remember playing it back many years ago. Brings back memories…
I loved this game so much, I always played this game when I was younger, I’m so glad I got to play this game
the nostalgia, the fact hackers killed this game leaves me speechless

I appreciate this immensely I haven’t played little big planet in around 2 to 3 years, and I haven’t played the original in around 6 to 8 years. But the amount of nostalgia this video produced is like non other I’ve experienced, I’ll miss this game, I’ll miss the music, all the levels like the golfer level , the jungle level, the weird skeleton marriage level with that song that I very vividly remember for some reason. "Don't be sad if those moments are gone, be happy because you lived them".
I was only 14 when I played LittleBigPlanet, it was June 2009 and this game changed completely my conception of "gaming". There are a thousands of memories still in this game that will never go away from my mind, all the friends I had, the fun times, the levels we played and created, it was a magical experience that no other game has ever given to me.
Even if LittleBigPlanet will never return to its golden age (with a reboot or a remake), I am pretty sure that Sony has more things to do with this franchise and I hope that Sackboy and all the Imagisphere will grant us more magical experiences to live on!
I'll never forget the feeling of being little and hopping on my parents PS3 just to play Little Big Planet. I personally remember Little Big Planet 2 more fondly than the original but that feeling of beating the story mode of LBP will always remain with me. Thanks for the memories, Media Molecule.
My friend was one of the admins who approved user created levels for LBP. He said that 80% of the ones submitted were either levels from Super Mario or were about Nazis or penises.

i remember playing this game when i was 4, loving it, seeing the advert for lbp2 for the first time when i was about 6/7, and immediately running to my dad to buy me that game. i became addicted to it, literally! i even played lbp3, and lbp karting. my ps3 was sold and i don't use my ps4 anymore, but no amount of time can erase the memories of me excitedly rushing to my ps just to play lbp (mainly lbp2). all my best memories of the series will be cherished forever. :)
Aw that’s so sweet ☺️
Man I love Media Molecule and everything they represent, LittleBigPlanet even Dreams will always have a special place in my heart.
Edit: I still love LittleBigPlanet 3, I made the best memories on it out of the 3, on PS4 it felt like it had less bugs but more corruptions, I think people can be a little too hard on it xD
What I hated about LittleBigPlanet 3 is how much better it could've been. It adds so much more to the LBP formula that LBP 2 perfected. For example: LBP 2 had a glitch where you could build in the background and foreground layers outside the 3 playable layers. Media Molecule never patched that glitch and never had any intention to due to the sheer amount of creative potential it added. Inspired by this, Sumo increased the number of playable layers from 3 to 16 and added some incredible ways to move between them like slides, layer launchers, bendy rails, etc. Everything from LBP 2 was there and more. They added an actual currency system, a quest system, a gadget storing and equipping system, linkable words that saved your progress allowing creators to create entire storylines and link them together with ease, a dynamic thermometer that loaded and unloaded assets allowing levels to be jam packed with much more content than before. Hell, they even saw fit to add 3 more playable characters with their own abilities and skills and they gave creators the ability to freaking *add logic to all 4 characters in order to create more unique abilities and skills.*
LittleBigPlanet 3 was set up to be the best LBP game ever made... but it was so incredibly riddled with bugs with some of them absolutely game-breaking, connectivity issues to the point where you simply couldn't join your friends or hop into random play sessions without fucking everything up and if you did manage to connect to your friends it would be so laggy to the point of unplayability and crashes up the asshole that it just squanders all the potential the game had. Not to mention that in the beginning DLC was borked beyond belief when it was supposed to be backwards compatible with LBP 2 and LBP 1 DLC like how LBP 2 was backwards compatible with LBP 1 DLC. That's why people are so hard on it. It had the potential for greatness and it fell flat on its face through the floor and kept falling to the center of the earth.
Now I loved LBP 3 when it worked right, when it worked right I could see the best LBP game ever made under all the bugs. But more often than not the game would just keep fucking up and ruined my experence.
It just sucks MM was stupid as hell with dreams, it’s a great game but no multiplayer? What were they thinking? LBP 1 and 2 had people playing and loving it until the next game was released. Dreams is basically dead in the water after a few years. There’s no playing with friends or having awesome memories it’s rough
@@Ratchetpower2 Have to agree a bit.
Played it on the PS4, and I believe it was the one factor, that burnt out my Hard Drive the first time around on my PS4. Had to wait a couple of years before I could replace it. (Namely due to financial issues.) But agreeing that it was probably one of the best, if not greatest games to come out of LBP. But was just riddled with underlying problems, and no solutions to fix, or even patch those game breaking glitches.
I still own the game. But have yet to play it anymore. For those reasons alone.
@@Vnigma17 It's incredibly sad and depressing. There were times that the glitches were hilarious but most of the time they were just frustrating if not game breaking or system crashing. My fiance had her freaking save file corrupted for no reason after we had beaten the game. The game hadn't even crashed nor was anything wrong with her PS4, the save file just decided to die. Some tools were so broken that if you were building a machine it was actually better to go load up LBP 2 and build the machine there since the tools weren't broken in that game, then port the machine back into LBP 3 in order to get it to work right.
rip lbp. One of the greatest games I know of featuring creativity and imagination two things i love... the ost is great also.
Give Dreams a try then its basically creative mode in stereoids
@@bamban_garcia5562 But in a sense, It won't capture some parts of what made the LBP Franchise, LBP.. Still the end of an era essentially.
I have Dreams in my Library and brought it in early Access, I'll touch again at some point
loved lbp2 as a kid. Thanks for bringing back the memories. I vividly remember playing with a friend and we tried online mode. It was such chaos. But the good chaos. We couldn't stop laughinh
This game brings a joy and a tear to my eyes seeing this and hearing this again. Im glazed at this. This was when life was actually good back then.
I haven’t thought about this game in so long, hell it makes me sad reliving my memories. When The Garden came on, the song instantly flooded memories back, including that whole song. RIP Sackboy, you will be missed dearly
This was the first ever game I played so it obviously has a special place in my heart
I love this game and the feeling I get whenever I see it or play it
Also that nostalgia whenever I see that intro or here stephen fry’s narration hits hard
Rest in peace LBP 3 😭
This video is so real. All the time I used to play this game with my little brother, but since littlebigplanet 3 came out, it wasn't the same. I miss those times.
I miss this game so much. Me and my brother played it every time we got the chance and now we’re both studying Entertainment Arts in college. I hope someday I get to be in a team that creates something that inspired so many people like this game did.
Thanks you for making me laugh it brings me so much nostalgia
Omfg I loved this game SO MUCH👏 that intro gave me so much nostalgia that it hurt
Ok, Mario Maker isn’t crap. Just because LBP is better, Mario Maker just has a simpler approach, and is more accessible to children to make their own levels.
And it's also called *Mario* Maker. You're meant to be making Mario levels, and that's exactly what the game does, flawlessly
No matter how many video games i play today i can never surpass the amount of hours i spent on little big planet 2 as a kid
that’s so true :,) i beat the third game the same day i got it on christmas i lLOVED THAG shit man
AHHH the songs being back so many memories- I remember playing little big planet with my brother, and we would always try and get more score than each other.
I also remember playing levels that other people made it would normal be swimming pools , the shark game, and this wedding one for some reason. Me and him made a lot of memories
This game is banging
I got LBP when I was 6, it was amazing. This video brought back so many memories. Thank you...
This game was the embodiment of im playing games to relax and distress. LBP 1-2 were my childhood
Gosh what a "memory unlocked" moment. I remember dumping hours on creative mode just messing around with water levels, lighting and the most random stuff ever after being scared to deatg by some foggy mansion fan level
Thanks for the video time to listen to its ost and hope for a nostalgia trip
Good on you for this video. Truly nostalgic and I loved this game and remember playing this in my childhood. I did so many things the sky is literally the limit. I agree with you on LBP3. I played both Little Big Planet 1 & 2. I loved the story, customizations, DLC packs, creator and creator levels, music, randomness and chaotic nature the game allows for with their being endless tools in the creator/editor. I remember playing with my younger sibling and getting crazy/modded/glitched outfits and being able to troll players. Just fun, wholesome, good times!!! We all remember the really GOOD, artistic, perfect-gameplay levels that resonates the same soul, creativity, imagination, and respect the developers held to this game. It’s a shame that the game’s longevity was too little in a big planet of hopes and dreams for another return… Thank you to everyone who cherished memories on this game and is feeling a little nostalgic or down that this game is not so known so more. Thank you for making this short video showcasing a great game!!! ♥️ 🌎 🎉😊
This game came with my ps3 that i bought and oh the times i had on this were magical... just a happy 10 year old at the time hoppin on this after school trying to beat the game without dying to unlock all the hidden clothing options and have fun for hours man what a time....
I found my old PSP recently I noticed that I still had Little Big Planet opened, half way through a level, last played 17.12.2015 and the nostalgia hit like a truck.
1:44 lmfao
Mannnn you bring me some memory I used to play it a lot with my big brother . So ahead of many games, one of the best sandbox evermade to have infinite fun
Some of my favorite memories of my whole childhood were playing this game with my dad all the time, and having so much fun playing around the community levels and the story of it, it is just something that I will always remember for how it truly made my childhood
Little Big Planet wasn't about the game but rather the charm and community around it
I'll never forget booting it up for the first time and hearing that absolutely magical intro. Absolutely perfect
i remember for Christmas my parents got me a LBP2 kit, came with the camera that had a mic on it and the playstations "wiimote" i spent so much time in it just because of how much creativity i could unleash. nothing will ever beat LBP
omg yess
Me and my sis used to grind on this game nonstop. Making and playing weird levels, customizing out sack people and just having a good time. I still have a copy of lbp3 on my PS3 to this day. Looking back, this wasn't just a game. It's an experience. It really bought me and my sis together since we were completely different in relation to what we would want to play together. It let out the creativity in us. It's really nice to see this game talked about again.
And to answer any fav level questions, there was this giant whale survival game which had like a submarine, a helicopter and like rafts and everything. It was fun. But I think it's time we let it rest
I Used to play Little Big Planet with my brother and everything about it was so fun great video thanks for reminding me of it : )
it literally breaks my heart to hear about this game.
Little big planet holds a special place in my heart, I had just moved to a different state and had no friends starting in the second semester of 8th grade. My stepdad bought a ps3 and got my mom Little Big Planet, I played that game to death. Made a friend through talking about it at school one day, I was the best man at his wedding and we are still best friends.
I grew up on Xbox but when me and my mom moved to florida me and my cousins lived together for a few years and they had a huge impact on my memories I will be forever grateful for them showing me all the beauties from 2012-2014 I would sacrifice the rest of my lifespan to relive those years
