i remember growing up with Little Big Planet 2 as a kid, and I was so obsessed with it to the point where I had this massive Sackboy teddy. sucks that the games became so dull.
i had a sackboy teddy which was around the normal size for a teddy bear toy funny story, i specifically remember wanting a orange sackboy, not a normal one, not red, not green, not blue, but orange. i was devastated when i got just a normal one lol
I remember trying to do all kinds of wacky levels in karting, they all sucked honestly, but did i have fun doing them? Hell yeah, i went more for a technical aspect than a visual one and i loved it!
Man, LBP2 was just the best game I've ever played. The community levels were so incredibly well done. There was that one island survival game (my favorite, forgot the name though), bomb survival, and the "horror" levels. It was so hard not to have fun with that game. My dream is that LBP, even if it's the third (or fourth) part, gets a PC port and takes all the community levels. I would barricade myself in my room and not come out for 4 weeks.
One of my favorite memories when I was around 10 I would play little big planet 2 I would dress emo and try and get girlfriends. When I would get a gf in lbp2 it felt magical. Sooo many memories brings a big smile to my face. I remember my friends Stinkerbell & awesomeness, you guys will always be in my heart ✊🏾❤
i truly feel sad but also kind of fullfilled at the same time that LBP is now gone. LBP2 and karting where integral parts of my childhood (even highschool, i ocassionally still played it. it is truly timeless). it was such an amazing game with so much customization and unique design that i think will hardly ever be replicated. the online community was insanely developed and was where i spent a lot of my childhood years in front of my ps3 searching for levels and fully exploring other user,s entire worlds. LBP was a unique franchise that sadly fell. but damn was it great to have experienced it first hand
The worst part is that LittleBigPlanet 3 isn't even that bad... it just doesn't work even slightly and never has. Sackboy is nice but it's not LittleBigPlanet
PS Vita LBP was my first and the only game in the series. I played it every day when I was in the hospital, school, etc.. And I absolutely loved it. After a few years tho, my Vita broke, and I pretty much forgot about the serie. Got my hands on Vita again recently for emulation, and the first thing I downloaded was LBP... Surprise surprise, the servers are shut down. Man, that's such a shame, I had so many fun levels uploaded...
I also started gaming with Mario Kart DS and Little Big Planet. I also think LBPK deserved to be loved more! Definetly Number 1 on my list for Karting Games
PSP LBP despite it's limitations was my first entry to being creative, and the internet, with its community moon. weirdly enough, the most influential game in my childhood.
LBP karting was incredible mainly for the fact you could create anything. It was basically modnation racers to the next level with a different art style
I remember begging my parents always to purchase little big planet 3 all the time because i always watched youtube videos of it as a little child, I got bullied and stressed out in school alot but my little big planet 3 online friends were always there, i stayed up all night playing it all day long because i enjoyed whale attack, train survival and much more... thank you for raising me, LBP3 .... i will miss you forever and i hope they make a new lbp5 that is mixed with every lbp games...
bruh man how do you have this little amount of subs. you are one of my favourite channels and i have a good taste in videos, trust me, i have a good taste. i watch almost every video you release and i really dont get how you arent any more popular. wish you the best luck in the future
My favorite littlebigplanet 1 and 2 I remember playing littlebigplanet on psp in 2009 it was so fun until I got then ps3 back in 2015 littlebigplanet 1 and 2 me and my little sister play those levels it was so amazing
no im just so happy that i spent my whole childhood playing lbp. the times when everyday i met with a random person at 6pm and we played the game like everyday. miss ya and playing bora bora island together :(
omg people thought I was chatting sh*t when I ask if they remember making races on little big planet I was little I think 7 and I thought I imagined it those clips brought back so much nostalgia thank you lol
I doubt you'll see this but if you haven't seen this yet there is actually a way to play LBP online now through Union which is a thing that basically revived the servers for LBP Vita, 2, 1, and Cross-Controller.
0:25 "Mommy look! I'm on the Internet!", but I find it really nice that you're actually doing a video about the other LBP Games, I hope at least LBP Vita gets a remastered someday in the future, so a lot more people get to experience this game, but the only problem is that it heavily relied on the consoles front and back touchscreens and this could be the biggest problem for porting this to modern platforms
It really saddens me that they killed LBP for dreams, why did they not theme dreams around the LBP universe??? Would’ve made so much sense and that game wouldn’t be dead either which it unfortunately is
Tell me which "worlds" in LBP games you like the most? Here's my favourites! LBP1: The Savannah/The Canyons/The Metropolis/The Wedding SO HARD TO CHOOSE! PSP: Tinsel Town LBP2: The Factory of Better Tomorrow (or Avalonia) Vita: Spooky Mansion Karting: The Progress Emporium LBP3: The Manglewood Edit: From "an example" to "my favourites"
@Kaylita I understand, the highlight there was maybe the meerkat kingdom and the (totally not strip)club, it's funny, that MM managed to slip in something dirty in a game made for CHILDREN.
LBP karting was an amazing game but Modnation Racers had just come out and a second one was on the way, I just think the necessity of buying another kart creation game wasn't there unless you were a fan of LBP and just wanted it's next title
LBP1/2 and KZ2 were only games i truly cared about when i owned PS3. System sellers hands down. Also i bought vita just so i can finish LBP on it and sold it :D
I think with Sackboy being a success and it being ported to PC means that Sony at least still acknowledges Little Big Planet. I think that means that there is hope that LBP4 is in development already for all we know.
(Im writing this after typing and damn, I got a bit carried away. Nostalgia hit me a bit hard.) I unfortunately never got to play little big planet 2. I stuck with lbp 1 and ps home literally all that time, occasionally playing the demo for lbp 2, always wishing I had it. Literally the only thing I would do was quick join. Almost every single time. If I didn't see a community level I liked, I just instantly went to quick join. I remember being so excited when I joined a pod and they chose a level. I remember being even more excited when they would join their moon and we would all get to make our own things. I was always showing off my saved builds that I always got from someone else. I remember always playing bomb survival, shark survival, flood survival, horror maps, and all those other good story maps. I especially remember playing bora bora island and animal kingdom with my sister. I was always also joining people in the start of the story mode to play with beginners to the game. The amount of fun I had those days. I remember getting lbp 3 on launch and feeling that it was lacking something, but I ultimately played for a couple months. I ended up just returning to lbp 1 tho. I remember it was around when I was in 4th or 5th grade that I stopped playing lbp and moved to roblox. It was around the time PS home had shut down (another great legend) and I had forgotten about lbp 1. It was a couple years later that I saw lbp karting and decided to get back into the franchise. Karting is still one of the best games I played to this day. I played it for over a month and even after completing it, I still went back to it once in a while. After karting though, I went back into lbp 3. I lasted a couple weeks before I never touched it again. A couple of weeks bro... It didn't feel the same. It was laggy, buggy, and just lacking something the old game had. It was a good game, but I just couldn't find the old joy I had in the older game. I don't think anything will ever match the fun I had in lbp 1. I'm not even gonna lie, I don't have high hopes for restitched. Of course I encourage them to try all they can, but I don't think anything will ever match the old games. I wish them the best of luck though.
im SO GLAD to know other people loved the ps vita little big planet as much as I did!! The ps vita rocked i was lucky to have it when i was younger and that always felt like the most underrated/not talked about game of one of the most nostalgiac franchises for me!! I still listen to some titles of the psvita lbp soundtrack ( Carnivalian chase is one of the best songs EVER not to mention how incredible it was they were all dynamic adaptive music tracks )!!!!
My levels got team picked in this game back when the game launched I was so excited for this game like I literally watched every trailer for a little bit planet karting and then just went to town and finally just felt like I found some thing that made sense because little big planet two just didn’t make sense to me how to create but 3-D creating just made so much more sense so I really really really loved carding in the fact that someone made a video of my levels that I made and that game speaks volumes
i got a vita back in 2016, and oh boy did i play the SHIT out of lbp on the vita, such an amazing game, you can easily tell the developers put a lot of love and effort in it
I Remember a lot playing the online server of karting made levels by people. Heck someone made an attempt of 3d platformer built off karting engine. Way way before sackboy even existed.
Lbp4 will probably come out in either 2 or 4 years. I say this because every time we get a new lbp game it takes years for a new one to come out. So it will be a while
I am wondering if Sony still has access to the community content. I'd suggest trying to do a compilation for PlayStation 4/5 and Steam and maybe see if they can give Modnation Racers the same treatment as it was kind of like Little Big Planet Karting, but with Sackboy being replaced with a customizable Graffiti Tagger.

had lbp vita as a teen, made a playable minecraft you can place blocks with an inventory. also took advantage of the camera jank and made a doom clone.
What was your favourite LittleBigPlanet game?
The mash up pack for minecraft. (I didnt play any of them other than the first one like... once when I was around 8...)
Lbp 2
Karting was literally my whole childhood
LBP2. I bonded with my sisters a lot when we were playing that game.
Karting
I feel old, my small children I played this for many hours with, are now graduated or nearly there. Life goes fast lads enjoy it.

One of my dad's ex's got me the game when I was little
My sister's dog still has the LBP2 preorder sackboy plush, he's... 13.
Man I remember playing LBP 3 with my brother back in 2017…
@Spinnling true and my mum did bought me a lbp2 on ps3 when I was a kid.
i had a sackboy teddy which was around the normal size for a teddy bear toy
funny story, i specifically remember wanting a orange sackboy, not a normal one, not red, not green, not blue, but orange.
i was devastated when i got just a normal one lol
I remember trying to do all kinds of wacky levels in karting, they all sucked honestly, but did i have fun doing them? Hell yeah, i went more for a technical aspect than a visual one and i loved it!

was the island survival game Flood Survival?
One of my favorite memories when I was around 10 I would play little big planet 2 I would dress emo and try and get girlfriends. When I would get a gf in lbp2 it felt magical. Sooo many memories brings a big smile to my face. I remember my friends Stinkerbell & awesomeness, you guys will always be in my heart ✊🏾❤

@oxE Who knew all you had to do was dress as an emo sock puppet.
What
Glad to have played the part of Proxidist's Grandma, truly felt like I had dementia
i truly feel sad but also kind of fullfilled at the same time that LBP is now gone.
R.I.P littlebigplanet such an amazing game
The worst part is that LittleBigPlanet 3 isn't even that bad... it just doesn't work even slightly and never has. Sackboy is nice but it's not LittleBigPlanet
I still play little big planet 3 with friends sometimes (although the online is horrible) and it's still pretty fun and really nostalgic!
I wish more experienced LBP Vita, it was honestly top of the tower for what it was, best story and amazing bosses as well.
i know i did
I pretty much grew up on lbp karting and lbp psvita, really sucks to see not many people playing these game, these are truly gems

LittleBigPlanet on PSP is a better barebones port than Mario Maker 3DS
finally someone appreciates lbp karting and its good af soundtrack and remixes
Fr battle mode was my favorite
PSP LBP despite it's limitations was my first entry to being creative, and the internet, with its community moon.
weirdly enough, the most influential game in my childhood.
DAMN. LBP on the PSP was like 90% of my childhood until I foolishly traded the disc for ModNation Racers in second grade.
LBP karting was incredible mainly for the fact you could create anything. It was basically modnation racers to the next level with a different art style
70 years later, if they release lbp4 I will literally crawl out my grave to play it

Little Big Planet was the first game I got when I got the psvita, It was good, so many amazing memories
I basically think our only hope is for Media Molecule to get back as the developing team and create lbp4, although that sounds very unlikely
