I’ve got the pure pigment 24 set and just recently I picked up a different 24 set with different colors and they are just as beautiful as the pure pigments

All of them side by side look like a package for frozen Fun Pops (popsicles), and the way you have painted them looks almost 3D and tasty. lol

Pb15:6 is phthalo blue red shade and pb 15:3 is phthalo blue green shade. Cerulean is either pb 35 or pb 36. Mission Gold is Korean and they sometimes misnamed their colours. However, I love their paints. They a strong, bright, and beautiful.

Thank you so much Kris! I just got the 32 pure single pigment colors of Mission Gold, and a “Meeden” palette ( Exactly like the Quiller porcelain palette. ). I find your videos VERY helpful. I will only put little dabs of paint in to begin with. Learned that the hard way. Lol. I also put it on top of a “ lazy Susan”….. Let the fun begin! I actually love swatching! 👍🖌👩🏻‍🎨🎨🙏🏻🤗

I'm so glad! I hope you LOVE them. The Mission Gold paints are highly pigmented and vibrant. The "Lazy Susan" is a great idea. I've seen other artists do that too.

Thank you for saying what you said about cool vs warm blues. I struggle so much to differentiate between them--my brain always wants to switch where they actually land in the spectrum.

You are very welcome. I've also been confused in the past, so I decided to address the question in my videos. I'm glad you found it helpful.

That “cerulean” isn’t actually cerulean it’s Phthalo Blue Green Shade straight up. That’s why it looks weird to you. The one labeled as Phthalo Blue is the Red Shade variant. . . . Many MANY of the colors in these Mjello sets are incorrectly labeled and are actually an entirely different color/pigment. Research the codes you will see!!
I just relabeled mine to their correct names in my chart sheet

@@KrisDeBruineStudio another example is the “Viridian” is actually Phthalo Green-Blue Shade, which is actually a common substitute for the true viridian but is normally then called “Viridian Hue” and also the Bamboo Green isn’t technically a mis-label but why not just call is Phthalo Green-Yellow Shade which is what it is. Another Example would be how they are Calling one “Green Gold” but it’s really Nickel Azo Yellow which itself is a FANTASTIC And very versatile pigment in my opinion. I’d rather have known that’s what it was instead of swatching it to discover it wasn’t really green gold and cerulean wasn’t really cerulean etc…. It just baffles me why and bugs me too because it wasn’t necessary and seems very counterintuitive when naming a “Pure Pigment Set” to do so in such a clumsy inaccurate way
