I think the more accurate term is impressionist, it's not really abstract but looks to convey sensations of light and feel.

Lol it's all so beautiful and I just want to make beautiful things. My mother and father were fantastic artist in all different types of media, but both died very young, I sure missed out on some good training from them. Now I'm just barely starting to get into the arts at age 63. But it is what it is, and all I can do is my best.

That’s a beautiful creation, Karen, it makes me want to try one myself. Thank you for the demonstration. Have you or anyone else found a good quality folded white blank note card paper and envelope for making watercolor cards? The Strathmore ones that I bought are disappointing as the “cold press” is on a diagonal and shows up as an unwanted line. Also even the 140 lb weight will buckle if I use very much water. I’d love to see a demonstration of yours if you have a solution.
