Love your paintings and your tutor teaching. I think you are amazing. I haven't had a great time. But dad was good at art although wasn't his job. I'm trying watercolour for first time .paints aren't good. I keep making muddy awful mistakes. When trying forgrounds. Litterry upset it looks muddy . Even though I keep trying . ❤

Thank you so much. Watercolour can be tricky, try not overworking your foregrounds. Less is more. Allow painting to dry in between stages helps.

Hi Karen. I love watercolor and I’m a full time artist. One thing I deal with is paper wrinkles. It’s the best quality paper but when doing pieces of 16 x 20 or larger it’s wavy on the edges even tho taped while working. Any advice appreciated and--Thanks!

I mostly use watercolour gummed blocks, which help with keeping the painting from buckling. I also use paper that is 300gms and that seems to help also. I hope this was helpful? 😊

How do you keep your paper from buckling? I’ve tried stretching to no avail
