Oh Karen! Each tutorial of yours is better than the next!!! You’ve got me addicted to your channel❤❤❤ Before I found you I was doing mostly acrylic or acrylic/mixed media painting. But, I’m beginning to LOVE watercolor. There is definitely a learning curve but it has been a lot of fun. I love painting abstract/expressionist landscapes and you seem to show quite a lot on your channel. Thank you so very much😊. Once the summer is over I’m going to join your Patreon channel as well!!!!! ❤❤❤

I needed this video. I took a photo of a building surrounded by trees. I’ve drawn the building and have drawn rough sketches of the position of the trees, but I’m afraid to start painting for fear of ruining the drawing. I have to just start it. Thank you!

That ‘paralysis’ is an awful feeling. It does still happen to me but I overcame it largely by trying to as much ‘work’ in one session as I can.
You don’t have time to become attached to what you have already done.

Brilliant! I enjoy painting landscapes, but have quite often found trees (also bushes and hedges) a bit of a stumbling block in the past. But I've been really inspired by watching this video, and am sure it will be an invaluable source of help to me, when I come to tackle trees and the like in the future. 😃🎨

So many wonderful techniques shown here. I'm curious to paint lines upside down for one thing and also trying the scraping idea, which I never have tried with trees and foliage. Thanks so very much! 🎨
