I had taken this a year or so ago for a few months. It felt like a miracle compound at first, this effect lasting a few days. For the next few months I felt “normal”. I then stopped thinking it wasn’t doing anything, after a few months of not taking it I started feeling like I was in the beginning stages of memory issues. I believe this is what I was like before and now that I’m off of it, it’s jarring. For context, I’m only 30, so it’s unlikely it’s actually memory issues. After seeing this, I’m going to try it again and see how things go.

Yes, a lot of people interested in the processes of the human brain are neurodivergent. With neurodivergence comes a high likelihood of extreme sensory sensitivity and anxiety-producing distractibility.
I can't learn anything from any video with noticeable music or background noise. Especially if it has a pulsing effect or rapid rhythm.
Putting such music behind a video is like a sign that says "autism not welcome here."

Stumbled upon mg threonate while exploring mg supplements to address my diet, which I’m suspicious is probably low in mg. I’m also a physician, I recognize that testing for my mg levels would be more burdensome and unreliable than just assuming I could use more, knowing that anything I don’t need would just get excreted since my kidneys are fine. Plus I can afford the cost. I chose threonate for its aspect of brain health, and have found the same effects occurring as you have described. I absolutely love my dreams now, vivid and detailed, plus I do remember my dreams as if I just finished watching an interesting movie. That alone is worth the cost of the supplement, I actually look forward to what my dream will be when I sleep.

We forget lions mane-niacine-psylocine stack, even apranayama's-Meditation and yoga helps! Our general food intake is our medicine in everyway possible, the gut and release of serotonine yep alike molecule melatonine and psylocine those last 3 extremely important. Actually a deficit of food-light-social contact-even of oxygen- or cold baths can trigger the god molecule "serotonine" as psychedelica etc. We have to start with we have more then one brain actually. But the biggest brain ever is the field of frequency energy and vibration read consciousness or akashic records or the (a)ether)/void-universe- the devine etc. Strangely enough to achieve wisdom we most drop our knowledge/ego(identification). And a last one we Prussian decendants should know, that our educational system is based on the yep Prussian system: obedient and punctional. And our science is based on axioma and conventions..But Magnesium Threonate helps indeed and immediatly refering to follow a bit Dr Sebi's electrofy/acidity/alkaline dieet aswell. Wich food should we consume Doctor..let me or nature help us out here..did you know that there are even nuts resemblance the brain: walnuts yes! Actually in general nuts are very important alike mushrooms for our brains! Aswel look up ayurveda or the vedic writttings, steiner/anthroposophy-TCM traditional chinese medicine/fyto. There are even mudra's/tapping techniques to immediatly enhace brains at the spot, mindfulness aswell..or even better BE in the here an now ;-) (Matirx-Limitless alike)

If your stomach doesn't tolerate that or you notice loose stools/diarrhea, take it with meals.
If you want to take your malate aswell, I would take malate in the morning and threonate at night, just watch out that you don't overdose. Follow the label closely. In the beginning take less than recommended to see how your body reacts.

Based on my personal observations and the shared experiences of others, it appears that the most significant enhancements in cognition and sleep are typically observed within the initial weeks of magnesium threonate supplementation. This can be attributed to the prompt replenishment of any underlying magnesium deficiencies.
However, as the body becomes accustomed to regular intake over several months, the pronounced effects of magnesium may gradually diminish. Nonetheless, I believe lifelong supplementation with magnesium is highly beneficial for fostering improved physical and cognitive functions.
