I'm taking it evenly throughout the day, but I want to experiment with one in the afternoon and two about an hour before bed and see if there is any different effect@@tdean5840
I have epilepsy. Or at least that’s what I was diagnosed with. But even on seizure meds, my seizures happened either with stress or certain foods. I started taking Magtech L-threonate about 6 months ago at bedtime. I sleep great. But I was staying away from coffee because that was a trigger. After watching this, as a trial, I took one capsule in the morning. Then had a cup of coffee. And he is correct. I have a sense of being super hyper focused. But calm. No seizures at all. I can’t thank him enough. Because for years, I’ve missed coffee. If you know someone that has seizures, have them try an L-Threonate supplement. It’s life changing.
I have a family member dx with epilepsy. She drinks decaf coffee. Seizures don't happen too often but I think she only had them when stressed or too excited. She does not sleep at night though. I'm wondering if this can help her.
Hey, Dr Sung. I have been watching your videos and tweaked my diet/ supplements based on your teachings. I noticed my stomach acids normalized, and I am mentally sharper and more energetic. I always look forward to your videos, and thank you for sharing.

I've been using Colloidal Magnesium liquid, Nano sized, 30-50 microns, 30 ppm. Recommended 1 tsp 3 X daily. It must be elemental Magnesium? I was thinking it would be able to pass the blood brain barrier? Also using Methylene Blue occasionally. My wife has onset Alzheimers. Hi Dr. Jin Sung, thank you so much for your educational RUclips video. I appreciate the evidence-based research you explained. Can I take Magnesium Glycinate, say during the day and Magnesium L Threonate before bed?
I have been trying to figure out which magnesium to take and have looked at a lot of videos, and your videos have really helped me understand more on which one's to take. My doctor just gives me a pill. Thank you

I only have experience taking sucrosomial magnesium, which has been shown to have the best absorption into the human body. But, there is no evidence that it crosses the blood brain barrier like magnesium threonate. I just ordered some and I will see the difference between the two.
Magnesium Bisglycinate Chelate is a dipeptide molecule as it’s fully reacted and does not ionize in the stomach. Phytates and oxylates do not affect its absorption. The chelate structure makes the magnesium more effective at crossing the blood brain barrier. Two moles of glycine to one mole of magnesium.
@DrJinSung Does this mean that Vitamin D3 is only activated in the brain and spinal cord when you take magnesium threonate? If so would it be prudent to alternate with say magnesium glycinate, every so often, so that the entire body can benefit from Vit D3?
Vitamin D3 or Cholecalciferol is converted to the active form calcitrol in the liver and magnesium is used in the process. If someone is deficient in magnesium there isn’t enough magnesium for the liver to convert the cholecalciferol to calcitrol so they can often be deficient in active form of vitamin D even if they are taking lots of D3 or getting lots of sun exposure. I don’t know how this works with magnesium l threonate getting into the brain and what impact that has on the liver converting the D3
This is super helpful Dr. Jen., To be precise you are saying not only to take the dose at night, but also of the morning with coffee. This would not be an exaggerated dose because the magtein bottle says: this would be 2000 mg. per day which is the recommended daily dose. Have I understood correctly?
When i tried magnesium glycinate my bloid pressure was so low and i had strange slow/fast heartbeats. Having already low blood pressure 90/60 mostly whole life should i continue taking it?
Thank you for your videos. I love your presentations. I will share them with family and friends. I subscribed to your channel and will encourage others too as well.

Hello Dr Sung, I have been trying to find studies of Magnesium L-Threonate conducted on humans, that prove the points you have made. I have searched through your links, all the data banks at UCLH here in London, and the usual sources of peer review. There appears to only be one study on rats that supports what you are saying. It is inconclusive. I note that many clinical reports are associating laxative issues with Magnesium L-Threonate. Is that your experience? Also, it appears that L-Threonate may be the effective respondent, not so much the magnesium. I would very much appreciate your reply.
