@@snowps1 the brand I have says morning and night doses. It works very well for me. I bought mine from a brand called Double Wood Supplements. I bought a set of three because it saves money!! Good luck.
Just incredible results. Two weeks. One 2000mg tab at night. But need to combine with exercise, diet, sleep, no smokes. But this sup really DOES make a difference.
Great presentation. I sustained a skull fx. last year and am trying to to recover the cognitive processes I have lost. It is not catastrophic but is a problem with memory.I will definitely get this product. Thank you
Give Hyperbaric Oxygen therapy a go, but speak to your doctor first. Also 100% Extra Virgin Cold Pressed Coconut Oil might help. My son has brain fog and coconut oil seems to be helping. He takes 1 tablespoon twice per day before food. One in the morning and one at lunch time. All the best.
I want to give this to my father who is experiencing memory weakness, but I’ve read a lot of negative reviews primarily related to withdrawal side effects that this type of magnesium has caused….
Like all supplements, always better with food as the nutrients from your food can help the absorption of the supplement. This supplement would be no exception. Some find taking it at the end of the day can help with sleep.
@@drstevenhulme , I just started with L-threonate again last night, with 150 mg 1 hour before bed, but I found it stimulating and could not sleep until I took 1/2 a sleeping pill almost 3 hours later. I have tried another brand prior and found no success........because one really has to watch the labels. Currently I take Organika and it states 50 mg of elemental Mg threonate per capsule. And a common generally accepted recommended dose for Mg threonate is 144mg to 150mg per day. My prior supplement intelligent labs was 3 capsules = 1,000 mg of Mg which translates into 74 Mg of elemental Mg Threonate, so I would have to take 6 capsules to match what Organika provides in 3. I think I will take Mg threonate earlier in the day with meals and then take Mg Glycinate in the evening before bed. Everyone is different and reacts different, so we have to trial and error. Any feedback from @drstevenhulme or others what has worked for them I would welcome. Cheers.
Is L-Threonic the same thing as L-Threonine? If so, if I take L-Threonine powder and Magnesium citrate mixing the two together will I get L-Threonate? 🤔
I do the same ( Mg citrate and Threonine). I think it will have similar if not same effect. I feel very alert during daytime and improved sleep onset at bed time.

Unfortunately, the studies on this product (Mag L Threonate) are not particularly good. Some of them were carried out with other vitamins/PS (why?) or were published very late or not at all. Other types of magnesium are much cheaper and possibly just as good.

I trust chiropractors and functional medicine practitioners in general more than I do western medicine doctors. In my experience they’re more educated, they focus more on patient care, and they tend to take a more comprehensive approach while directing focusing on how all of the body systems work together… which is much more effective in my opinion. It’s about getting to the root of the problem and resolving it, as opposed to putting an expensive bandaid on it with pharmaceutical drugs that eventually destroy the vital organs and cause even more chronic disease (prompting the need for more prescription drugs). If you get shot or are involved in a serious MVA, you want the ER and a good western medicine doc. However, if you’re chronically ill, functional and integrative medicine is much more beneficial. It’s no wonder so many good, honest MD’s are leaving western practice and moving to integrative and/or functional practice. They’re figuring it out- it’s time you do too. There’s a specific agenda. You’re either part of the solution or you’re part of the problem. It’s that simple.
