Man everytime I needed help with my TJ ls swap, I'd type it into google. You were always the number 1 solution. All the way to the end. Thank You for taking the time to do these videos.
Damn you good brother I have watched 1000 videos maybe 20 literally to figure out this situation and I paid attention to yours and detail and fix my problem. God told me come back to your page lol
I have no spark... I do have power at coil packs.. kinda stuck at tg moment.. oh and that hot wore while cranking .. I hooked up for the moment straight to battery.
Thank you for your help I noticed on mine the computer needed to be grounded I bought car and computer was underneath the seat so the gas pump and was not getting spark as well I noticed when I would move computer the relays would make a clicking sound so I put a ground wire on computer and hold it down then I had my son start car then it started right up hopefully this helps someone else out Everyone Have a Great Day
Hi: I have the same problem. 6.2 LS swap with new harness. It did start a few times before I had the fuel and transmission lines hooked up. Then I had no spark. Grounds are good. No idea where to go from here. I'd appreciate any help. Thanks
Hey what’s up buddy how you doing I got a 87 Camaro Third GEN I did an LS swap in and I got crank no start no power at the coil packs or injectors and no spark I got feel pressure coming out the rails and I just don’t know where I hook up my red wire for my new fees box from my stand hardness too
I get power at the coil packs and injectors while cranking but the test light goes damn And I’m not getting any communication with the OBD2 port for some reason
I have a similar issue…crank, no start…LS1 (going in a 91 Camaro RS). I checked spark and have spark on ONLY cylinder #1! Any ideas? All plugs, wires, coils, and injectors are brand new. Thank you.
@@TestDontguess this is youtube, just wanting to test the circuit didnt think I'd have to bust out electric books from ten+ years ago. thats why I came to RUclips asshat
So I have the exact same problem. Its a vortec 5.3 engine in my Colorado. Thing is I bought it like that and I've been driving it with no issues. The other day I was driving home and hit a dip. Nothing hard but its a good up and down, like a roller coaster. As soon as the truck bobbed the engine cut off but all the loads were still on. So I don't know if I shook something loose or maybe even worse my top post battery grounded on the hood when it bobbed and killed the ecu since my truck apparently has two different computers. No spark. Cranked with some carb cleaner going into the air intake and nothing, not at all. Any ideas???
@briancooper2216 I blew a fuse. The wire harness was jammed up behind the engine and grounded out the fuse for the starter. I cant remember which fuse but I know that I just assumed that it was fine only to find out later it was blown. Had to remove the intake and move all the wires out. Some were rubbed and frayed. Cleaned them up, did some housekeeping with the wires, put a new fuse and it did the trick. I kept blowing fuses before hand because I was being lazy on the housekeeping of the wires.
Glad you got it running. Good info for Mechanic but for an average Joe doing it's 1st swap bad explanation. No steps in what tools to use which wire coming from what. But I understand you don't get get paid for this. Maybe you can do another video step by step... only if you want to lol
I did a genV swap and it won’t start but will start off starting fluid I don’t know what to look for I did have it wired wrong like this video shows but I fixed that and still nothing any ideas?

Thanks for posting this video. It totally fixed me no start/spark problem.
It got my LS swap started as soon as I grounded that wire. Thanks for the help

You’re running that pink wire to straight battery?
No….. it’s ignition on while cranking
It’s coming from ignition on while cranking and in order for it to receive 12 bolts at all times where are you hooking it up to
Good work trouble shooting that issue. I can't wait to see it running down the road.
That's what's wrong with my ls..I put it in another truck an it won't start. I check the grounds.an I change the crank cam sensor....

How did you get it started I just swapped a Malibu crank no start hella smoke
hey man. set your meter to what? this is such a vague video as far as what to do diagnostic wise.
It’s not vague, if you can’t understand what’s going on and how to use a meter this diagnostic is beyond your pay grade.
