Glad you liked it bro! Thank for the shout out!
These are great rations. More easily available in the UK. I have two but not beef stew. I need to look out for that one myself.
Thanks for sending it to Nathan! He makes great videos! Wish I was half as good as him.
@@henrymrerations4421 Just do you own thing bro!
@Pete Peter haha thanks but I wish
I’m guessing the water was in there so you wouldn’t have to use any of your drinking water for a FRH that comes separate from the ration. Great stuff as always man, cheers
Rifleman's ration is the closest translation to the original, Strzelec - Rifleman is also the name of Polish paramilitary organization, and this MRE's was made to cater to that organization (and other similar)
i think closest translation to strzelec is shooter
@@hubertgizinski7962 No it is not the closest, Rifleman is the closest contextual translation (translation of word strzelec to shooter is direct word to word no contextual translation... and belive me You don't want to use this kind of translation on daily bassis - check translations of some english movies in Poland in early 90's.. then You will know what i'm talking about) for this case. "Rifleman: a soldier armed with a rifle, especially a private in a rifle regiment." , also "strzelec - odpowiednik stopnia szeregowego, np. w Wojsku Polskim w okresie międzywojennym w pułkach strzelców konnych - Rifleman - the equivalent of a rank of private, e.g. in the Polish Army in the interwar period in regiments of mounted infantry". The Rifleman's association is referring to the tradition of the Polish Army in the interwar period. So it is logical that product catered to this organisation will be named in similar manner with similar meaning.
The tank biskit s usually go in the main to soften them up ( or so I have herd).
Thanks for the review Nathan
I cut the spam up and mix it in with the main.....it lifts both rhe spam and the main and I can't be bothered with the tooth breakers
These are awesome rations and more easily available in the UK, Not seen the beef stew though that looks great. I have two I will be cracking open soon.
were you actually in the military before? because I just want to know. also, what MREs/military rations do you recommend?
I’d like to see these prepared in the field. Setting up the cameras would be easy. Plus, would be more interesting to see the practical issues that might arise.
You got a knife that's a bit too much for ya. HAHAHA.
Very interesting ration
..the food should be camo colored..lol...good one, stay safe and have a great week..
😂
Obviously we all have personal preferences, but I rate the Lithuanian MRE's best pound for pound. High quality chocolate, really good isotonic drinks, and decent main meals.
Nathan, I turned up my volume all the way when you went to eat the teeth breakers just to hear a nice crunch but you fast forwarded it, I so wanted to hear that but I'm glad you didn't break your teeth!
Had to take my time chewing that up , stopped the camera
The package said Chocolate Cake, not cookie or whatever the label said.
Hi Nathan, good review, enjoyed video! Looks like a good ration! 👍😎
It sure does!
Does this food get eaten all the way, or is the rest just thrown in the garbage after the camera is turned off?
Looks interesting
Looks good, especially the cake
Nathan the plastic bag is not a flameless ration heater it's water purification bag to be used with the tablet provided
They still use hardtack?
That looks pretty good!
👍
that entree looks nice
Nobody ever reviews the water purification tabs. Are they all the same?
You are the best mre reviewer.
👍
Nathan love you have a side kick now, but tell him to speak up. I know how most of the MRE's taste from years of experience, but, I would loved to hear his real opinions and not be bashful to say if he like it or would eat it himself say on a camping trip or as survival food. I am old school Vietnam pilot from B-52 dog models where more often than not we would get out meals issued to us out of ops. You might remember the old bologna sandwich, apple, peanut butter and jelly sandwich, and ginger ale (of course we always stopped at the chow hall and filled up a thermos with that fine black death they served). So in short hearing a new thought on the MRE is a nice thing. OH YEA sometimes we would get luck and get the Korean rations. Better to go hungry LOL
Thank you for watching , Phillip does not have a mic on is why you can barely hear him , i appreciate your service in Vietnam and im glad you like the videos , i think we can keep up at least one a week from now on finally.
I thought the sniper rations would be less.....crinkly
Had one of these a couple years ago, was pretty good
The one I had did not have tbe main in a box and it did have the frh included. Love the coffee candy
Yes i am very glad they started using the cardboard shell for the main , we all know how fragile they are
That's cool
This looks a nice enough ration, but why is it meant especially for snipers? I don't get it.
I would expect that snipers can expect to be treated more harshly if they fall captive to most opponents so no actual sniper wants to be identified as such
What kinda knife is that
hey its my old pal the nut walker 🤣 lol
i'm supprised. I've noticed this with several rations now. Operations which depend on stealth, yet still have reflective packets for their meal. Shiny silver, bright white, bright colors. you'd think all of that would be dulled down to grey, black, or camo for covert missioins.
Looking on the packet... It looks like commercial market MRE made for some survival/bushcraft freaks. Look that it has website adress on it - not a case on military contract MREs.
@@mateuszg9866 But canadian army MRE's suffer the same issue. Our mains came in bright shiny reflective pouches. They only shifted to the greens and browns in the 2000's. Of coures they still have the commercially packaged chocolates in them too
@@jenniferstewarts4851 well... I don't think Polish military had something like MRE prior to early 2000 xD some canned meat or bread and other stuff but it was still in post-WWII matter when field kitchens were and robbing civilians were essential to provide food.
Now all of military contract MREs are in semi-gloss dark green pouches with big sticker that inform you what's inside and that particular in review looks to me like "civilian" market that you can buy online.
Yep, but again, as i stated, this bright colored packaging, seems to also be in military rations, which never makes sense.
@@jenniferstewarts4851 it doesn't but on the other hand - do you really need food pouch to be camouflaged well? You don't use them while being under observation, right?
Those are the old school matches there the best
I love those polish rations the mains taste like you said not weird more like a homemade meal. I do enjoy those crackers but they are tough as body armor. I have been looking for one of these but super rare. It was really cool to see the review excellent job Nathan.
lol yes, all these guys saying these rations are not rare, if they live in the states i challenge them to buy one
@@NathansMRE , I got lucky and Madog346 sent me one. Can't remember what menu it is.
Actually the word "cookie" is a Dutch word meaning "little cake!"
No shit? That's really cool
👍🏼
Boy, you are busy with all your video´s :) But the rations do have my heart, really *
Living the dream i guess lol
@@NathansMRE Yessir :)
You think European rations over all are more wholesome with better nutrition than the US MRE's?
100%
I’ve noticed that you have a bad taste/choice in knives 😅
There are so many nice knives out there... and then there are Nathans knives xD

Boilerplate biscuits😁
Who's that dude in the background?
Just some hobo that stopped by 😂 its my camera man and editor Phillip
@@NathansMRE good on you for employing and feeding the homeless! :D
That stew looks like it is already pre-digested.
ABC...
Why did you throw the thing that looked like a straw to side without saying anything about it?
Because....it's just...a straw.
Straws are never in an MRE
@@michaellynn9181 It's just...a straw, chill man don't lose sleep, don't let it eat away at you...it's just a straw.
@@stevelomas4119 its not eating at me. so dont assume. i just simply asked a question. it is unusual to have a straw in an MRE. if you know of any other videos tha show an MRE with a straw in it, please provide a link.
@@stevelomas4119 and also he always says what is in the MRE. he just threw that to side like it was in the way.
You....AMERICAN BOY......100%
You like to “circle back” like Jen Psaki!
Yes had to do that in this review since google ruined the translate app lol
First and what ration is next
French is next
@@NathansMRE which menu
@@NathansMRE French ones are usually good. There's a bit too much sweet stuff in them for my liking, but the standard is high.
This is not a food ration of the Polish Army. This is some kind of fake for hunters.
That's a loud MRE for a sniper.
I'm sorry, but that is not a NATO ration. That looks civilian from a mile away.
Yeah that’s a civilian ration. Polish army rations are much different
You don’t like coffee what !!!!! Your not human ....he’s gathering intelligence for the hidden race of aliens that live among us
No, coffee is disgusting.
@@hastingssaunders9661 you must have never served in the military why do you think there’s coffee in mre’s cause only real men drink coffee
@ckf9xo3j2bzo2 no it’s called I served my country blame the United States military for me being an addict coffee is served every morning in the chow hall on base and if you don’t get there in time all the addicts suck it down
@@willysworld1018 A real man is allowed to have his own opinion.
@@hastingssaunders9661 then why bring me into your opinion
You’re a brave man to voluntarily put some of those things into your mouth. 🙊🍫🥛
