Polish ration heaters: IM COOKIN HERE !!!
Polish rations are awesome, great review sticky
Thanks Pete! I appreciate you stopping by 👍
What makes it Hungarian Origin is that it's from Hungary, a traditional stew. Also, Hungarian food uses lots of paprika, Hungarian Paprika is beloved by chefs worldwide. It's spelled Gulyás in Hungarian. It generally uses stew cuts which can be chewy if not cooked for long enough. Most likely they did not cook it too long so that the meat would retain it's structure for a longer period of time. Good and fresh gulyás isn't normally chewy, but that does depend on the cut and technique. With 🤎 from Budapest.
I’ve had german style ghoulash and I have to say it was very similar.. of course freshly made slowly cooked ghoulash would be softer and more tender.. I was surprised how good this was coming out of the can 🥣
In Poland, "Hungarian goulash" means actually your pörkölt
For Your information - the biggest producer of paprika in Europe is... Poland :)
The polish ration is set up well. I really enjoy the mains they taste homemade to me. Awesome package they really hooked you up. I am excited to see the future review on that. Excellent review Stickyfingaz I know you been busy but glad you were able to get this one out.
Thanks bud, I gotta get another package for you sometime.. if you wanna trade let me know! I’ve got more Lithuanian and Latvian rations 👍
@@Sticky745 That would be awesome I will message you.
Another try getting to sleep. Thank you again!
You are welcome. Take your time.
I think is this the best MRE test review, very good form and quality - fun to watch, good job !
Since you've used the word delicious many times I feel obliged to comment :) Great review my friend, this menu is one of my favorites in the Polish army set. I can see that there is one improvement - at last they has changed the flimsy and breaking spoon ! BTW- this is how we in Poland imagine the Hungarian goulash, but as far as I know - it is kind of dense soup in Hungary. The dish in this menu is rather like PÖRKÖLT with fresh pepper.
Thanks for stopping by, Piotr! I was hoping you would watch my review! I still remember the Polish 24 hour ration you sent me, I will never forget! Probably one of the best and memorable rations I’ve had… I have to say, the Polish do ghoulash right 👍
That looks like a really solid main, looks really good. Need to look at getting this one now thanks.
Great review Sticky! I do agree the Hungarian stew is quite good i had it in the 24 hour SRG menu 6. It has been a while since i had a Polish ration and need to get some more to try. If you want another interesting Polish ration try and find a SRG menu 3. It has a cabbage stew with kielbasa and chicken meatballs with spinach sauce. As always nice to see you around!
I’ll definitely look out for that one! Polish rations are an all around great ration! Thanks for stopping by, Steve 👍
Boy, that main makes my mouth water. I need to get me a Polish ration. Great review.
Great review sticky looked like a great ration you made that fish sound awsome
Looked pretty dang tasty to me . Howdy from South Jersey thanks for the video. Safe travels!
4:50 LOL, I still have unopened packs from months ago. I'm glad it's not just me!
Great meal. Nice meaty main. I love the polish rations. Nice review.
1:59 Something new......in Polish MRE/SRG. Well done . BMC is veryy good quality Polish brand.
Great review, Sticky! I know a very popular dish around Halloween time is Ghoul-ash, 😄
😂😂😂 that’s what I think when I hear the word ghoulash
The US goulash wasn't bad, but I need to try this menu for sure. The Polish make great rations.
I don’t think I’ve had the US ghoulash but this was certainly a good one. Thanks for stopping by, viper!
I may have in my freezer if I do I will mail it to you
Your videos make me hungry. I'm opening a can of sardines tomorrow for sure!
Thumbs up - even before watching
cause your videos are always
5 stars. * * * * *
Thanks for the entertainment.
By far best camera work -
presentations crisp & clear....
professional quality.
Hey, John.. what’s your favorite ration thus far?
@@Sticky745
Geez, so many to pick from...
I am always impressed with
the Russian, Latvian, Polish
rations. They seem hearty
and much more natural than
US rations.
Great ration but no chocolate I'm not enough fluid
My wife and I make goulash all the time.....very hearty, made by shepherds in Europe, great dish!!!!
It is an awesome dish! Do you have a specific recipe you would share?
Good to have you back! Canned meat from eastern countries is usually very good - and you safe 3-4 hrs. cooking a proper “Gulasch” 😉
Good stuff from Eastern Europe 😁
I am half way through the video and allready getting tired. Thanks Buddy.( Even this sounds weired i mean this nice)
I was really surprised! I wasn’t expecting such a great ration waiting for me, thank you so much 👍
That whole meal looked good
Small correction - it's not an expiration date, but rather "Best before" meaning this isn't out of date, but its quality may be diminished. We have "Use by" in Europe that sets expiration date after which it shouldn't be consumed. If there isn't one present it should be safe to eat whenever.
Agreed!
Hungarian goulash is a more pronounced smoked paprika flavour. Other countries add different ingredients. Traditionally goulash used dried meat, so the meat being a bit chewy maybe them trying to replicate that.
Ahhh makes a whole lot of sense now 😅 either way it delicious and a very hearty meal
Use the fish oil to soften (and flavour) one or two of the biscuits, then sprats on top. Yum!
Well done! Thanks for sharing! I enjoyed the video!
Yeah that's right I do food reviews while on the toilet.
My brother does his foody fashion show on my channel also.
He wears songs now.
Excellent
I would definitely chow down on that !!!
You really loved eating those sprats.....
Cool thanks
:D in Russia we call this cookies "bulletproof vest"
Hahah 😂 I’ll use the next time
It 👀 really good, unfortunately the hard tack crackers you can't put the sardines on them because there so hard to chew.
Pretty great looking ration, although I’m not a big canned fish fan, glad you enjoyed it. The European rations all seem to look really good, too bad our North American makers can’t learn from them
Got to have paprika in to make it real Hungarian Goulash.
😂 it’s really good ghoulash
Nice vid. There's a general misconception about hungarian gulash. We call it "gulyas leves" which means gulash soup. So it should be a rich soup not a stew.
Ahhhh good to know… do you eat it with anything on the side like bread? I’m curious to know 🧐
@@Sticky745 Yes, some do prefer to eat it with bread. Sometimes we make it with some small dumplings in it. Although I think the original version was definetly without the dumplings, as this was originally made by shepherds.
Looks a lot better than the USA version
I don’t think I’ve had the US ghoulash… it would be interesting to give it a try!
Xylitol is good for your teeth, although yes, it is a laxative if eaten in large amounts. Those amounts in that bag are not that large :)
Brother love your videos. Watching you eat all that delicious food. I had to switch off Nathan’s MRE typical American white guy criticizes almost every MRE. The thing that gets me is all that food wasted. From someone whom has been on contract and when you get down time you literally consume your MRE . You don’t even heat it up it goes cold. I can say that guy wouldn’t make through basic the way he’s scared of other countries MREs. I hate the US rations they are loaded with Suger . Pretty soon the US will contract McDonald’s to send Happy meal MREs
Panzer Waffles tank tracks
Bullet proof armor I’ve heard that 😅
So.1.Eat it.2.Use it in bullet proof vest.3.If armor in the tank is broken replace it with it.4.additional layer in claymor mine.5.If your bayonet is lost cut the enemy throat with it.And about 20 more ways to use it.
Chocolate bar are in 24h ration, in single you got only a fruit bar
25:27 honey, almond & salt chocolate, i heard that a little bit of salt enhance taste of chocolate
Yes! I’m aware of that… I was just hoping the newer ones would have a chocolate treat! Thanks for stopping by 😁
I have yet to try goulash American or foreign
Really? I think you’re missing out! My wife introduced me to it and I’ve been hooked ever since 😅
The fish looks gross. 🤢I am not a big fish fan but that looked disgusting. Awesome video and review Sticky.
👍👍👍👍👍
👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
my mother made goulash, what is basicly beefy mac
Long time, no speak. Hope we are still friends? So far behind, I will never catch up!!!!!!!!! Sorry. Good looking meal. Most seems to taste good, as well. Agreed on honey. Heat in Microwave, or, hot water. Will go back, to original state. Heck of A meal friend. Highly impressed here, sir. Peace from Ky., John, AKA, Magnum. Need me, yell.
is ghoulash made from ghoul meat?
mom didn't make real goulash
first nice vid
